Disappointing. Before we moved to Oakhurst, the North Fork Pizza Factory was our closest option and they rarely ever disappointed. This location is clearly a separately owned franchise, and the quality is lacking. The first two times we ordered here, my partner went to pick up. Both times he returned stating that the staff were rude, sarcastic, even mocking when he asked for a side of pizza sauce vs bolognese (I'm vegetarian so that's important!). I had him bring me a Caesar salad once, which are usually made with fresh chopped romaine. The last one was soggy, sad ice berg lettuce (ew). The attitudes are just off-putting here, and the food 100% matches that attitude. We tried again tonight... and 3 times was not the charm. This time I called it in, and asked for a simple addition of jalapeños on top of our cheesy breadsticks. Who knew that could be such a complicated addition! I was met with a "no, but we can give you a side of jalapeños." I'm good, thanks...? It seems petty for me to be this annoyed about it, yet how petty is it that they couldn't just put them on top. Our North Fork people didn't seem to have a problem spending an extra 5 seconds to accommodate this request. Whatever, It's fine, I shrugged it off. We picked up our food tonight and the staff were average enough. The young lady that rung up our order was nice enough, but somewhat dismissive and seemed distracted. All good, I'm hungry so let's just get to the part where I pay and you give me my food. So we got our order. No offer for plates, pepper flakes, or Parmesan (lame, at this point I don't even care I just want to leave). We got home and the food just wasn't good. Don't get me wrong, chain restaurants aren't going to produce the same quality as say, a passionate mom-pop establishment. This definitely ain't a NYC pizza shop, and I know this. But dang, for a $40 purchase consisting of a calzone, cheesy breadsticks, and a mini pizza, can you at least make it taste like some effort was put into it? My calzone was soggy (I ordered veggie, so they threw 6inch long raw onions and giant bell peppers in there so all the water cooked into the dough), and the mini pizza was nothing exciting - but apparently was good enough. The cheesy breadsticks almost tasted stale - the dough was chewy/tough and the cheese was already congealed/solid despite us picking up on time. All in all - we're locals and after this third try, we both decided this was it. And we're really not that hard to please. What a waste of money and a bummer! I want my empty carbs to at least taste good. Would rather take my business 25 mins away to North Fork. Or just go to Round Table. read more

We spotted this Pizza Factory location after our long, hot day hiking in Yosemite and it instantly gave me nostalgic memories of dining at their other locations while on long road trips with my family. You can't forget their tagline: "we toss 'em, they're awesome". I'm not going to lie, the parking lot here is pretty sketchy. Although they do have tables set up outside for dine-in, I would just take your pizza to-go. They're known for their sausage so of course we had to go with that as one of our toppings. They have tons to choose from so we also added on ham and pepperoni, and an order of their cheese ravioli with meat sauce. After about a 20 minute wait we headed back to our lodging and dug into the pizza. It held up great in transit and remained piping hot with tons of cheese and toppings. They also give you a huge loaf of complimentary garlic bread. The ravioli was a good compliment to the pizza but tasted like something frozen you could get at the grocery store. It's a pizza place after all, so I wasn't expecting much more than that. Pizza Factory will always have a place in my heart. read more

Friday night is obviously a challenging for this place. I don't typically leave reviews (either good or bad) unless I'm really impressed or really disappointed. Sorry Pizza Factory, today is not your day. Over an hour to get our dine-in order of one medium pizza and one custom calzone. To be fair I was originally given a 25-30 minute expectation timeframe. When I inquired at the 45 minute mark, I was barked at: "We're working on it" The calzone came out at the 1 hour mark and it was luke warm. When my wife asked about the status of the pizza, she was told: "It's in the oven" The counter help refused to admit that our order was forgotten about and made it seem as if we were being unreasonable for asking about the pizza. Only after engaging with the owners (who happened to be dining with a large party) did the pizza finally come out. The owner did offer to refund the cost of the pizza, which I did initially ask her to do. Overall, Pizza Factory did not impress and we will not be visiting this particular establishment again. We stopped in on a late night pizza run as it was closest option from the Tenaya lodge. The pizza was hot, a tasty and hit the spot after a long day. As for changes made due to covid - indoor dining was closed off but the outdoor patio was open and was being used by a few families. All guest and staff were in masks and the staff were wearing gloves at all points of the pizza making process, it felt as safe as it could be at the time. read more

I ordered a mini cheese pizza with mushrooms and they forgot about my order. My family had already finished before we asked where mine was, they said they forgot and then finally brought it out. The pepperoni pizza I had in Fresno was awesome and I had it twice as it as so good. Fast forward to Oakhurst, the original restaurant, it just didn't do anything for me, at all! $11 for a simple beer? Really? $100 for 3 pizzas and medium size at best? I know things have increased in price, but this was ridiculous! Their kids game room cost a buck and if you're lucky, the kid gets a 3 cent balloon! The pizza was only ok and not worth the price at all. The atmosphere was blah at best. I couldn't wait to come back to one of their stores, I no longer care to come back here again! OMG so good. This is honestly one of the best pizzas I've had in a very long time. I drove up to Yosemite from San Diego and after a long hike we decided to get pizza. I was not expecting this place to be so good. My pizza came out in under 20 mins. Perfectly cooked and tons of cheese. This was so good I literally looked them up to see if they have one in San Diego. Luckily the have one near San Diego. I will for sure be going there when I get home. Place is horrible. I ordered with a group of friends with about 5 mins apart from each other. Two of my friends got their orders before I did and that was expected, but it took about 30 more minutes for my order to come out. I waited patiently for about 50 minutes total and finally 1/2 orders came out. My 2nd order was not done yet, so I asked for a refund and sure enough they did give me a refund. another thing, when I was trying to order, I tried ordering some chicken wings and the girl in the front, her name was Bella, she specifically said we didn't have any wings and I said oh that's fine. While I was waiting for my order I saw and heard other people ordering the chicken wings, and I didn't say anything to them, I was just disappointed with what they had done. Power went out today and they didn't know how to get the credit card systems back online or take out info to be charged after the fact. No sign on the door. Manager came up front and said he was too busy making pizzas to call the help desk. I told him it wasn't a problem, he could make two less. No one there dining or waiting on an order. How do you not know how to make this happen in 2023? The dumbest problem a business can have is not being able to take people's money. I mean, ready? Pizza Factory has been my go to place for almost 3 years since we joined the mountain community. Being in a tourist town places sometimes forget the locals are what keep the doors open when it isn't tourist season. Last night being the perfect example. Order a pizza wait over half an hour and inquire on our order as it's almost 8 PM on a school night. They can't find our order and apologize. Ok stuff happens then less than a minute they bring out a pizza i that is cold it's been sitting a long time someplace. I take it to the counter and the arrogance the employees have here just blows my mind. I told them to keep the pizza and the money. It's bad enough in the winter they freeze you here. When they want to heat up the restaurant they shut off the exhaust fan and fill the restaurant with smoke. The rest of the time you have to dress for the outdoors while dining here. It's difficult to find a clean table unless you want to bus it yourself. The staff here is very young and not their fault they have horrible leadership that doesn't show how to treat customers. I love the pizza but just tired of being treated poorly here and freezing my butt off every time I come here. read more

We were visiting up at Bass Lake and the kids wanted pizza so we decided to stop by and see how they were. I was a little scared because of other reviews saying the pizza was either burnt or raw but this didn't happen to us. We were greeted by a young man who helped me with my order. We ordered 2 XL Pizzas and it was A LOT more than we thought it would be. The kids got a cheese pizza and it had lots of cheese on it and we also got a pepperoni, olive and pineapple pizza along with breadsticks. I love that they give you a squeeze bottle of ranch and don't charge for it, I've never had a place do this. We all enjoyed our pizza and the breadsticks they had tons of toppings and were fully cooked for us. The kids enjoyed the small arcade area while we waited for the pizza which probably only took about 15 minutes from the time I ordered to them bringing it to the table. This 1 star review is solely for the manager, who said his name was Chris... we are corona-cationing up here to visit Yosemite and stopped in to order a pizza to go after having spent a long but amazing day in this gorgeous part of the country. My husband went in and ordered a large cheese pizza and he waited. He gets it back to our Airbnb and we open the box it and it's a full on veggie pizza - the works. Super disappointed kiddos as they about gagged at all the veggies, and super disappointed husband as now he knew he'd be driving back to get the pizza we ordered. I call and the girl who answered was just incredibly nice when I explained that my husband ordered a cheese and we were given a veggie. She apologized and said they'd give us a credit, I explained that this was our dinner, it's late and the kids really wanted pizza, couldn't they make one? I mean this stuff happens, but can we please get our cheese pizza? She said let me check and puts me on hold and after a few minutes a guy picks up and asks if he can help me. I'm a bit confused because I was being helped but ok.. so I explain we were given the wrong pizza. And this guy-- he committed the *cardinal* sin of store managers: he said when my "...husband called she read back the order and your husband confirmed it." Um, I told him, we didn't call, my husband ordered it in person. This guy doubled down, "Well, regardless we always read back the order, and your husband confirmed it." I think in my head, DUDE wth that is honestly just beyond unacceptable and frustrating. You are literally arguing with me over a cheese pizza?! I mean somewhere something obviously went wrong with communication-- we are in the midst of this coronavirus and both the girl who took the order and my husband were wearing masks. Could one of them misheard the other? Absolutely. Just make the correct pizza and end it!! Who trained this guy?!?! I am annoyed. I tell him we'd like the pizza, it's our dinner and it's late. So he says he will have it ready in 10 minutes, I say thank you. I hang up and immediately turn and tell my kids, "If you are EVER the manager of a business and a customer calls you to tell you there was an error with their order you snap to attention and say "I am so sorry that happened, we will get that corrected now." Done. Happy customer. When my husband went back to get the pizza, there was still no apology. Chris is a young guy and sure has a ways to go. I hope he reads this review and takes in this advice: Unless a customer is abusing you or one of your employees, your job is to make things right. Treat your customers good and they will do the same to you and your establishment. And they won't leave you one star reviews. read more

At least the pizza was bearable unlike the dry garlic bread that was sitting on the counter for 5-10 min as I walked up to ask about it. Thought we were going to have to settle for the Golden Arches when we saw a Pizza Factory next door! Score! Amazing pizza. Nice and crispy on the bottom of the crust. Good flavored crust, too. They have an outdoor seeding area that's fenced in. Yay! Good for the kids and we could let our doggie join us while we ate. We were able to do a half and half pizza to please the family. We went last night (September 30, 2022) and I would love to tell you how the food was but I ended up not getting our pizza. We ordered a pizza, order of roasted chicken wings and a drink. The wings finally arrived after a long wait. We sat and waited for the pizza and after 30 minutes and seeing others who had ordered after us get their orders, we ask about our pizza. Waitress checked and said our ticket had gotten lost, ( I guess AFTER they fixed the wings an in about 5 minutes brought us a cold pizza. We returned it asking for a hot pizza. After another 15 or more minutes we cancelled the order. We were given a refund for the pizza amount only not the wings or drinks or tax. I will not go again. The service is awful and had it been really busy I would have understood but watching people get their orders that had ordered after me, and then still waiting so long for the hot pizza, it is not understandable. Never ate here before and will not eat here again. Save your money folks! Eat somewhere else. read more

Everything is actually unkept up with. They never wash their pizza pans nor their utensils. Every dining area has some sort of gunk on it, They refuse to clean. Management isn't ideal for the work force either, They're extremely rude and unbearable to speak to. Staff however are also extremely disrespectful. We were staying in Bass Lake and decided we needed Pizza. We got three pizzas, ravioli and Greek salad. Everything was superb. The pizzas had great fresh tasty ingredients and the salad was fresh. The garlic bread was amazing but had sesame seeds on the bottom and junior has a sesame seed allergy and parents totally missed that one, so Junior had tummy ache for several hours and needed some Benadryl but is fine. I would only suggest that with seed allergies, if sesame seeds don't add anything to the garlic bread, just 86 the seeds and keep that delicious bread coming. read more
