Pizza Bruno on Curry Ford is my favorite pizza spot in Orlando. It's locally owned, and the original Curry Ford location has always been the most consistent. With full service and both indoor and outdoor seating, it's a place I find myself coming back to often. They have a takeout section as well. The vibe I would say is eclectic. The famous knots with the kale salad are a must. Add any traditional or specialty pizza, and you've got an incredible meal. Mondays are even better because they offer select whole pies for $10, such a great deal for a quality pizza. I've tried other menu items, but I always come back to the pizza, kale salad, and knots. That's what they do best in my opinion and it's exactly what I'd recommend to anyone visiting for the first time.
Had a few new-to-us pizzas on our last visit and had to share! Of course the garlic knots remain a highlight and some of the best in Orlando, and we never skip them! This time we also got a NY style pepperoni, and it was awesome! Just as good as the woodfired pizza and a great size to share. We also got the lover boy blue, and the blueberries with the burrata and bacon made for an amazing unique flavor profile! It wasn't too much or too heavy which we appreciated. Love it here so much!

Got to experience their pizza making class for a team event and everything was so great! The food was amazing but the pizza class itself was so much fun. Chef Bruno was enthusiastic about his craft but made it easy for everyone to make their own pizza from start to finish. The meatballs were good but the kale salad was the talk of the night!
After reading all the wonderful reviews I was really looking forward to trying pizza Bruno and our family of 12 drove 45 mins to try it tonight ! However I was disappointed that a piece of black hard plastic was found in our kale salad (we let the staff know immediately and showed them, and they apologized) - I totally get that accidents happen w food prep- but I would have expected them to comp our salad at the very least (our meal was $350). the garlic knots and pizza were truly really good otherwise but the response we got w the plastic in the food- left a bad taste in my mouth
Absolutely delicious! I wanted to find a nice outdoor patio that I could enjoy a pizza with my dog and I'm happy I went to pizza bruno. As soon as I sat outside, somebody greeted me. I appreciated it because I wasn't sure if I needed to go inside to let somebody know I sat down. Our server was super friendly and even offered a water bowl for my dog. Looking over the menu, I wasn't really sure what to get and our server recommended the tight socks, pizza and the garlic knots. She definitely pointed us in the right direction. I absolutely love the garlic knots although I wish they tasted a little bit more fresh and warm- the garlic taste was out of this world. Once I tried the sauce, I knew pizza was gonna be great (and it was!) I decided to also put in an order for the meatballs. The meatballs and the pizza came out there roughly around the same time. The meatballs were so great. I even forgot to take a picture. The outdoor patio at the time was very quiet and conveniently shaded because of the time of the day. Although I can't say that the chairs were the most comfortable for a pregnant woman, I did really enjoy my time outside with my dog. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the food and would 100% come back. Next time I want to try to dine inside too.
Tried this place for the first time tonight and I was pleased with the pizza but not the wings. So the positive first, we got thin crust pizza and it was really delicious. The wings were supposed to be hot honey but they were plain. On top of that they were barely fried. Truly disappointing. I can't speak on ambience or service because i ordered takeout.
I haven't been here for 5 years! Will not give less stars because of the ambient, but they DEFINITELY needs to upgrade their place! It's a small place, doesn't accept cash, expect to have long waiting time during peak hours, as it's an small place. They do offer an to go option that's where the restaurant get busy! So, if you go to eat there, expect 45 min to your pizza during busy time. It's an family business, their price are Really REALLY FAIR for what they do offer, can even remember where I Paid 1 DOLLAR FOR AN APPLE JUICE FOR MY DAUGHTER! So if you like REAL pizza, go there, my only advice it's their sauce it's salty, so chose carefully your toppings, I like Margherita, but if you add olives or salty toppings, could be too much. Also their garlic knots (if you like garlic) are awesome! Really affordable place, with good Italian pizza, comfy place (just need some improvements inside)
We arrived around 5:45 and were seated at the far end. Others arrived after us and were waited on very quickly. A male server walked by several times but didn't pay us any mind so maybe we weren't his table. We waited almost 10 min with no acknowledgement from anyone. My friend finally went up to one of the girls who seated us to ask about getting waited on and then she finally came over to take our order, trying to hide her attitude. The full Emperor salad was huge, delicious and came out quickly. The pizza was fairly quick as well but it hardly had anything on it and it was $23!! You can even see the sauce in several spots without cheese, i was lucky if I had one piece of sausage and 1-2 mushroom slices on each slice. My friend's pizza has quite a bit on hers though. We had to ask for more tea and weren't asked if we wanted any dessert. I would come back for the salad and the garlic knots looked amazing but I'll be getting my pizza elsewhere.
My husband and I came on a Thursday night and it was fairly busy! We were seated quickly though and were served by a super friendly waitress. The restaurant has dim lighting and is loud at the time of day we came, but we were still able to hold a conversation. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest. We ordered a 1/2 order of garlic knots ($7) and a pepperoni and chill pizza ($17). The garlic knots are AMAZING. Definitely worth the garlic breath. The pizza was also really good, I loved the fun combination of flavors you get with pepperoni and chill. My husband and I left feeling full and satisfied!
Best pizza in Orlando! We have only done take out but absolutely amazing. Compares to pizza we have had in Europe. Staff is great and pizza is ready when they say it will be. The atmosphere inside seems like a great place to dine in. We are going to eat there next time! Dirt Nap is our absolute favorite!
Pizza Bruno was pretty good. The garlic knots are actually really good as well. Make sure you get the pizza BEFORE the garlic knots or else I feel as if you will numb out the taste of the pizza because they garlic knots are flavor intensive! I had a good experience and my server was really on the ball for how young she said she was! Hard to find those kinds of tentative people! The patio looked nice, but it was a little too cold to sit outside. I would return!
Soooo delicious. Wanted to try a new pizza spot and Pizza Bruno hit the nail on the head for pizza night. Ordered for delivery and it was just as hot and tasty as if it were ordered there. The garlic knots are KILLER and so is the pizza itself. The crust and undercarriage were cooked to a crusty perfection. The tomato sauce was flavorful and didn't give me heartburn. HELL YEAH!

I passed by during a market on a Sunday. Pretty cool quiet market. Went inside to eat and the decor is cool too. There's a to go area as well. The service was quick and friendly. The food was really good. We ordered a fall special appetizer cinnamon sugar knots with mascarpone. Maids ordered a medium pizza and wings. My wife and I split a pie as well. I gave it 4 stars because the wings were a bit undercooked and we had to pick which parts our son could eat. read more
This little local pizza joint was recommended to us from a friend. She mentioned it months ago and we were finally able to try it out. It is located in a little strip mall, we almost missed it at first but we found it. The parking lot is small as well but we were lucky to find a parking spot. There were a few tables inside and tables outside as well. All we heard was great pizza but you have to get the garlic rolls! The menu is pretty large for a small place, lots of different pizzas, appetizers, salads and different drinks including beer and wine. We were a party of 4 and decided to try the garlic rolls, the kale salad and 2 pizzas. The pizzas we were told were 12 inch and two were perfect for the 4 of us. The garlic rolls OMG so huge, nicely baked dough, covered in garlic and parmesan cheese and served with marina. It tasted like there were some chili flakes in there too but nothing super spicy. What I loved about these, were they garlicky yes absolutely, was it overpowering and burning absolutely not. This told me it was fresh garlic and not jar. I absolutely loved these rolls and would suggest everyone that eats here order these! The kale salad was perfect for 1 person as a meal but perfect for the 4 of us to share. It had candied pecans, raisins, pecorino cheese and Caesar dressing. I am not a huge kale fan but this salad I would order over and over again. The two pizzas were ordered were the Roni and the KBAR. The Roni was filled with pepperoni and we asked for the chilis on the side. It was yummy, perfect amount of pepperoni. I am not a chili fan so I appreciated them being able to ask for it on the side. My husband loves chilis and he mentioned the Roni with the chili on top was fantastic. The KBAR pizza had fresh mozzarella, fontina, sausage, mushrooms and garlic. I really enjoyed this one. It was unique since it had oregano and black pepper seasoned on top and was delicious. I really cannot say enough about this place. The service was great, friendly, answered any questions, gave suggestions, let us change pizza around and just overall awesome. The food was delicious, there was not one thing I did not enjoy nor order again. I would absolutely order every single item again. I heard they are opening another location near college park and I cannot wait to try that location. Try this place! Go get pizza and garlic rolls even salad, you will not be sorry! read more

I wanted to go to Pizza Bruno so bad after hearing all the hype. I finally had a special occasion to go, husband's birthday and his favorite food is pizza, so every year for that date we look for gourmet pizzas for a change of the usual chains. I have to say they didn't disappointment, I liked the pizzas, the appetizers, the service, we were seated right away, and food was there in less than 15 minutes, we were impressed, the place has a hipster vibe, music was delightful, and we enjoyed all of it. We ordered the garlic knots, thinking the pizzas were going to take a longer time to be prepared and we were hungry, however the whole ordered came in about 15 minutes. I ordered a cheese pizza for the kid, and the Ninety-two for the grownups, the 92 had Italian sausage and mushrooms plus other ingredients. The pizzas were in one size, and they were made on a brick oven that definitely gave them a special flavor. I also ordered a Coors beer that cost $2 for happy hour. We went early in the evening and the place got full fast, by the time we were leaving there was a line outside, it was raining so they couldn't use the outside seating tho and the space inside was very limited. I would definitely recommend Pizza Bruno, enjoyed the ambiance, and I want to try more of their menu. read more
I ordered online for pick up and it was quick and easy. We got to the place before our order was ready knowing that beforehand. It gave my hubby a chance to step out and pick up regular Cokes, where this spot only offers the glass bottle option. We ordered buffalo wings, 1 sausage pizza, and 1 Ninety Two pizza with soppressata. The pizza was very good with a nice and chewy crispy crust. The only thing is that I don't remember all the Parmesan that was added to my pizza and the wings so this made both items saltier than I would have liked. Service was great. read more
Free, safe parking just out front. Plus, inside and outside seating and 80s music was playing overhead with wonderful/fast service. Started with garlic knots that come with tomato sauce and covered in a buttery/oily garlic and took home a container of garlic sauce! I'm thinking of NOT watching "What we do in the shadows" it seems contrary to the spirit of the show! Next was a kale salad with pecan, raisins and latte (wanted a cider but they were all on the sweet side none dry...perhaps just one choice on the dry side?) Hubby got the cold coffee and added lots of water and he loves strong coffee but much appreciated how fast and cold/strong it was!!! We ended with a margarita pizza, wonderful crust, creamy cheese and not overdone. The only reason it is not a 5...a bit expensive (maybe $5-8 too much) and would love for them to bring back Sunday brunch choices. read more

Food: This was a good ass pizza. This is not no regular ass pizza--the Blanca pizza taste like "spring" time. Listen... I know it sounds weird, but I promise when you try it, it'll make sense! The Ninety-Two pie was amazing, too! The dough is just so light and airy but has a nice bite to it. It's one of the best doughs I've had in Orlando, honestly. All the flavors complement each other. Please don't confuse this spot with another pizza spot. Trust the pies they have on the menu. I wouldn't say I like mushrooms, but I'll eat that pie with mushrooms on it all day from them. The service: Very good service! The waitress was very helpful, polite, and very patient. We struggled to decide what to order, so she helped us by suggesting a few favs and highlighting things worth trying (garlic knots. Try them!) Ambiance: Yes! They have parking. I'm ashamed it took me this long to try Pizza Bruno. I've lived in Orlando for about a decade now and have always heard great things about Pizza Bruno but haven't made it in to see for myself until now. I can tell you, the hype is real!!! We walked in around 9pm and sat inside near the bar. Right off the bat I was in love with the place. It's smaller than I thought but had this cozy and familiar vibe. They also had Lil Wayne blasting through the speakers which I loved (I graduated in 07 so Weezy holds a special place in my heart). We ordered 2 beers and an order of their famous garlic knots to start off. Good lawwwwwd those knots are killer! I'll have a hard time not getting those when I return. We also ordered a Crimson Ghost and an Artie Bucco. I'm pretty basic so soppresata, hot honey, and onion confit aren't ingredients I usually get but both pizzas were delicious! I can't wait to have the leftovers today for lunch. We will definitely be back again. read more

Garlic knots are a must!!! They get super busy on the weekend and run out so definitely get there early. Very cute inside and outdoor seating with fast service. Has a great list of local beers and even some on tap. We had the Crimson Ghost, Viva Verde, and nonnie knows best....we loved them so much we even came back a few days later to eat it all again! My husband and I went to Pizza bruno for the first time as my husband was craving pizza. We were there at opening time and were quickly seated. They have outside seating as well and when we went, they were playing 90's music which I enjoyed. I only wish I could of enjoyed their offerings as much as the music. The server told us they are popular for their famous garlic knots which is around $15 and sauce so we went ahead and ordered that first. My husband and I originally wanted to try different pizzas but before we could put in our order, the garlic knots came and they were huge. We then decided we would do one magherita pizza which was $20. Be prepared to spend $$$ as the pizzas here are on the pricy side. The garlic knots were just an overload of garlic parm sauce. I think it was good but I did not feel they were the best garlic knots I've ever tried. The marinara dipping sauce that it came with was a bit watered down and not really flavorful. The magherita pizza took about 20 minutes to make which our server let us know that it would take a while. The pizza was about 6 slices and I felt the ingredients didn't stand out. The cheese and sauce had no taste. For $20 and the amount of time that you have to wait, I expected to be wow'ed but it was just average. I can't justify the price for that amount of pizza as well. In terms of service, the male server was for the most part friendly but did not really make eye contact with me and would only look at my husband which made me feel a bit awkward. However the lady server was so sweet and made small chat with us. Overall, I would probably not go out of my way to come back here again. read more

We were looking for a real fire cooked pizza. We found Bruno's had this. We were seated right away and the server was very friendly. We got some craft beers and they were cold. They delivered a plate of delicious looking olives. I don't like olives but my wife was in heaven. They were marinated and delicious she said. Our pizza came out soon and wow. It was cooked very good. Crispy pie with no flop. Even the crust was good. We added pepperoni to the Artie bucco pie. It was more than enough for us but we couldn't stop eating. This was our first time at the Edgewater location and we loved it. We like their curry ford location too but this is now our favorite! It's small, trendy and their pizza is GREAT ! You can't go wrong with anything you order, the service is great and the vibe is fun. We went with our kids and did Happy Hour food and a couple of pies but wanted everything on the menu. We will be back, for sure! read more

My favorite little pizza spot in Orlando. The garlic knots are amazing and have a good helping of garlic and parm. The lemon ricotta meatball appetizer is another must try. You can't go wrong with their pizzas everything is amazing. We decided to try the Dirt Nap pizza with prosciutto and it was soo worth it! It was the perfect flavorful blend. Only recommendation is to cut the prosciutto in smaller pieces as it's a little bit of a choking hazard when chewing the long strips lol. Our server was very helpful and attentive. The price is a little steep but worth it because the quality of the pizza is top notch. Everything came out fresh and warm. We came in during dinner time and didn't have to wait! Everything is good!!! Super casual pizza joint with chill staff and good customer service. Garlic knots are a MUST!!!! I'm not a garlic knot person usually but I trusted the recommendation and was super impressed! Kale salad is perfection! I have no idea how they manage to get the kale so soft. Pizza goes without saying. Pizza Bruno is located in a small plaza with a shared parking lot. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Eat-in, take out, and catering available. It is An absolute must is a visit to Bruno when in MCO. The MAIN reason for the first 3 visits here was the infamous GARLIC KNOTS. These ginormous warm buttery knots are covered in the most flavorful garlic in all mankind. You get three large knots in an order and honestly that could be your meal as it's been mine shared before. Our most recent and last visit in 2021 was to introduce our family to the knots and during this visit I found a new LOVE by way of pizza. I had a pie with no cheese and only artichoke, kale and mushroom. It was the most yummiest thin crust I've had in FOREVER . The kale was seasoned to perfection alongside the mushrooms. Only thing they are missing is sangria as they do serve wine and beer as well as cider. I Love this place We've always had great food and good service. read more

I appreciate that everything at Pizza Bruno is made in house. The garlic knots are the clear winner, but I'm not sure I can say they're worth the price (4 knots for $15). The pizza was good, but again I'm not sure the price is justified. I did appreciate that when my pizza came out of the oven with a hole in it they made me a new one. I also feel like the menu must have changed because after looking at photos from previous Yelp reviews it seems like a lot of sides are no longer offered. read more

Have heard a lot about Pizza Bruno and was excited to check it out. Being COVID times, I opted to sit out on their patio rather than inside of the restaurant. They had a couple of heaters out there, but they, unfortunately, weren't working (it was a little cool that night so it would have been nice to have). We ordered the garlic knots and oh wow. These were some of the best garlic knots I've ever had. The "knot juice" was delicious. If you are a garlic lover, then you HAVE to order this. There were four knots in the order and they were loaded with the knot juice, so I was able to keep some leftover to have with the crust of my pizza. My party split two pizzas - the Crimson Ghost and the Tight Socks. The Crimson ghost had a drizzle of hot honey that was really nice. I think my favorite of the two was the Tight Socks. It had a sauce on it that was really garlicky that I enjoyed (guess I couldn't get enough garlic). For dessert we each got something different. I got the Nutella cannoli that was really nice. My husband ordered the Oreo cheesecake which was really rich and my friend ordered the chocolate torte. I didn't get a chance to try hers, but it looked really good. The service this night was a bit off. The servers we interacted with were all really nice, but there was some confusion on who was our server at the beginning. We eventually got it sorted out. Also, they told us they would get the heaters turned on, but it never happened. Finally, we asked the hostess as we were getting seated if they were dog friendly since we are looking for places to bring our pup to. She wasn't sure and said she was going to find out, but never came back. Overall, it is a solid place to grab a meal and I would totally go back to try them again. Nothing about the experience would deter me from coming back, they probably just were having an off/busy night. read more

We had garlic knots and a margherita pizza. The garlic knots were great!! The pizza was just ok. Very little basil, three tiny pieces, and very little and dry cheese on the pizza. Would I go back? Maybe. I definitely would try a different pizza though. read more

Great pizza; way too expensive. Went with a friend today. We must've been between lunch and dinner because we were the only people there for about 30 minutes until someone else came in. Service was good; which I would expect if there are no other people there. We were seated immediately and got our drinks right away. After looking at the menu we ordered a side of meatballs and then two pizzas: the KBAR and the Blanca with prosciutto and basil. The meatballs came out after a few minutes. They were very good, especially with the lemon ricotta on the side. You only get three so we ordered an extra one. After some time the pizza came out. The KBAR was delicious and had a flavour underneath everything that I really enjoyed, even if I couldn't identify it. The Blanca had a nice fresh lemony flavour. I have no complaints about the food itself--everything was good. My biggest complaint is just the price. Neither myself or my friend must've been paying attention because when we paid, half and half, it came out to 40+ for each of us. 80 dollars for two pizzas, an appetiser, an extra meatball, and two softdrinks. Yikes. I definitely want to go back and try some of the other pizzas, like the Crimson Ghost, but it's never going to be a place I go to often because I'd never be able to afford it. 5 stars for food, 3 for price. read more

Ehh - stopped here for some pizza and wings. The restaurant was pretty empty on a week night and it was quick to get seated. The service was prompt and greeted me pretty quickly. I just had water to drink. They had some wings with some special flavor; opted for that. The wings didn't taste very good, they were deep fried but lacked any substantial flavor. The pizza was good but the wait for it was very long. Overall, won't be coming back. read more

Coming from New York, it is very hard to find good pizza here in central Florida. Finally with Pizza Bruno, I found my little piece of New York. Walking into the restaurant, I felt like j was transported to a mom and pop pizza joint. I started with their slushy sangria, which was the perfect amount of sweetness and tart! Then we got an order of knots for the table...TO DIE FOR! The garlic with the cheese with the fluffiness of the dough, was the perfect combo. I went with the Crimson Ghost Pizza. I was a little nervous about the spice level of pie but honestly the sweet honey balanced it out perfectly. Our waiter was fantastic in recommending other pies for my friends but overall I will be going back to try other pies! read more

Pizza Bruno? More like Pizza Bull**** Be careful when going here, they will up charge you for no reason!! Listed on their menu, a margarita pizza, $18, they charged me $19. Two draft beers they list $8 each? Charged me $10 each. I know this may not seem like a lot but they did it on 4 beers and our pizza! That's $9. Had I never asked for a receipt I never would have known. And then they have the audacity to have attitude when I ask for a refund. They did the same thing to my in-laws who dined with us but overcharged them over $20!!! Not to mention the fact that the pizzas took 45 minutes to cook....3 pizzas. I can't tell you the last time I've been so angry with a place that I left a review before I left the parking lot. DO NOT GO TO THIS DUMP!!!!!!!! read more

I've been dying to come here for years and finally got the chance to last night. Finally!! I've heard many great things about Pizza Bruno and my first impression was they are pretty great! I love wood fired pizza and I love that Pizza Bruno has all the classic styles to choose from and specialty pies as well. We ordered their famous garlic knots with a side of marinara. I love that they drowned the garlic knots in extra extra garlic and olive oil. They were so addicting that when we finished it, I was sad. I didn't get to say goodbye to my last bite. They were that good! I should've ordered an extra batch to go but I have a feeling that these would taste better fresh verses reheated. Oh so for the pizza.. we had a hard time deciding what to order since everything looked so appealing on the menu. We ended up ordering the Ninety-Two... it came with Italian sausage, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, oregano, red onions, chili flakes and pecorino. All the flavors went well together with the wood fired grilled dough. Did I mention that we also got a side of olives to snack on as well? Everything we had was delicious. We've definitely been looking forward to checking this place out. We have actually tried coming in on 2 separate occasions but they seem to always be packed to the brim, coming in on a weekday did the trick although they still had a good amount of parties dinning in. The service was excellent, we were sat right away and given some olives to snack on which was a great treat! I've never been offered olives at a restaurant. We ordered the Ninety-two. The pizza took about 25-30 mins to arrive (the menu does say it can take around this time on a busy night) not an issue for us though. Once it arrived we realized it hadn't been cut so the server took it back and had it sliced. Pizza was pretty good however I was expecting something a little different considering all the attention this place gets. I think the best part of our experience was the awesome playlist they had going on! I was vibing the entire time. Overall the place was just okay to me. read more

Is the Curry Ford location open for lunch?
Not currently. We are opening in a few weeks with a limited menu available on Uber then eventually in house.
Does this restaurant still not have a phone number to call for takeout? Even during Covid times?
They do have a phone number listed on thier Instagram. I just ordered pickup tonight around 6:45 for margherita mondays. They picked up right away this time, 407 240 6833
How do I order takeout? The website doesn't show an order option anymore.
Unfortunately, they no longer offer takeout on their website or any delivery services. When we want takeout, we go there, order what we want, have a drink at the bar, and wait.
Would this place work for a monthly meeting of between 6 and 15 people on a Saturday evening? Is it too noisy? Is there a back room?
They're pretty busy on Saturday evenings and honestly it's probably too loud if your meeting involves extensive conversation. Spacing is also tight - I don't think they could accommodate 15 people without advanced notice. There's no back room that…
