I live right up the hill from pizza etc and I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Admittedly, I only get 1 thing off their menu but they do that 1 thing SO well: meat lover's calzone sans hamburger. The calzone is a HUGE portion and it lasts me like 2-3 meals depending on how hungry I am. When you cut the calzone in half, there's like an inch of all meat. And it's just meat and cheese. The marinara sauce comes separately which I actually prefer anyways because it doesn't make the calzone soggy for when I eat it later. This place has the best chicken parm and Italian subs in the area.. I only had the pizza once and I think it was pretty good. This is the best pizza I've had in Brighton, and I've had pizza from almost everywhere in Brighton. Thin crust, tasty sauce, and a pretty good range of toppings. Other pluses: the decor's nicer than your average fluorescent-lit pizza and sub shop and under the side order section of the menu they offer a half pound and a full pound portion of steak tips. I'll probably never get a side of steak tips, but I think it's hysterical that they sell them as a side. read more

this sub-joint has been a staple of mine for years. it's really their "etc." that makes them great. not a big fan of their pizza, but their subs are all great, and i like the variety of their cookie selection. i recommend the chicken kabob, chicken cutlet, and steak bomb subs. the place improved its real estate by moving across the street a few months ago. big screen tv = better interior. read more

This is a great pizza shop with other fantastic goodies. Try the garlic bread with cheese, it is loaded up with a massive ammount cheese and it is big. Get it with a side of maranara sauce. Okay i'd give them 3 stars for overall quality but they get an extra one cause they're so damn cheap! While their wings will never win any awards they're my staple wing joint when i'm low on the fundage. 20 wings for $12! Pizza's definitely decent as well. It's 12:30am, I've got 6 nurses and myself all randomly craving pizza. I call the first three places that are still open and they say it's too late/too far/whatever to deliver. And then I called Pizza Etc. in Allston. The owner, George, not only took the order but asked if it was ok for us to wait about an hour so he could close shop and he would personally deliver them!!! First of all they are open until 1 AM on Friday nights. So if you come home from work, and take your time doing whatever you put off during the week, and then realize it is 10:30 pm and you need to eat something... this place has you covered. The super beef hot sandwich is good. It is not really that hot. But I like it. It does come with a lot of roast beef as you would expect. Get it with lettuce, onions, pickles, peppers, provolone, etc. and you won't be disappointed. The BBQ sauce is unique too. Get it on the side. The greek salad with chicken and house dressing is also good. I got a good vibe from the people who run the place too. Pretty quick service, she brought our food out on a tray, with plastic utensils. Very casual place, but there is something authentic about it. And you can catch the Celtics on TV. read more

I literally love this place. Even when I'm blackout drunk they manage to understand me on the phone, deliver my pizza before I pass out, AND it's bomb. The pizza isn't greasy and gross so you can eat without making a fool of yourself, unlike most places open late. However, the steak and cheese could use some work. It just tastes like....fake steak. Sup pizza etc...... Not sure if it's because they added me on Facebook or because it has an awesome chicken parm sub, Pizza Etc. is easily my favorite sub shop in the Brighton/Allston area. They have an awesome menu with good portions at very reasonable prices. My friends and I usually get delivery from here once a week and it is super quick. I have high standards with my buffallo chicken subs, and Pizza Etc. deff puts the love into making them their crispy tenders and hot wing sauce. Amazing read more

Definitely the best pizza in Oak Square and arguably the best pizza in Brighton (I'm a big Sabatino's fan as well). I've ordered from this place for pick up/delivery many, many times and have never had any sort of problem. If you're a pizza fan try out their bacon pizza...it's a generous amount of chopped bacon and always super good. Their steak tip dinner plate is fantastic and generous for the $ as well. They have great salads (try the antipasto or house salad) if you're not a huge meat fan too. I'm glad they were able to expand from their old location also. I was in the area on business my client brought back Chicken Caesar salads for us. It wasn't the most authentic Caesar, but it was the best I've had in recent memory. Great dressing, fresh greens, crunchy croutons, and deliciously plentiful grilled chicken. I never crave salads, but if I lived in the area, I'd be hitting Pizza Etc. at least once a week. I can only imagine how good their other offerings are if something as pedestrian as a Chicken Caesar was this good. read more

Ordered from there tonight intending to get pizza, but was wooed but the fact they offer gyros... And were willing to switch out the lamb/beef for chicken. I really enjoyed it, the chicken was pretty good quality and the veggies were fresh. Good tzatziki as well. And steak fries! They have steak fries. Yum. Was very disappointed at the lack of customer service, food quality and price. We ordered at middle Pizza, salad, mozzarella sticks and hot wings and it was over $40. The mozzarella sticks were hot, the salad was OK and the pizza was average tasting. The wings were good so they deserve one star for that. read more

I love Pizza Etc! Great pizzas at a reasonable price! The super veggie is really good! Large chunks of veggies and fabulous sauce! I live within walking distance so I have never taken advantage of their delivery service, but my pick up order never takes more than 15 minutes. I would not recommend their subs, though. I just moved to Oak Square and I'm SO glad this place is here. I normally use Yelp for bad reviews but I had to support my local pizza shop. It seems to be family owned unless I'm mistaken. Cheesesteak was the closest thing I've had to an authentic Philly cheesesteak in all of MA. Delivery was FAST- we had our food about 30 mins after ordering. Pizza etc is a solid pizza place. Good pizza and subs with free delivery in Brighton. I usually go for a pepperoni or buffalo chicken pizza. There are so many pizza places in Brighton but this one is without a doubt my favorite! It's reasonably priced, the pizza is great (love what they do with mushrooms), and everyone who works there is nice and professional. I've had a hard time finding pizza I absolutely enjoy here in Boston. There are places like Upper Crust which are phenomenal, however, their prices are what I greatly dislike. Pizza etc has great tasting pizza for a cheap price. I split a small vegetarian pizza with a friend. The large chunks of vegetables were a pleasant surprise, unlike the shreds of vegetables that are often found on pizzas. The pie itself was thin with a large, melt in your mouth kind of crust. Loved it. I also had a salad. They are your regular run of the mill salads. The place itself is small, yet clean, cute and enjoyable. You order first, then you can dine in and your food is brought to you within a short period of time. Great place for a quick, tasty bite on a weekend afternoon! read more

My friend and I used to come here after work in the summer, we'd split a large fry and be amazed at the amount left over when we're full, aside from that they have great burgers too! Price is reasonable for "some" items, sometimes their shorthanded so buisness might be a bit sluggish, but its a must have if you're an appitizer wh0re. =) read more
