The mix of yellow and red beets with the citrus vinaigrette was light, bright, and balanced beautifully with the creamy ricotta. Even though the place was busy, the service was great. Our server was attentive and consistently checked in to make sure everything was going well. The decor has such a nostalgic feel -- it reminded me of growing up surrounded by vintage photos and memorabilia. Overall, a really solid spot for great pizza, good vibes, and attentive service. Having had Margarita pizza in Naples & Rome, this is radically different than the item made where it was invented. Disappointing but not unexpected. However, it was what happened later that resulted in this low rating. I authorized the purchase via my iPhone and had the amount I authorized verbally verified. However, they later added a 17% tip which I did not authorize. The amount is small, but the dishonesty is truly irritating. We'll certainly never deal with them again. If you do, make sure to get a written receipt, which they do not seem to offer by default. EDIT: After my posting here, the company to their credit has issued a refund. More importantly, however, they've changed their policies to avoid this kind of thing happening in the future. That is appreciated and will definitely earn them another shot. Thank you!

I will be going back to try all the other pies (and there are many). You can probably eat there every day and not have the same thing for a month. My next selection will be one of the Detroit style pies. They looked delicious. Finally, a great pizzeria in Westchester. We've been deprived of a top quality version of this popular "American" staple for far too long. They also have calzones, pinwheels, garlic knots, and zeppolis. You can also order pies and slices in advance for pick-up and to take-out. If you're in the area, check this place out!

While the pizzas were fine, I found what appeared to be a metal bolt in the pasta, which is completely unacceptable and concerning. When I called to report it, the manager asked for photos, which I provided. However, instead of taking accountability, he initially denied that the object could have come from their restaurant and even suggested I dispute the charge with my bank rather than resolving it directly. After I pushed for a reasonable solution, he agreed to refund just the pasta. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting on that refund. The lack of accountability and poor customer service speaks volumes. Situations like this should be handled with urgency, care, and professionalism, none of which were demonstrated. Really disappointing experience.

I had a chicken, red onion, tomato slice that albeit fresh was somehow bland. I don't know what happened to the flavor but even the nice amount of cheese wasn't saving it. The husband had a bbq chicken slice that was alright but nothing to write home about. He said it was dry. I think that after it is reheated, it would help if fresh bbq sauce was put on top. Even though the chx bacon ranch was good I think the same idea would apply here too and I've seen that done in other pizzerias. Fresh sauce added when it comes out of a hot oven. All in all, 50% of our order was underwhelming and the other 50% was satisfying. If I return, I will definitely choose different slices than we had or repeat the chx bacon ranch one. It was good.
