I was in the neighborhood today, so I could not leave without getting a couple of pizzas from Pizza Bruno to take back home. I knew I had to travel, so I went with a couple of simpler items, the Pepperoni and the Margherita. The Pepperoni had some Calabrian peppers on it, so there was a little heat. I thought the crust was fantastic, and both pies were really delicious! I am looking forward to trying their Clam Pie next time I visit. Wow! Officially my new favorite pizza place! They do not have a phone, you must go in to place an order fyi. I have visited Pizza Bruno a few times now and have NEVER been disappointed with anything I've ordered. I'd first like to give a shot-out to Carly and Max for their awesome hospitality every time I come in. Carly either works behind the bar or serving tables. She keeps a great attitude and has such awesome energy about her. Max keeps a smile on his face and gives great service to each and every customer he encounters. The entire staff works together effortlessly. You can tell the difference in the atmosphere when staff members are more like family! The chefs are always jamming out making the best pizzas, and I love that. The vibes inside Pizza Bruno are always fun. Its more on the hipster side :) They just recently started a happy hour with great specials offered everyday. When you walk in, the lighting setting is more intimate which is what I love. You can sit inside or out. I like to sit at the bar and eat my food there. The decorations all around the walls are so cute. You can tell the owner takes pride in his name and the restaurant. I have ordered a couple of different pizzas and they are made from scratch inside the fire oven. Every single ingredient is so fresh and tasty! One hell of a menu they have! The ranch is even homemade and yummy. They have their liquor license now, lots of different beers on draft and other canned drinks. The liquor selection is great btw! I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu. I recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and an awesome atmosphere! First time on Friday night and left a bit disappointed. Perhaps hearing about the Michelin shout out set my expectations unrealistically high. Place had a cool vibe. Maybe a bit loud for me, but nothing I would mark off for. I tend to like things a bit quieter but realize others like it louder. No biggie. I was really hoping to get something closer to pizza I've had on some on my travels. It wasn't bad, just not my jam. I've had crazy great pizza in Kansas City and this wasn't it. Didn't get a salad but based on what I saw at tables nearby, they looked amazing. Also the payment method was weird. Never saw an itemized bill until after we paid. This place is me and my sisters go to for pizza/wings/yummy salads. Their Margherita pizza is literally to die for. Every time you order a pizza, they cook it fresh right there for you. The lemon picatta wings are literally so amazing, and don't get me started on the wedge salad. They use fried pepperoni instead of bacon and it was so delicious. Also, our server Jack was so incredibly nice, funny and recommended so many great things. This is our 3rd or 4th time being there, and every time we have had a new waiter, and every time they have been so nice, helpful, not too pushy, and just so sweet. Kind of a hipster atmosphere, but the music was a little loud. Kind of hard to have a conversation. I had the Bianca pizza and tomato salad with fresh mozzarella. And had ricotta with lemon in it, which I wasn't crazy about, but it was still good. I enjoyed the dough too. It wasn't too thick. I am very disappointed and would NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO ORDER DELIVERY from this establishment. Me and a group of friends were here on vacation and had seen a Dave Portnoy review about this pizza. As such we were very excited to try it and ordered pizza for delivery after getting back from our day outing. We ordered the pizzas at around 7:45pm through Pizza Bruno's website. We received our pizzas at 9:00pm. I understand the wait except when we received the pizzas they were ICE COLD to the point of being almost stale. I specifically ordered through the company website in the hopes that the service would be good in regard to getting hot or at least warm pizza. Instead our pizzas were hard/cold and there was a big uber Eats sticker on the box. Through the website you also auto tip drivers, so if it's a transport issue the establishment should reevaluate that setup. I tried to call the location's number (Curry) but they did not answer as they may have closed for the day. Overall we ended up ordering from Giordano's and received hot pizza just NOT from Pizza Bruno. Now I know you've probably read a bunch of reviews that yap on and on about the garlic knots...they're all right, those suckers are totally satisfying. BUT! Do not sleep on the sheep's ricotta which comes with a loaf of fresh baked bread. Yes, a loaf. I now have become that person who orders the same thing almost every time because it truly is that good. Now the star of the menu to me is hands down, The Kale Salad. A salad that outshines a pizza?!? Yes. I said what I said. This salad is my absolute favorite. First of all it is huge. 5 bright stars for the best pizza place in Orlando! We love this place so much that they deserve an updated review. I introduced this place to the hubs and our roommate. This is everyone's favorite pizza spot. I have not had anything here that I disliked. Octopus? Delicious! Chopped salad? Delicious! Garlic knots? Bomb! Meatballs? Obsessed! We decided on the Ninety Two, which included onions, Kalamata olives, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, and Italian sausage. The flavors were solid all throughout and each slice had equal amounts and a generous portion of toppings. The Italian sausage was my favorite part, so fresh, flavorful and juicy. The mushrooms were huge! I loved that. Could have done without the olives. They added a weird saltiness that I could have done without. I liked that the pizza had a bit of a spice to it as well. I wasn't a fan of the crust, and to me the crust is was makes or breaks a pizza and separates the mediocre from the great. The crust was a bit too charred in places, and there wasn't much substance or flavor to it. The bottom was also a bit too thin. It didn't hold up to the ingredients and fell apart easily. It was also way way to soggy. I had pizza in Italy that was pretty thin but still never got soggy no matter what it was topped it. Something went wrong in the making and baking of this pie. The pizza has six small slices, perfect for sharing between two people and not feeling stuffed. We also decided on sharing a half chopped. It was bigger than I expected, so next time I'd get the mini to share between two people. The dressing on the salad was to die for! One of the best homemade Italians I've ever had. They used to give free olives as a mini appetizer, and I enjoyed munching on them, but they don't do that anymore unless you ask. Very limited draft menu. Very limited seating. The restaurant specializes in Neapolitan style pizza and the chef used to be a consultant for a popular cafe called Third Wave Cafe in New Smyrna Beach. Our party was able to grab a table without having to wait on Wednesday night and service was great. Our waitress recommended Garlic Knots because it was one of their signature dishes. *** Garlic Knots w/ Sauce (Too much garlic, pecorino, chili flake, oregano - $10): Marinara sauce lacked flavors and dough tasted just a-okay. The dish was definitely way too garlicky for my taste. Kbar Pizza (Fresh mozzarella / Italian sausage / Double garlic / Mushrooms / Rosemary / Black Pepper / Sauce swirl - $17): Again I am not a fan of their pizza dough because it just tasted pretty bland. I wasn't too crazy with their toppings and overall it really missed the 'wow' factor. Kale Salad (Golden raisins, candied pecans, pizza crumb, Emperors Dressing, pecorino - $10 for half size): It was hands down one of the better kale salad I have had. At the time we arrived, no wait, the outside area, which is covered by pergola was booked for an event, so we had to sit inside. Everyone was wearing mask, they are required, but tables are not distanced. We kept our masks on until our food arrived. Ryan was our server, we advised it was our 1st time, he immediately explained the menu, the cooking process of the pizza and recommended some apps and pizzas. We took him up on everything. We ordered two Mexican cokes, garlic knots, one classic original pizza which has fresh mozzarella, caciocavallo (a cheese), parmesan, oregano, garlic, added Italian sausage. One KBAR pizza which has fresh mozzarella, fontina, Italian sausage, mushrooms, double garlic, rosemary, sauce swirl, black pepper, but I asked for no sausage. My goodness this food was good. The garlic knots are a MUST. They are huge, super duper garlicky. The marinara dipping sauce was good, fresh tasting, simple and yummy. I asked, he said it is simply good tomatoes and salt. Soo good. I am not ashamed to admit that I asked for two small containers to take the remaining sauce and extra garlic home. The pizzas are made in a wood oven, the edges and crust are crispy, with little burnt parts that add texture to the flavors. The classic original, the added sausage, tasty, sausage had a great fennel taste. The Kbar was creamy, courtesy of that cheese, the veggies were wonderful, especially the mushrooms. I have not had any type of soda in over a year, so that Mexican coke was like a drug. We drove 40 minutes to get here. A bachelor group of seven looking to nom nom after a long day outdoors. Pizza Bruno did not disappoint this Italian boy. Three things to know: 1. They don't have a phone. No phone orders, no call aheads, no fuss. 2. Negronis on tap. One of my all-time favorite cocktails, ON TAP. To be honest, I'm usually a little skeptical of cocktails on tap. However, since the components of a Negroni are all booze-based, this actually makes complete sense. I don't want to admit how many were consumed. 3. I've thought about it for the last five days, and I can't think of a superior garlic knot. On the menu, "too much garlic" is stated loud and proud. I wasn't expecting a total garlic bomb layered on top of hot, gooey bread. The flavor of food is subjective and I wholeheartedly believe that, but you cray if you don't get down with these! On top of all of that, there's pizza: Crimson Ghost - Delicious balance of sweet and heat. Calabrian chiles bring the kick and the hot honey sugars it up. Add the distinctively meaty Soppressata and you've entered the gates of heaven. Clam Pie - It's a unicorn sighting when you find the famous New Haven, Connecticut pie on a menu. My suggestion is to squirt the entire lemon wedge all over the pizza. It brings out the richness of the cheese and the saltiness of the clams. Hard to tell if the clams were fresh or not, but it didn't matter. Of course we ate dessert. Lemon Cannoli and Nutella Cannoli. I was so stuffed I could only have a single bite from the latter. Finally did it! I ordered the infamous Pizza Bruno. It was later in the night and we were looking for something quick, but yummy. We had heard awhile about this must try spot and let me tell you it did not disappoint! I choose the tomato pie, being from jersey something I miss pretty often. It was cooked to perfection with chopped garlic to make all the flavors come perfectly together. My partner got the Blanca, which he also seemed to enjoy. We ate them both as a single pie, they are pretty small and can probably serve 1-2 people depending on how hungry you are. Let's just say, I was not sharing mine! They are reasonably priced for what you are getting, I only deducted a star for wait time. We placed a pick up order and ended up waiting an addition 30 minutes to when it was expected to be ready. Stopped in for dinner recently while on vacation. Simple parking in their lot, arrived early for dinner and didn't have any wait. Location has several indoor and several outdoor patio tables. We started off with the garlic knots, 4 large fluffy/doughy balls covered as described in garlic and butter. The tomato sauce that comes with the garlic knots is so fresh and flavorful, complements them perfectly. We ordered 6 buffalo wings which were okay, but not crispy and the sauce is quite salty, likely doesn't need the parmesan cheese on top - I would suggest ordering them without the cheese. The chopped salad is very fresh with a nicely seasoned vinaigrette dressing, very few olives and sliced veggies on a base of mixed greens and romaine. The pizza was large enough to share and we went classic with half cheese and half pepperoni. They are generous with the cup and char pepperoni. Staff was attentive, helpful, and pleasant. Prices are reasonable. We would highly recommend stopping in and we will be back. They have a great take-out set up with a separate entrance making it less chaotic during busy times. read more

We came on a friday night and the atmosphere was so nice! We ended up sitting at the bar and we're greeted by the bartender. She was nice and friendly, but she lacked quality customer service. When we asked her if she had any seltzers she didn't know and she didn't want to offer me any recommendations, such as like ciders or something else which is fine not a big deal. We ordered the wings and garlic knots to start and the garlic knots were SO DELICIOUS! Best part of the night for sure. The wings were cold, but so deceiving because they looked amazing. We heard amazing reviews from friends about the pizza because we love spicy pizza, but to us the cheese slid off and the the pizza was so burnt, super disappointing. Their pizzas are pretty small. I can eat an entire pizza myself. But I can eat more than most people. We got a (KBAR- Fresh Mozzarella, Fontina, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, Double Garlic, Rosemary, Sauce Swirl, Black Pepper $23) , (CRIMSON GHOST- Fresh Mozzarella, Soppressata, Basil, Mike's Hot Honey $20), (MARGHERITA-Basil, Fresh Mozzarella, Parmesan, Evoo, Grana Padano $18). I liked the pizzas but they didnt blow me away like I wanted them too. My favorite of the three was the kbar. A few of us had a drink or two and our bill was around $150! Also they say they take up to 40 minutes to make these pizzas. They claim its because they stretch the dough for each pizza. Well maybe they shouldnt do that because ive had neopolitan pizza that was made in less than 10 minutes and tastes better. Our pizzas did take a long time. Im pretty tough on pizza reviews but its because I love it so much and I have had the best of the best. Update: The owner contacted me immediately after I reached out and rectified the situation as well as removed the incorrect and outdated "special" from their website. This goes a long with me and I appreciate the desire to make things right. Ordered to go and ordered a "special" advertised on their website for a salad, pizza, and box of house made Italian cookies. Sounded pretty awesome! When I went to pick it up I asked about my cookies and was told it comes with a cannoli?! Well that was a huge disappointment and considering no one called to tell me this ahead of time and of course I prepaid, I was not very happy. They were busy and there were people behind me so I didn't want to make it a big deal, However when I came come and looked at the individual prices of everything it wasn't a special at all, and considering I didn't want a cannoli I could have saved myself $7. I tried to call a few times to talk to a manager the next day to see what their response was but no one ever answered the phone. Unfortunately I have to leave a review in the hopes that no one else decides to buy the "special" because most of their pizzas are less than the one I bought so you wouldn't be getting a good deal at all. After seeing Pizza Bruno listed as Visit Orlando's #1 pizza in Orlando, I knew I had to check it out. Needless to say, it didn't disappoint! It's a very fun atmosphere. Inside may be dimly lit, but the energy is fantastic. Solid service. I've seen other yelpers express displeasure with the service, but no knocks there on my end. I was with a group so I got to try a plethora of menu items. Starting with the garlic knots, those are spectacular. Really nice crunchy exterior with a fluffy interior, all topped off with a delicious garlic topping and side of marinara. Winner for sure! Something I appreciate is they label vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. The pizzas here are roughly 12", and they are relatively light. I ordered the Viva Verde, which is a vegan pizza loaded with all sorts of veggies. Really nice flavor profile. Fresh tasting ingredients and they complemented each other nicely. It was my favorite pizza of the night! The others I tried were The Dude and Margherita, which are both vegetarian. The Dude was a really nice 4 cheese pizza. Didn't taste overly fatty or oily. The Margherita was my least favorite, but still solid. Nothing really jumped out at me flavor wise. Where Pizza Bruno loses a star for me is the crust and structural integrity of the pizza. It was definitely cooked through, but it was a very floppy bite. The crust was pliable and to eat a slice it had to be folded. Some may like this style, but it's not my preference. Sent back garlic knots because they were cold and the kind waitress offered to bring us new ones. They also came out cold. The wings were grossly undercooked. The pizzas were cold. First time here. A solid 4 on this day. 12 inch pizza, only. On this day, they had no meat ball and a few other things. Limited menu during this time. They were doing a reno on this trip also. So no indoor dining. They met me at the curb and took my order. OK, now the food. The regular cheese pizza was very good. I would have loved to have tried the meatball or the mushroom and sausage but wanted to try the regular first. Glad I did it that way. Now I can come back for another try. The service. The service was good. A young lady met me outside at the door. She was helpful. Told me what they had and didn't have. They don't have sangawiches. What? A nice meatball or chicken sangawich was what I really wanted. I should have looked at the menu on line before I went there. Another waiter asked if I wanted some water or something to drink while I waited? He brought me a cup of cold water. Nice touch. I think I need to give them another try, later on.
