Pizza Bruno on Curry Ford is my favorite pizza spot in Orlando. It's locally owned, and the original Curry Ford location has always been the most consistent. With full service and both indoor and outdoor seating, it's a place I find myself coming back to often. They have a takeout section as well. The vibe I would say is eclectic. The famous knots with the kale salad are a must. Add any traditional or specialty pizza, and you've got an incredible meal. Mondays are even better because they offer select whole pies for $10, such a great deal for a quality pizza. I've tried other menu items, but I always come back to the pizza, kale salad, and knots. That's what they do best in my opinion and it's exactly what I'd recommend to anyone visiting for the first time.
Had a few new-to-us pizzas on our last visit and had to share! Of course the garlic knots remain a highlight and some of the best in Orlando, and we never skip them! This time we also got a NY style pepperoni, and it was awesome! Just as good as the woodfired pizza and a great size to share. We also got the lover boy blue, and the blueberries with the burrata and bacon made for an amazing unique flavor profile! It wasn't too much or too heavy which we appreciated. Love it here so much!
I want to start by saying my experience is based on a takeout order but the trip from the restaurant to eating was only 5 minutes. We've lived in the neighborhood for a while and have heard so many good things about this place. We were in the plaza and decided what time is better than the present. We ordered a pizza, 2 types of wings the lemon pepper and dry rub bbq. We also got the garlic knots as suggested and they lived up to the hype. They were the highlight of this meal. The pizza in concept looked delicious but the toast did not match. I saw a crispy crust as that's my favorite part which was nice but the actual pizza did not impress my pizza lover husband and he's not hard to please. It also wasn't hot kind of like it needed to cook more on the actual pizza. The wings were the most disappointing. The lemon pepper wings did not give lemon pepper at all there was just a strange brown oil. The bbq rub wasn't very flavorful either. They were seasoned nicely but not like the bbq flavor you'd expect. Overall this was a pretty mid experience. We may give it another try one day and eat in the restaurant but definitely won't be in a rush to do so. On the bright side the staff was super nice and helpful with suggestions.

Got to experience their pizza making class for a team event and everything was so great! The food was amazing but the pizza class itself was so much fun. Chef Bruno was enthusiastic about his craft but made it easy for everyone to make their own pizza from start to finish. The meatballs were good but the kale salad was the talk of the night!
After reading all the wonderful reviews I was really looking forward to trying pizza Bruno and our family of 12 drove 45 mins to try it tonight ! However I was disappointed that a piece of black hard plastic was found in our kale salad (we let the staff know immediately and showed them, and they apologized) - I totally get that accidents happen w food prep- but I would have expected them to comp our salad at the very least (our meal was $350). the garlic knots and pizza were truly really good otherwise but the response we got w the plastic in the food- left a bad taste in my mouth
Absolutely delicious! I wanted to find a nice outdoor patio that I could enjoy a pizza with my dog and I'm happy I went to pizza bruno. As soon as I sat outside, somebody greeted me. I appreciated it because I wasn't sure if I needed to go inside to let somebody know I sat down. Our server was super friendly and even offered a water bowl for my dog. Looking over the menu, I wasn't really sure what to get and our server recommended the tight socks, pizza and the garlic knots. She definitely pointed us in the right direction. I absolutely love the garlic knots although I wish they tasted a little bit more fresh and warm- the garlic taste was out of this world. Once I tried the sauce, I knew pizza was gonna be great (and it was!) I decided to also put in an order for the meatballs. The meatballs and the pizza came out there roughly around the same time. The meatballs were so great. I even forgot to take a picture. The outdoor patio at the time was very quiet and conveniently shaded because of the time of the day. Although I can't say that the chairs were the most comfortable for a pregnant woman, I did really enjoy my time outside with my dog. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the food and would 100% come back. Next time I want to try to dine inside too.
Tried this place for the first time tonight and I was pleased with the pizza but not the wings. So the positive first, we got thin crust pizza and it was really delicious. The wings were supposed to be hot honey but they were plain. On top of that they were barely fried. Truly disappointing. I can't speak on ambience or service because i ordered takeout.
I haven't been here for 5 years! Will not give less stars because of the ambient, but they DEFINITELY needs to upgrade their place! It's a small place, doesn't accept cash, expect to have long waiting time during peak hours, as it's an small place. They do offer an to go option that's where the restaurant get busy! So, if you go to eat there, expect 45 min to your pizza during busy time. It's an family business, their price are Really REALLY FAIR for what they do offer, can even remember where I Paid 1 DOLLAR FOR AN APPLE JUICE FOR MY DAUGHTER! So if you like REAL pizza, go there, my only advice it's their sauce it's salty, so chose carefully your toppings, I like Margherita, but if you add olives or salty toppings, could be too much. Also their garlic knots (if you like garlic) are awesome! Really affordable place, with good Italian pizza, comfy place (just need some improvements inside)
We arrived around 5:45 and were seated at the far end. Others arrived after us and were waited on very quickly. A male server walked by several times but didn't pay us any mind so maybe we weren't his table. We waited almost 10 min with no acknowledgement from anyone. My friend finally went up to one of the girls who seated us to ask about getting waited on and then she finally came over to take our order, trying to hide her attitude. The full Emperor salad was huge, delicious and came out quickly. The pizza was fairly quick as well but it hardly had anything on it and it was $23!! You can even see the sauce in several spots without cheese, i was lucky if I had one piece of sausage and 1-2 mushroom slices on each slice. My friend's pizza has quite a bit on hers though. We had to ask for more tea and weren't asked if we wanted any dessert. I would come back for the salad and the garlic knots looked amazing but I'll be getting my pizza elsewhere.
My husband and I came on a Thursday night and it was fairly busy! We were seated quickly though and were served by a super friendly waitress. The restaurant has dim lighting and is loud at the time of day we came, but we were still able to hold a conversation. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest. We ordered a 1/2 order of garlic knots ($7) and a pepperoni and chill pizza ($17). The garlic knots are AMAZING. Definitely worth the garlic breath. The pizza was also really good, I loved the fun combination of flavors you get with pepperoni and chill. My husband and I left feeling full and satisfied!
Best pizza in Orlando! We have only done take out but absolutely amazing. Compares to pizza we have had in Europe. Staff is great and pizza is ready when they say it will be. The atmosphere inside seems like a great place to dine in. We are going to eat there next time! Dirt Nap is our absolute favorite!
Pizza Bruno was pretty good. The garlic knots are actually really good as well. Make sure you get the pizza BEFORE the garlic knots or else I feel as if you will numb out the taste of the pizza because they garlic knots are flavor intensive! I had a good experience and my server was really on the ball for how young she said she was! Hard to find those kinds of tentative people! The patio looked nice, but it was a little too cold to sit outside. I would return!

Two words: garlic knots. They are the quite literally the best ones I've ever had. (I just don't recommend kissing anyone after) Pizza Bruno serves up some of the most consistently delicious pizza in town. Everything they serve is flavorful and exactly what I love in a pizza place. I've gotten a number of pizzas throughout the years and they always knock it our of the park. My favorite is the Crimson Ghost and Tight Socks. The pizza is Napoleon style, so it's a thin crust. It's a popular place, so keep in mind that you may have to wait for a table if you come during peak times. It's worth it though, I promise. read more

We tried Pizza Bruno for a second time recently using their delivery option. For this order, we decided to try the kbar pizza and an order of garlic knots. Ordering was easy and the meal came within the given timeframe. The garlic knots alone are worth a visit in my opinion. They are amazing! For a to go order, they pack the sauce separately so you don't end up with soggy rolls. The rolls have a good flavor on their own and are nice and soft, and the garlic sauce is plentiful so you can load up your roll to your heart's content! The kbar pizza is pretty good. I love the fact that Pizza Bruno offers a lot of unique topping options and that the pizza is a different style from what you typically find around town. This pizza wasn't quite a slam dunk for me. There was a slight bitter flavor that I couldn't really pinpoint that took away from the pizza as a whole. It wasn't enough to ruin it, but I didn't love it as much as I thought I would. Pizza Bruno has been on the list for a while. Several friends of me and my wife have suggested this place. We were absolutely excited to try Pizza Bruno. It is located inside of a strip mall.. which we came close to passing. No reservations were needed, we just walked up to the host and we waited 10 mins for a table. The restaurant itself is small... had a few tables inside and outdoors. While waiting I noticed the kitchen area. It's completely open, which I loved. Thought it was nice seeing everything being assembled. After 10 mins passed the host walked us to our seats. Once seated menus and waters were given. We actually knew what we wanted to order based off of suggestions from our friends, and looking at the menu online before hand. We told our server we were ready to order. We decided on the following: -Garlic Knots plus sauce ( Too Much Garlic, Pecorino, Chili Flake, Oregano) -Kale Salad ( Golden Rasins, Candied Pecans, Pizza Crumb, Pecorino, Emperors Dressing) *Ordered both to start with* *2 pizzas* -Roni ( Double Pepperoni, Calabrian Chilies, Caciocavallo, Pecorino, Garlic, Oregano) -KBar ( Fresh Mozzarella, Fontina, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, Double Garlic, Rosemary, Sauce Swirl, Black Pepper) The garlic knots and kale salad didn't take too long to come to the table. OKAY..... I LOVE PIZZA BRUNO. And you will, too. I kept seeing this place pop up on my social media feed where people were raving about them so I had to venture out and see what the fuss is all about. I came here on a weeknight at 7pm, and there was already a line forming out the door. Hoards of people came after me so I would venture out and say that the earlier you come here, the better. Regardless if its a weeknight or weekend - they get busy. And for good reason. Plan accordingly. I was a party of 3 and waited for about 25 minutes. It wasn't terrible. We sat down and first things I noticed was that it was SMALL. Not big at all, very homey and a quaint atmosphere. The music was very loud but not surprised at that. It's a pizzeria! Our waiter was very friendly, and funny; but not attentive at all. I understand that they were really busy and most likely understaffed- but for a party of 3 with a small order, we were left unattended longer than we should have. But it's okay! The experience kept me there. We ordered simple. Garlic rolls and two pies. Margherita & Crimson Ghost. Firstly, the garlic rolls were the best garlic rolls I've ever had in my life. They PILE on the garlic - like so much garlic my mouth had a tinge afterwards. I LOVED IT. Being italian, there is no such thing as too much garlic. It came with a side of sauce and it was just perfection. I can't explain how happy my taste buds were with the overdose of garlic. YUM. GET THE GARLIC ROLLS!!!!! The pizza was another hit. The Crimson ghost had amazing flavor. The Mike's Hot Honey paired perfectly with the soppressata and it popped. My only qualm with the crimson is that it wasn't enough spice. I love a good kick and this was mild, at best. The Margherita was another home run. Just excellent. All in all, absolutely check them out. It was a drive for me, but well worth it, and would come back in a heartbeat. The hype is real. Pizza Bruno is a true gem of Orlando. I hope they open more locations in South Orlando! read more

We had Pizza Bruno cater the surprise birthday party for my husband's 60th. They rolled the stone pizza oven in our driveway and set up an excellent pizza bar with Margherita, Crimson Ghost, and Blanca for our guests. We also had the chopped salad, meatballs, and lemon ricotta. All of our guests raved about the food-it was so fresh, well-prepared, and authentic. Working with Lila and Bruno to plan the event was so easy. They really make such an effort to get all of the details right. Tamra organizes and runs the catering on site; she is another very professional and genuine person,who is so happy to make everything perfect. Their presentation & service was outstanding. Ordered KBar online @18:17 for a19:00 pickup. Finally got the pizza at 19:24. Dude says orders get backed up. It's not an airliner it's just dough tomato sauce and cheese toss it in the oven then wahlah. And this is what we got.!!! See photos!!! Wish I could make it minus stars. One of my fav local pizza spots in town with friendly staff. The vibe is casual and not fussy, you go there for the pizza not atmosphere. My fiancé is a pizza fanatic and he loves it here as well. They love garlic here in the best way! The pizza only comes one size about a 12", there are many sauces and toppings to choose from (average price $15), entrees, appetizers, desserts and beer/ wine. A must try here is the garlic knots... so delicious and super garlicky! Yes, I'm a fan and can't wait to return when this pandemic is over. So local if you can... cheers! So there are many types of Pizza...the most predominant would be NY Style and Neapolitan style - how it was originally made. Pizza Bruno is of the Neapolitan variety. Pizzas are made in a wood-fired oven. You'll see wood-fired or coal-fired ovens; pizzas made in each are cooked in a matter of 2-3 minutes. That said, Pizza Bruno was so busy, i waited for 45 minutes for my take out order. This place is consistently rated one of the best pizzas in Orlando and it shows. I tried the Margerita and Crimson Ghost pizzas - and because of the long wait time, they felt bad for me and give me some complementary meatballs. The Margerita was very good - i really loved the char on the crust - this is what makes a wood/coal-fired pizza stand out. The Crimson Ghost was very good - i liked the Mikes Hot Honey on it but felt that the sopressata was flavorless - maybe another time, it might be different - but honestly felt that Antica Pizza had a better rendition. I am absolutely a fan of Pizza Bruno. We have tried quite a few different pizza places around Orlando now, and while we've definitely found some other good ones, this place blew us away. It is exactly the kind of pizza that we like, with a nice thin crust and cooked perfectly. I for our pizzas we got just a margarita and a blanca. There is only one size pizza but it was actually very filling with the addition of the garlic knots that we started with (which were ginormous). We also took home the crimson ghost pizza for the next day which we loved even more. If you are looking for some good European style pizza, I highly recommend. The staff was very friendly and it was a small space, which made for a nice date night outside on their patio area. read more

Horrible Go to College Park instead of Curry Ford for to get what you pay for! I ordered 3 pizzas and some knots this is my first time at this location. I always go to College Park where the service and pizza is amazing. I pay extra on all on the pizza for extra cheese and basil and on the cheese pizza I asked for extra cheese. I believe I paid 3.00 + dollars for each pizza to have extra cheese and almost 2.00+ to have extra basil on 2 of the pizza. And obviously they don't know the difference of well done either. I get maybe 4 specs of basil and definitely not enough cheese. I called to complain 30 min prior to closing and no one picks up the phone and I just left so I know it's not busy. I don't understand how this place got 4 stars. If you want Bruno's drive to College park. Your service and pizza will be worth it. It has to be the area because I just don't understand how u charged me almost 13.00 dollars more for extra and I barely get anything extra I paid for. You be the judge look at the photos. And customer service is stupid too, they act like they don't want to service you if you come in at 9:01 but they close at 9:30. Won't ever go here again. It's closer to my house but I will drive if I have to for the better pizza and service. Horrible don't waste your money on this place in Curry Rd. Not sure if it's the same owner but do better at curry rd. They need to answer their phones too! read more

Awesome garlic knots with enough garlic to last you for a month! The bread is crisp but chewy and just pure deliciousness! We got the pizza with the kale and added mozzarella so it was basically veggie pizza. The crust was thin enough but got a little thick toward the end. They have a nice variety of pizzas and if you don't eat the garlic knots, then you can eat your own. They have a nice wine and beer menu, as well as alcohol. Will definitely go back when in the mood for pizza! Definitely try it, Pizza is smaller than park pizza which is my fave right now, but comparable! Yummmmmmy! It was my husband's birthday and he LOVES pizza, so he found this place on Yelp! When we walked in, it was pretty dead. I was relieved because we had a party of 13 total. We walked in a little before 5 PM and didn't realize it was almost happy hour. The restaurant quickly filled! The staff was all friendly and accommodating for our huge party during happy hour. Max was so pleasant and the staff worked together to get our food out efficiently and accurately. I am not a huge pizza fan, but I like it occasionally. I ordered the Octopus and it was big enough to share since we ordered salad for the table, as well. Everything was decently priced and we even had leftovers. We will return for sure! read more

Not everything can live up to the hype unfortunately. Maybe I'm spoiled by some local pizza but this was a mix bag for me. What great the Kale salad amazing . Good but interesting the socks pizza gouda is a strong cheese it worked but didn't wow me. The okay but disappointing was the garlic knots it was the most hyped thing going end failed to even come close to be slightly impressed. As for restaurant I came right when open service was good restaurant it self was bit dirty. So I let this sit based what had as at between 3.5 and 3 but I have to give it 3 based on what they had. Good pizza, but not "drive across town" pizza. Best enjoyed on premises (fresh pizza doesn't travel well), you can see there is some pizza craft at work here, and there's nothing fresher, but sizes are small and prices high, so my crown in this category goes to Prato. read more
As usual, still coming here on the regular and still loving it. I always get especially excited to try new menu items! Smooth stout (Working Mans Porter from Rav Pig) to go along with the newbies ... App: sheep's ricotta with butternut squash, honey, roasted pepitas and old Hearthe sourdough bread = heaven in your mouth! Salads: Apple, fennel and cherry salad was light and had just the right amount of sweet VS tart with the perfect cheese chunk balance. Unfortunately, they no longer offer takeout on their website or any delivery services. When we want takeout, we go there, order what we want, have a drink at the bar, and wait.
Would this place work for a monthly meeting of between 6 and 15 people on a Saturday evening? Is it too noisy? Is there a back room?
They're pretty busy on Saturday evenings and honestly it's probably too loud if your meeting involves extensive conversation. Spacing is also tight - I don't think they could accommodate 15 people without advanced notice. There's no back room that…
