After her cleaning was done by her hygienist, the hygienist mentioned changing insurance policy and rates. Upon enquiring at checkout, the receptionist mentioned that our insurance Aetna was dropped by the doctor. My wife proceeded to ask her why she was not informed of that before her appointment with the receptionist answer was that Aetna does offer out of network services and and that my wife should be fine. This is totally unprofessional behavior and and we would've hope that they would've let us know before the appointment for.

Last August, I chipped a tooth a couple of weeks before my family was going on a cruise, and I ended up at Mckinney Ranch Family Dental. I was greeted by Dr. Yang. In short, Dr. Yang is all about helping people, and she doesn't criticize, condemn, or try to sell things you dont need. Dr. Yang is extremely professional and has a great bedside manner. She appears to legitimately care about her patients. I could go on and on about how much I like, respect, and appreciate Dr. Yang. I digress! Shifting gears to Mrs. Christy (Insurance/financial coordinator). In short, Mrs. Christy is absolutely amazing! She is up-front and open about all charges, what the insurance may/may not accept, etc. A level of transparency and honesty that I'm not use to seeing when it comes to dentist offices. And finally last, but certainly not least, there's Mrs. Teresa! She is the woman who greets you when you arrive and contacts you to confirm appointments. She is absolutely amazing as well. She recommended a fluoride toothpaste to my oldest son, as it can stop the process of developing little issue areas into cavities that need fillings. My daughter will need invisilines or braces. I'm so very happy with Dr. Yang identifying early these areas, so we can take care of them and help my kids enjoy a life of dental health. I had my gum graft done by him in July 2022 and it was the worse decision ever. The cost was outrageous, and then what I was quoted ended up being different. I paid for a retainer I never received, and the instruction's they give post surgery are terrible. I felt like I was just another number in his office and on follow up visits his staff was rather rough taking out my stitches and based on his Blaise attitude when I had my follow ups I could not tell if the procedure went well or not. Now, 3 years later my bottom teeth are moving and look terrible, and I was left with a hole in my lower gums. I was very disappointed with the overall experience and care taken by him and his staff.
