This is the worst pizza we've ever recieved. Literally slathered on the smallest amount of pizza sauce as possible that half the pizza was just dried crust. Went there and place was half empty. They told us it would be 30 mins for a table. We turned around and walked out.

Our pizza just arrived. Waited 1.5 hrs for it AND the pizza was COLD. Thats unacceptable. Probably the last time we order from there. I don't understand what's happening but DO NOT order delivery from there. $40 for a COLD pizza. They should be embarrassed. read more

just paid 88.00 for 2 pizzas we picked up- worse pizza ever - the deep dish pizza crust was so burnt you could hardly eat it, the kids asked to have it cut off. Terrible service. Been to multiple Giordano's around the Chicago land area and this establishment is by far the worst one we have been too. I highly DO NOT recommend to eat here. -food undercooked, meat was pink when specifically asked for it to be well done. -waitress did not pay any attention to us. Literally.. ZERO. We had to ask a different waiter to get more drinks. -breadsticks were undercooked. I find myself going here less and less. I just went t last night after a month of not going here. The thin pizzas seem like they are using a dough that is over fermented and there are bubbles spots instead of cheese and sauce. It seems like people making the pizza are more about socializing than working. I don't mind paying 25 dollars for a large pizza if the pizza is made right. read more

2.5 stars. I haven't had Giordano's in ages and always been a Giordano's fan. We came here for dinner. We had the brushchetta (okay didn't have much of any basil and huge slices of mozzarella needed more acidity) and fried calamari/veggie appetizer (weird it even had fried slices of lemon too; the fried banana peppers were tasty) and one stuffed Chicago classic (decent). The service was really slow like a turtle and the hare story, I believe they were really short staffed. Our waitress covered two rooms that one night we were there and we even had the hostess serve us our food to and bring our check. Went in on a date with my girlfriend and was delighted with the food. The Giordano's sampler and The deep dish was made perfectly although the meet was a tad under cooked and still pink. It was good tho! My biggest concern is the way the waitress treated us. Me and my girlfriend noticed how the waitress payed zero attention to us and did not cater our needs. We noticed how she went to every table to ask how they were doing and refilled there drinks but she never came over to us. We felt discriminated. read more

We came here on Valentine's Day, easy to get in and get a table... our pizza took long but we got told it would so we were fine.. when it arrived, they bring the wrong pizza so they leave a dip dish when we ordered a thin crust, we had to wait an other 20 min for a pizza, when it came it was undercook. For my 99th and 100th review I will be reviewing the two biggest rivals in Chicago history. Giordano's Vs. Lou Malnati's. This is review 99. So I'm sure you know whose team I'm on considering.... Being a Chicago native, I was raised to make a decision in baseball as well as pizza. It's a hard life, but luckily I made the right choices. That being said, Giordano's you're no match against Lou's but you're still pretty damn good compared to anything else (other than Lou's) when it comes to pizza. Again, nothing against the quality of this fine pizza pie, it's just a preference I have when it comes to my deep dish and you just don't fit the par. This restaurant is okay. The servers kinda have an attitude, which they can go ahead and drop. But most places in the Oswego area have this teenage angsty attitude about them. It's clean, and never over busy. It's more expensive than Lou's which is a couple blocks from here. I wouldn't never say no to you Giordano's but you are never my first pick. read more

This was a first time visit for me, with friends, some from out of town. The comment of the evening was 'That's a mighty good pizza!' We tried the mozzarella sticks, mushrooms and zucchini, which were tasty if you like fried foods. I ordered a caprese salad also. The tomatoes were a little pale in color but the flavor was good. The deep dish pizza is one of a kind...and tasty! It did take about 35-45 minutes and we ordered as soon as we got in the door. Since we had little kids with us, that was a bit long. Manager Danny was wonderful through the process of selecting a bar and meal plan and was very transparent about the pricing for a smaller group. Given the emotional nature of the gathering, we requested a private room even though we were below the minimum required. Danny advised me of the minimum cost based on our group size. The day of the funeral, I realized we were running ahead of schedule. I called and the restaurant was able to accommodate both an early arrival time and my guests that needed gluten free options. We went to Giordano's for some late night pizza with the family. Right away we notice that they have redone the restaurant. The updates looked so nice and bright. Service was quick and drinks refilled frequently. We had a slight issue and mentioned it to our server (I feel bad I don't remember her name!). She was on it right away and grabbed the manager even though I told her it was fine. Anna the Manager came over quickly and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help out. I was floored by their generous attention. I completely understand things happen and will absolutely be back. Could not appreciate the service enough! read more

POSITIVES: Our appetizer and kids' meals came out promptly. Also, the pizza had great taste, and was fantastic Chicago deep-dish. NEGATIVES: now for the fun part. Where to start? After an hour had passed, we asked about the 2 medium pizzas we ordered and the waitress said it will be out soon. Yet after another grueling 15 minutes, it arrived at our table, and the pizza was no longer hot. Did they forget about it sitting on the counter or something? I understand that pizzas can take a while, especially during a busy time of day, but we were there at 11am, and there was only one other family in the restaurant besides us at the time. By 12pm, tables were filling, and food was already being brought out to others. When the pizzas were finally brought to us at 12:30, we asked the waitress if she'd be willing to do a favor, and she rolled her eyes. We simply wanted a picture of our family for the first experience having Chicago deep dish... At this point, I was about ready to ask for someone else to take the picture, but I ignored it. Moral of the story: Giordano's pizza tastes good, but is it worth the poor service and experience? Not likely. Do they even care about serving their customers? Way to make a first impression. I will not be visiting this location in the future, and considering the past reviews of problems, we will report this location to their corporate. read more

I love Giordano's. I had their deep dish at different locations but it was my first time ordering from one from Oswego. I ordered it for pick up. I didn't get a confirmation email after ordering online so I called the restaurant. The lady put me on a hold for 5 minutes for nothing. I've added extra stuffs like red peppers and plates but they forgot about it. The pizza came uncut even though I didn't request it. The cheese was hard and pizza was cold... Very disappointing. I don't know how they only have 3 stars. The pizza is great and the service is beyond average. The only reason they are not getting s five star rating is because some how I am not in their delivery area. It doesn't make sense because we are not that far and other areas of their delivery area are further. I come in to pick up pizza often and if there is a wait they will offer your a drink at their bar. I have never asked for alcohol but they have always been Accommodating and welcoming.
