The service in general was friendly and kind. But we left without ever getting our pizza. We left after 90 mins and they admittedly said our pizza wasn't in yet. So, we were at least another 20 mins away, closing in on 2 hours from arrival to MAYBE getting our pizza. The people again were nice. But there is no reason for two large tables over the course of 90 mins to have no pizza at the table. While we were attempting to pay so we could leave, a server asked the manager if they could get something taken off of the one other table in the restaurant, and the manager said no. Well, if it's normal for multiple tables to wait 90+ mins to get told their food isn't in yet, then this may not be the place to go. read more

We were on our way home from a service I Farmington and remembered this place from the Pizza Passport. The waitress, Allie, was awesome. So sweet and friendly. Explained everything and was just so nice. Ordered the fire sticks with ranch dill dressing. Very good. Mozzarella sticks with Frank's Hot Sauce. I chose a create our own pizza with red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, jalapeño, pepperoncini, tomatoes, green Pepper, onion, and basil. So good! Had a Sunday Funday planned and headed to Bonne Terre to visit Friends. 1st stop was Pizza 101 South for lunch. The Cheese Garlic bread is a must have!!! The Gouda Mac and cheese bites were very tasty... I think dipping both in the side of Marinara sauce was the topper!! I think it is one of the best sauces I have tasted.. The Salad was very fresh. Highly recommend the Ranch Dill Dressing. The pizza was good. It is only 11" which was fine for me as we had the appetizers but if you are starving you may want to get 2 pizzas!! Howdy! My wife and I visited for the first time today wow! The Fire Starters & Toasted Ravioli appetizers were fantastic! They have 2 versions of the Toasted Ravioli, we got the beef which were tasty, but our waitress highly recommended the nacho cheese ones. The Hot Mama pizza was delicious and had a kick. We were heading home to Maryland Heights and passing through Bonne Terre. We realized there was a pizza place there on our pizza passport. We were really hungry after floating on the river all day and this place hit the spot. Fun decor and open kitchen. There was one waitress and she knocked it out of the park taking care of everyone who came in. She even showed kids where there were coloring books and activities very patiently. We shared the house salad which was excellent. Dressing was homemade and we loved the boiled egg. For an appetizer we got the garlic cheese bread and it was to die for with the chunky marinara. For the main event we got the carnivore pizza. Crust was crispy but not too thin. Toppings were plentiful and fresh. We'll stop back in the next time we coming through. read more

The 60 minute drive from SoCo to Bonne Terre for Pizza 101 South was worth it! We had a delicious lunch, our server Nathan was delightful, the service was top-notch!! We were greeted immediately, and everyone was friendly and checked on us. We had the Cheese Garlic Bread, Smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese Bites (one of our "surprises"!), and the Total Package pizza. Their dipping sauce is outstanding! Nice and thick, with lots of flavor. We went about 1:30 on a Thursday, and were the only ones in there. That was nice because we were able to chat with our server Nathan, and he brought us a couple "surprises"! The restaurant itself is very nice, and there is lots of variety on the menu. What a great meal. Not being a big salad eater, I did order the lunch special which included a salad, small pizza and a drink. I thought I would eat the goodies out of that Greek salad, but the feta cheese, fine chopped onion and sliced olives didn't stop! It was wonderful. Great option for a family friendly sit down meal. We were on our way back to St. Louis after spending the day at Terre du Lac, and we wanted something other than fast food. Pizza 101 South was the perfect pick! All 4 of us agreed the pizza was delicious. There's also a good selection of pasta, although we didn't try them this time. The servers were very friendly. This place is fairly new and I've been twice so far! The atmosphere is very different depending on when you show up. Seems empty and quiet during lunch hour, but on nights and weekends the tables are full of local families. All of the pizzas are the same size and made in a brick oven in the back of the restaurant, where you can watch them assemble and prepare it, which is neat for kids. The menu lets you customize your pizza, but from what I've heard people love the Fly Me To The Moon which is a buffalo chicken pizza with bleu cheese. There is also a small arcade game in the corner, so bring quarters because the kids love it! The tiramisu was good and I look forward to trying the other desserts. What a nice little find in a small town. It had a nice ambience and the staff seemed friendly and service was quick. We ordered two pizzas and pasta. The Pesto and Chicken was good but could use a nice drizzle of pesto on top rather than on the bottom only as it was a little dry. The Margarita Pizza was decent. We stopped by today on our way home from St. Louis looking to try a new place to eat. The service was outstanding. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful plus the atmosphere reminded me of what pizza places used to be like. We ordered the cheese bread which was soft and cheesy with just the right amount of crunch. We ordered a specialty pizza which was so good! I wanted to keep eating but was too full from my cider and bread, so we ended up taking leftovers home. We will be back because we want to try the pasta, and because we LOVED their pizza. read more

After steering clear of this place for a couple of months due to bad service and sub par food we decided to give them another chance, MISTAKE! Went in Sat eve. , not too busy, and waitress is too engrossed in whatever she was doing on her phone to bother welcoming us or even acknowledging us until we brought her attention to that we were there. She proceeded to flit around the dining room doing absolutely nothing while we waited 10 minutes for her to bring menu and get drink order. Drops off menu and says "I'll be right" back" then proceeds to get drinks and order for two tables that walked in well after us and then holds a five minute conversation at one of the tables. Comes to our table, now we've been here for a good 20 minutes, to get our drink order and tells us it will be a 40 minute wait as they had a party of 15 coming in. Who GAF, they aren't there, we are, and they think we're going to hang around? Left and will never return and we'll make sure we tell anyone who wants to listen how F'ed up they are. The reason we haven't been going there for awhile is their burnt pizza and crappy two day old salad fixings. NEVER AGAIN! read more

My husband and I had been wanting to try this places pizza for a while and we're excited for a new place to go unfortunately after the way the experience went we won't be back. We waited for about a half hour for our waiter to get to us we were patient as we know everyone is short staffed these days so while waiting we looked up the menu online my husband decided to get a pitcher of beer since there is a sign on the table stating food would be slow to come out it said the pitcher was 10.50 we also got a garlic cheese bread. It took about 15 minutes to get the garlic bread and it came out lukewarm at best and didn't have much flavor. Our pizza took about another 45 minutes it was warm but not very much flavor nothing exciting plus the portions are small it's a 12 inch pizza for 14.00. When we got the bill we noticed they charged 19.50 for our pitcher, my husband showed the waiter the menu online the waiter took our receipt to a manager or owner he then came back and said it's because prices have gone up and that's what it is. So not only was the food very mediocre at best but they also aren't honoring their prices on the menu. I consider that false advertisement. I do not recommend this place little Cesar's tastes better and will save you time and money. read more

Need I say more! The foods amazing but they treat their employees like crap, and have no sense of care for anyone who's pregnant. In fact they expect more out of you and make you lift heavy stuff. I passed out while on the job and they weren't going to send me home I had to ask to leave. I called out two days cause I'm 6 1/2 months pregnant and hurting really bad and I got taken off the schedule and never was told I was fired just heard through the grapevine... pretty sure this isn't how businesses are suppose to run. I was serving one day and my boss was drunk and literally took a customer to the ground cause he was DRUNK. Then that same manager also cussed out one of my customers because they (the cooks)made a mistake, I believe his exact words were "I can give them 50% off and if they're not happy with that then they can just f*** off." They obviously heard it and we're very upset.. Very very unprofessional! Didn't make any tips and on top of that they left with out paying for their meal.
