Never again! We tried to order today my wife and I got confused on what we were going to order and we asked the lady to hold on for a minute. At the same time the lady on the phone asked what kind of dressing on the side salad. It took us 5 seconds to decide and then the lady started talking sarcastically because we didn't answer her side salad question. She had a tone like she was upset because we accidentally skipped her question So I said let's cancel the order and we'll call back another time. I was hung up on. So I called back and explained that she was very rude and any attitude comes across strong over the phone. I said I give them good reviews and we order from them all the time, this is not a good customer service. She said this is how she talks to people all the time and it's funny that I think that way. She was saying this with that sarcastic voice again. She also said that I hung up on her which I didn't and she just said goodbye and hung up on me. We really enjoyed their food but I don't like to be disrespected like that. I definitely don't want someone disrespecting my wife. So we will no longer be spending our money there anymore. I also ordered it the time I visited this place and it was truly great. I really love the crust, toppings, and their awesome pizza sauce. Everything is great! They also have chicken wings, burgers, sandwiches, and other. Their menu is really huge. You can absolutely find anything you want here in Pizza Cucina, all the flavors you want for a pizza, affordable comfort foods, and even desserts. This place really deserves a 5-star rating. Pizza Cucina is also accessible, its location is easy to find, and the whole place is huge. Their parking lot is big and can easily park a car and go. Their exterior is interesting it is simple but the vibe is nice. Also the interior, relaxing and bright. Such a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy. One of the best restaurants in town! I wanted to believe the reviews were true, I wanted this to be something more than your standard lowbrow stale ingredient pizzas you find around colleges and well, Oswego. Sadly, it was a disappointment. The pizza was just meh, Now I'm not saying it was awful, you could eat it, but there was no flavor, the sauce was too acidic and way too much making it overpower all the ingredients, the cheese tasted processed, and the toppings, first barely there, and secondly did not taste fresh. The dough, thin crust but wasn't cooked at a high enough temperature so it got chewy and bland. The wings on the other hand... pretty good actually. Very crispy and great spice. If they took more time with flavoring their pizza the way they do the wings, they might be able to salvage something. It just, doesn't seem that they care about the pizza craft and are just there to be there and the results mediocre at best. I really don't think I'll be back, at least if it is my decision. read more

After waiting an hour and a half and not receiving my food we called and they told us they delivered our food to a person on the sidewalk, then began to backpeddle and say it was a man at my door. My next door neighbor is an elderly women and I assure you they didn't come to my door. Call to check on proof of refund that they said they would text us and were told the person they gave the food too verified our order and they will not give me a refund.. I call again they answer the call unknowingly and in the background state they will be blocking my number. Completely unprofessional and they've stolen money from me. I read a few reviews sayibg the service wasnt good but the food was. I cab only go by my owb experience where the service was top notch. They actually helped carry my togo order to the car. I asked alot of questions on how the food was made on the phone before i ordered and they were all answered. We got lasagna, manicotti, gnocci, breaded beef sandwich and pizza. Everything was excellent on flavor and portion size. Lots of cheese, wonderful marinara, perfectly cooked pasta and pizza. We have a new italian spot for the future. Pricing was just right. I was very excited to try this restaurant based on all of the high ratings on yelp so I ordered a man extra large double dough cheese pizza. When I went to pick it up I noticed the decor displayed a Stanaslulaus #10 can in the lobby area and instantly thought that this pizza was going to rock. For the most part, pizza is pizza. You can get it anywhere and more often than not, it's pretty good. I love pizza, so I'm admittedly not too picky on where it comes from. However, pizza from Pizza Cucina is different and that makes it stand out from the others. There is something about the sauce that sets it apart. My personal favorite is their stuffed pizza (there's more wonderful sauce!), but you can't go wrong with their thin crust or double-dough. My wife and I don't agree a whole lot on food choices, but this is by far our favorite pizza in the area. I can't really speak to their other food as I've never had anything else (and never plan to), but if their pizza is any indication on how their other food is, it's probably pretty good. Came here based on all the positive reviews I read on Yelp and overall I left very satisfied. They have a small "seat yourself" dining area with paper menus on each table. Our server was also the person running the counter, so she was very busy and not as accessible as you would expect, but still did a heck of a job. Ordered a large thin crust with sausage and black olives and an order of breadsticks. The pizza was full of flavor and the crust was very crisp. Their breadsticks were flat, but also full of flavor and there at least 8 with the order. The best part is that on Wednesdays they have a special where they take 40% off any pizza ordered. Even without the Wednesday discount, the prices are pretty generous and the portions are exceptional. I look forward to coming back. read more

Ok, so I was looking for a good pizza place and ran across this on yelp, saw only 8 reviews and 5 full stars. My first thought was that these were some nice employee reviews to build up the business (being the skeptic that I am) and decided to order to either bash the business on writing their own reviews for being marginal at best or praise them along with the others. As you can see I chose to praise. This is some of the best pizza I have eaten in Chicago and I grew up here. For a short period of time I even worked for a local pizza place that was voted #1 in its area by reviewers. So I can safely say I know what good pizza places do. I have to say this one hits on all cylinders. First time I ordered I got a BBQ trio, which is called an S.O.B. at the more chain pizza places. I ordered with the double crust (not quite pan, not quite thin) and me and my wife loved it. Even reheated well, which you won't find with pizza places that use cheap ingredients. The price was nothing unusual or noticeably high, and it was really an excellent pizza. Within a week I ordered again, this time a chicken alfredo pizza (having trouble with regular pizza sauce, must be getting old) and it was equally as good. The food here was really good! We got the stuffed pizza (which had TONS of cheese) and the gluten free pizza. The gluten free pizza only comes in medium and has about a $6 up charge but it is phenomenal! Definitely the best I've ever eaten!
