Especially Xcelerator. Ghost Rider was a scream-fest also. Calico Mine Ride was more my speed. LOL! We've been to Knott's for Knott's "Scary" Farm during Halloween time and that was way more to our liking. It had scary thrills with very good actors, while keeping our feet firmly on the ground. Thrill seekers, Knott's is def for you. There is no shortage of rides for you. Knott's Scary Farm around Halloween is great too for those who love to be spooked and chased by chainsaw wielding fiends.

It's a fun time, less crowded than Disneyland, much simpler than Disneyland, and a lot of fun! I've got three kids under the age of 12, and there's a lot for them to do in Camp Snoopy. There are some solid deals on food and drinks too, and while the meals are nothing to write home about for the most part, some other places have some really good portion sizes. Half-chicken meal at the Boardwalk is a good deal. Parking is a bit steep. I'm surprised that it was $40 even in the general parking lot. But the walk to the park is short, so I like the convenience (ahem, Disneyland). Is it as immersive as Disneyland? No. Is the app good? Not really. (lol for example it said the log ride wait was 15 minutes but actually it took an HOUR). Is the storytelling and music as good as Disney? Heck no. But it's a LOT of fun, the roller coasters slap (esp. Ghost Rider) and it's hecka cheaper, especially if you buy an annual pass. As I mentioned before, Camp Snoopy is brilliant for kids under the age of 10, and my 11-year-old still has some fun on the rides there. Highlights include the spinning swing rides, Sally's Big Swing, and the Snoopy Roller Coaster. The Wild West Ambience is on point. Bandits still rob your train mid-ride, and the live banjo music at the barbecue joint in Old Town was a nice touch! All in all, a solid good time. Went on a Monday in mid-August and the lines weren't too bad (except that log ride lol)

This is usually a popular thing during the Bash and lines can be over an hour or two so plan accordingly. Of all the bashes this was the first time we went through cause usually the line was super long all the time we went around 20 mins before closing time and the line was manageable. The lighting is cool and the sounds and the displays are interesting. Overall it's good to see at least one time in my opinion but do plan accordingly.

There have been a lot of updates since my last visit just last year. New eating space inside, additional cabanas, and the outdoor pool has also had some upgrades with new sun loungers. There's a lot to do and you can easily spend the entire day here, like we did, filled with fun family friendly activities for all ages. $40 each for a day pass, definitely worth the price for all you can do. The food situation was a little disorganized, they are revamping the food scene inside the actual water park area, but I think once it's all done it'll be fine. We had a fun day!

We're locals and have stayed at this property sometimes 2-3/yr over the years, often taking advantage of the Voyager promotions. Until this visit, we haven't had a bad experience. The biggest issue started unfortunately, at check-in. When I asked Cecilia about the kiosk authorization amount because I had recently been traveling and had previously been given a different amount for authorization, I was rudely told to "check my email." The response felt unnecessarily condescending. I was simply trying to clarify the amount so I could make the appropriate funds available as I wanted to take advantage of the expedited check in. The check-in became unnecessarily long and overwhelming, to the point that a manager had to step in. Unfortunately, the experience continued downhill. We were checked into a room that had not been properly cleaned, including feces left in the toilet. This is the first time in five years that we have experienced a cleanliness issue with our room. The waterpark was also noticeably less maintained than during our previous visits. There was hair throughout the lazy river and pool area, along with dirty towels left around. The surf simulator was also removed, which was disappointing because my daughter had been looking forward to it. I recently had a baby and brought an infant float, only to learn after getting into the pool that personal floats were not permitted. I understand that this is the policy; I simply was not aware of it because I had never visited with an infant before. However, policies should still be communicated clearly and respectfully. The same applies to the new wristband policies. We have always been given wristbands for our party, and the new policy was explained in a way that made me feel as though I had done something wrong rather than simply being informed of a change. Management was also disappointing. Instead of immediately focusing on resolving the concerns, the manager seemed more focused on explaining the policies. Policies can change, but that should never come at the expense of respectful customer service. I do want to recognize Leo. He stepped in quickly, listened, and genuinely tried to turn the experience around. He explained the policies kindly and respectfully without making me feel condescended to for asking questions. His customer-centric approach is exactly what I have come to expect from this property. We have been loyal guests for years and have always enjoyed coming here. This is the first time we have experienced issues with both the cleanliness of the room and the waterpark, along with such poor customer service. The policies may have changed, but the standard of customer service should not.

A huge shoutout to Deon, who provided the best customer service we've experienced anywhere in a long time. Our kids had an absolute blast, and Deon was fantastic with them. He was super helpful, patient, and attentive while getting them set up and safely having fun on the go-karts and bumper boats. Stepping back onto the track brought back so many cherished childhood memories of my dad, and Deon helped ensure my kids walked away with those exact same happy memories today. You get around 6 minutes of play time per attraction. To access attractions, you press a service button to call over an employee. It was not crowded on a Monday afternoon and there was plenty of free parking. + We started off our day with bumper boats to cool off in the summer heat. Each boat had built in water shooters. We were spraying each other and everyone got soaked. + We went on race cars to dry ourselves off. The cars were surprisingly fast. - For race cars, there was no working service button. Instead, there was a picture of a button taped to the wall which was a bit confusing. We ended up finding a staff member who let us in. It would be helpful to have a note with instructions on what to do. + The laser tag arena was bigger than expected with plenty of walls and obstacles to hide behind. There were even a couple of jump scare surprises lurking in corners. + Mini golf was fun with different colored golf balls and decorated courses. + Plenty of arcade games for all ages. - Some games were broken or out of service. + Clean bathrooms. + They sell Dole Whip here.
