I was working there on a refrigerator and I work at a lot of restaurants all over MA, NH, RI, and CT as a refrigeration technician. A lot of names that you would recognize that are not 1/2 as clean as this place (and it was a busy lunch time). Didn't notice any thing that would require a board of health inspection as a previous reviewer stated, the kitchen and equipment were spotless. The owner offered me a free lunch which I can't accept but it was lunch time so I ate there (and paid). I got a slice of pizza and a sub. The pizza was ridiculous. Crust was thin, crisp with the right amount of sauce and cheese. Pizza is like sex, even when its bad its good but this was like good sex i want more of it all day long. Roast beef sub was also delicious . It makes me want to move to Wareham so I can eat there every day. read more

I'm told they have great pizza but I honestly haven't tried. My wife and I do swing through Pizza Boy at least once a month for their Roast Beef however! Specifically a couple of "Super Beefs with Sauce and Cheese". The sandwiches are always delicious with mounds of fresh and warm roast beef. The curly fries are always quite good. read more

Update! something changed. on the last 2 visits the food went down hill. Roast beef was ground in a meat grinder. Why? The fries were over cooked. I gave them the benefit and I don't think I'm going back. read more

called in for a steak sub. arrived 10 mnutes later and waited another 15 minutes because owner was talking to a customer. cashier handles money and cuts and wraps subs with no gloves. once asked owner if he could throw my cold cuts on the griddle for a couple of minutes for an Italian sub....he said no. Pure nastiness. Two reasons, first of all, a large "bacon" (had literally no bacon on it) pizza is a whopping 21 dollars. Luckily I had an extra 5 dollar bill in my wallet. Second of all, the delivery guy didn't have any "change on him" and I had no choice but to tip him an extra 4 dollars. Then, we opened the greasy soaked box and out came this rigamortus pizza. The "pizza" tasted as good as the box looked. The crust tasted and looked like burnt firewood. I wouldn't recommend this pizza place! read more

Up I used to love this place, it seems like the last 10 times I order from them they have messed up the order or brought us someone else's. The soda is always warm and the manager never cares when you call to complain, even if your not asking for money back. read more

I've been here previously for roast beef sandwiches which were very good. However, I'm rating it a 3 because of my most recent trip there this evening. There were 2 girls working cash register who subsequently turned around and touched calzones and pizzas with their bare, dirty hands that had been touching filthy, dirty money. The board of health needs to be called on this practice as soon as possible. Don't the owners realize this is a health hazard and against the law? No gloves or hands being washed. We love Pizza Boy! The subs are packed with a ton of meat and fresh ingredients! The pizza is a thin(ner) crust pizza and just delicious! The people are SO friendly and the delivery times are great! I eat here all the time. Not sure if you'd call the pizza "greek" style, but it is a thin crust. The menu has everything you need in a pizza/sub joint and then some. Classic North Shore roast beef to die for. Piantadosi Bread for their subs which shows they take pride in their sandwich. Apps are above average with the addition of several different flavors of wings. The boneless wings are real, hand battered chicken. The staff is more than friendly and will always take a special order to accomodate you! read more

best roast beef sandwich in the area, i recommend getting it at the shop instead of delivery, so it's still fresh off the heat. much better that way. and the toasted bun is the proverbial cherry on the top of the sundae. so good! read more
