Check out 'The Bird' pizza in Oct and Nov- it goes away after Thanksgiving. It includes turkey and all the fixings-leftovers reheat well in my air fryer. When I was asked to bring calzones to a Super Bowl party, I knew exactly where I was going. No question. BUT...one problem, Gigi's is closed on Sundays. Sure I could have gotten them Saturday, but there's just something about a fresh hot calzone day of that just hits. Well...the owners of Gigi's made the brilliant decision to open for limited hours/limited menu for Super Bowl Sunday and it was the best decision ever. Now I didn't need to get calzone elsewhere that I wouldn't have been happy with. EVERYONE commented how good the steak and cheese calzone was at the party and asked where it was from. I'll start my review of Gigi's Pizza Company by saying I'm a thin crust pizza lover. Their pizza crust is between a thin crust & Chicago thick crust. It's crunchy and eats like a thin crust pizza. Their pizza is F.A.N.T.A.S.T.I.C.! ! The staff is friendly, their salad ingredients are all fresh from the lettuce to the cucumbers to the bell peppers, and their pizza ingredients are great quality. I highly recommend Gigi's for their pizza & salad. We had placed an order online for delivery this past Saturday. The food was ok, probably would have been better if it was actually hot when we got it. After waiting an hour and a half for the delivery that still hadn't showed up, I called Gigi's and was informed that our delivery just went out a few minutes ago.... We waited another 30 mins for our food. 2 hours total for a business that was a 4 min drive from where it was being delivered. My Husband and Sons are very picky when it comes to Pizza. Since discovering Gigi's, they have become our go to! It's hard to find delivery that arrives perfect every time, and they nail it. Absolute WORST pizza I have ever ordered! The food was ICE COLD like it was just taken out of the fridge. There were barely any toppings on the pizza and when I picked up the slide the whole piece of toppings and cheese slid off leaving just dough and sauce and even then the inside of the pizza was cold. Best needed braided sub rolls only thing is they charge like $20 for a sub that's not even a large. It's a one size sub so that means there's no small or large, just what they give you but it's not worth $20 .that's egregious at best!!!. They need to do better on pricing or offer more food or at least some fries with that sub if it's going to be $20!!!! read more

I ordered a Special gourmet pizza and asked for them to not overcook/burn the pizza. When I went to pick up my pizza, the cashier/owner (?) made sure to tell me that they took extra care in making my pizza. I was glad to see they cared enough to let me know. As I picked up my pizza box, I immediately noticed that it weighed like a ton of bricks. I've never picked up a pizza that felt that heavy before. It left a memorable impression on me. When I got home and opened the box, I noticed how big and generous the toppings were which explained why it was so heavy! I quickly ate two slices and tasted mainly the toppings, not really the cheese and the crust. I'm not too sure what kind of cheese is used? It seemed different and a friend of mine later mentioned that it's a different type of cheese used for Greek pizza. So, I decided to just eat the crust and found it quite delicious on it's own. Two slices later, I feel sick to my stomach. I ate too much. Normally, I can easily eat three slices of Italian style gourmet pizza. So, I thought this pizza was similar but it's definitely something very different. I prefer Italian style pizza which are a bit lighter. My daughter also found the pizza too filling and could barely finish one slice herself. I ended up freezing the rest of the pizza, and I've been slowly eating up one slice for lunches. It's two weeks later, and I still have two slices left to go! It's too rich and filling for me. read more
