I've eaten here a few times. The pizza is delicious. I decided to place an order for delivery. I put specific instructions to call or text when in the lobby because my bell doesn't work. Well the old guy called mumbling about how long he had to wait to get in. Ummm, if you had read the instructions, you would have known what to do. Don't send an old grumpy man to deliver food. Now, the food, my daughter enjoyed her Chicken Caesar salad. My chicken parmigiana wedge lacked flavor. Too much sauce and not enough cheese. In addition, the chicken was cut into thin strips. Ordered my 16 inch well done and they cooked it perfect. Perfect crisp, no flop, good ingredients, good taste. Super hot out of the oven. It burned the roof of my mouth which is what I like. I prefer this place over gemelli's down the road. Nice employees, and I'm surprised more people don't know about this place. Be careful when you're ordering through door dash since neither one of them is truthful about their prices. The manager argued with me on the phone until he became irate and made me looking like a jack ass. I'll never make the mistake of ordering from Alfredo's again. The Chicken Frances was flavorless made and was not even prepared properly. I deserve a comp but I just won't order from them again. read more

When you have a staff working hard to prepare to help with opening a new store location, the best reward is buy lunch. That's exactly what I tried to do when I ordered from "Alfredo's Pizza Cafe" in New Rochelle. The first issue I had was trying to order. I called and no one picked up. I started to look for another Pizzeria, when someone called my phone back. Now, I don't know how often this happens, but they called me back and asked was I trying to order pizza. It was a bit funny, put I proceeded with my order. It was great they took payment over the phone and even better they accept American Express (don't leave home without it). The price was better than in the city, so I was happy about that. They told me thirty minutes and they were on target. The pizza came hot and ready. Only problem was they didn't bring plates. The delivery guy left and came back with plates so we could eat. After he left, one of the employees mentioned they eat there a lot and they always give one free soda after a certain amount. I was well over that price so why didn't I get a soda? My employee left and spoke to them and came back with our free soda. So all was right....right? Well, for us who have never tried this pizza before, we weren't impressed. The meat on the pizza was a bit chewy and the crust was hard. It wasn't my favorite, however it wasn't my worst either. The staff that ate there regularly, loved it. We were fifty, fifty. I guess it's really a coin toss if you go or not. But take my advice, if you love Brooklyn, pizza maybe this place isn't for you. Great food. Ordered shrimp fra diavolo. I hope I spelled it right. Amazing! Just the the right amount of spice. A healthy amount of shrimp. Although there were only a couple they staff served us, although with paper and plastic utensils...lol! The place is nothing's fancy but the food was great. Alfredos has been my go to for years! The size of the portions for the money you pay is amazing!! Ordered chicken Francese with francese sauce on the linguini, and they followed notes perfect! The entree was absolutely delicious! Huge portion and absolutely tasty!! Garlic bread, not so great. Was kinda hard and tasted like it had the seasoning of baked clams on top. Also, mozzarella sticks had a really weird nude color and were hard and not too tasty. Will put em in the toaster later and hope they're a little better. Will continue ordering here! As you may or may not know alfredos has moved from division to north avenue in new rochelle. I must say I am pretty glad they did. They are close by my job so I find myself in there at least twice a week. The simple cheese slice is soo yummy reminds me of my childhood when things were simple yet good.
