Parking is free, and there are plenty of spaces when their isn't other events or services going on at the same location. My first visit was for a family kid's birthday party, and we were all pleasantly surprised. The party itself was organized well and had its own area inside one of the buildings. We had our own area decorated (you can bring your own decorations, too), and the food was fantastic for amusement park food. We had pizza, turkey sandwiches, chicken tenders, soda, and punch. We had about an hour for lunch before being released to enjoy the rest of the park. Many of the staff were kind during the party and throughout the park and made the experience that much nicer. The variety of rides here will please most young kids and adults. There are a couple of roller coasters, a carousel, a train that circles once around the park, and many more rides. I'm surprised how much they fit into the park space. There is also an arcade and a petting zoo. For food in the park, you have the standard burgers, pizza, tenders, pretzels, churros, ICEE, ice cream, and more. The prices aren't too bad either. Plenty of snacks and merch to purchase, too. There are also plenty of places to sit and relax, with shaded areas. Especially needed during a warm SoCal day. It was the first time for many guests in our party, and everyone enjoyed the experience. Many of the kids want to go back and have their birthday parties here next year, too.

We were able to get on quite a few rides without spending the entire day standing in line, which made the visit much more enjoyable. There's a good mix of rides and attractions for both kids and adults, so everyone in the family was able to find something they enjoyed. We also loved walking around the park and taking in the atmosphere. Even with the heat, there were plenty of places to take a break and cool down. Overall, it was a fun family day and a great way to spend time together. The heat was probably the biggest challenge, but it didn't take away from the experience. We had a lot of fun and would definitely come back again!

We've been to Knott's for Knott's "Scary" Farm during Halloween time and that was way more to our liking. It had scary thrills with very good actors, while keeping our feet firmly on the ground. Thrill seekers, Knott's is def for you. There is no shortage of rides for you. Knott's Scary Farm around Halloween is great too for those who love to be spooked and chased by chainsaw wielding fiends.

i only did disneyland this trip & didn't get a park hopper. we did rope drop, so we were there…read moreright when the gates opened. we were able to get all of the attractions we really wanted to ride out of the way before the lines got too long, without even using our lightning lane. then we used lightning lane throughout the rest of the day, which worked out really well for us. the morning was rainy, but honestly, it didn't stop the disney magic. most of the rides stayed open, so we were still able to do everything we wanted to do. once the rain stopped, the day got even better. all of the disney treats were yummy, the merch was fun to look through, & there were so many little side activities & things to see throughout the park. there was just so much to take in, & i genuinely had the best time. 10/10 disney day. nobody does it like disney.

Of all the bashes this was the first time we went through cause usually the line was super long all the time we went around 20 mins before closing time and the line was manageable. The lighting is cool and the sounds and the displays are interesting. Overall it's good to see at least one time in my opinion but do plan accordingly.

I took a solo trip and had an excellent day despite a few hiccups along the way. The first thing I did was book it over to the Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission BREAKOUT ride. I got incredibly lucky. The Lightning Lane reservations were basically booked until almost 9 PM, and the standby wait was around 90 minutes. The Cast Member working customer service noticed I was by myself and worked a little Disney Magic to get me on. I really appreciated that! Easily one of the best rides in the park. I loved the reimagining of the old Tower of Terror and had an absolute blast. I tried to make it up front to meet Oswald, but his meet and greet suddenly disappeared from the app. I really wanted to meet him, but it's all good. I'll have to catch him on my next visit to California. The exact same thing happened with Black Panther. My top two character meet and greets canceled on me! That's probably my biggest complaint of the day, but let's be real, it's definitely a #FirstWorldProblem. Radiator Springs Racers had about a 70-minute wait, and you have to purchase an Individual Lightning Lane if you want to skip the regular line. Thankfully, the Single Rider line was only about 20 minutes, so I threw my Galaxy Buds in and thugged it out. Worth it! Cars Land itself is also incredibly immersive and beautifully designed. Walking around actually made me want to go back and watch the Cars movies again. Next, I kicked it over to Pixar Pier and rode the Incredicoaster. Easily one of my favorite rides between both Disneyland parks. It is so much fun from the moment you're strapped in and launched off to the sound of Dash's voice. 10/10. Loved it! Definitely grab a Lightning Lane because that line gets long FAST. Afterward, I saw Baymax was doing a meet and greet and hopped in line literally right before he went on a 15-minute break. After waiting, Baymax came back out with Hiro! I've never met Hiro at Disney before and honestly didn't even know he did meet and greets, so that was a really nice surprise. Then I went to ride Toy Story Midway Mania, but it broke down for the day after I had already waited about 20 minutes in line. Y'all, my luck was fluctuating UP and down all day. Haha. I wrapped up the day with Goofy's Sky School and WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. Sky School broke down too, but thankfully it came back up pretty quickly. I had a Lightning Lane and was already near the front. That being said, I probably would not ride it again. It was way too rickety for me, and my head kept knocking against the back of the seat. WEB SLINGERS was basically the same experience I had at Disneyland Paris, except this time it was in English, so I could actually understand the backstory of the ride! If you like Marvel and/or video games, it's definitely a must ride. Come to think of it, this ride broke down for a little while too. The Disney mechanics were OFF that day! Thankfully, these days everybody has earbuds and smartphones, so the extended waits didn't bother me too much. I ended the day with seeing Goofy and Mickey and some souvenir shopping for family and friends. Something about a Disney visit isn't complete to me without seeing Mickey Mouse! He was as energetic and effervescent as ever. He loved my Oswald the Rabbitt shirt. :) All in all, I had a great day and would absolutely come back again. There are still rides I didn't get to experience, and hopefully next time I can finally catch the Oswald and Black Panther meet and greets I missed. California Adventure has seriously stepped its game up since I first visited as a kid in 2001. Twenty-five years later, it feels like an entirely different park, and I had a great time exploring it all over again.

We were able to get a decent deal with a grand bear suite, water park passes, kid wolf pass, and breakfast Buffett. They put a bracelet on you and that's all you need to get in room, water park, pay for food, gifts, snacks, etc. Nice not having to carry stuff. Room was clean, bed bug free (I check thoroughly), and the AC works well. We had a toilet that wouldn't flush they sent someone immediately, he used the room ice bucket to pour tap water into the back of tank which was odd to us but whatever we didn't plan on using it (we had a mini cooler with us). The indoor water park is super fun, bring goggles and eye drops because the chlorine is strong. Really strong!!! Lazy creek is the only ride that wasn't the clearest. Especially by the end of the day. Outdoor pool is lovely. Really refreshing. We were there during the week and it wasn't crowded at all. They have fun little kid activities afternoons and evenings. Food was great in the restaurant, pizza place, Buffett, and ice cream place. Free cups of ice water everywhere I asked for one. Mini golf was geared towards young kids(7 and under), adults don't waste your money. The kids enjoyed jungle climbing thing, and the obstacle course in the sky! It's a cashless resort but staff will accept cash tips if your service is exceptional and you feel generous. I'm not sure but I think tips are included with package deal at least they were with ours. The Fireside restaurant was good, however if you have dietary restrictions I wouldn't trust them, the chef came out discussed restriction with us, and when food came out and after asking confirming 3 separate times yes it was gluten free only to have the waiter come back to the table and take it away because it was not gluten free. Lucky for us our friend had only a small bite and knew it wasn't gluten free. They brought out another they assured us was but by that point we didn't trust. The pizza place and breakfast buffet were fabulous and were able to accommodate restriction easily. Arcade super fun ask the workers about deals they were pretty generous and we won a couple of jackpots! Great ticket/prize set up not like chuckechese nightmare! Lazer tag kids had fun. Parking is ridiculously expensive $35 a day self park even if you are staying overnight. Still super good time was had by all, and no one got sick so that's great!
