Coming from the lake we had our dogs so we ordered to go. Placed the order and 20 min. later still no word. Went to the counter and learned they didn't get our order in, so 15 min. later we finally got our pizzas. They put meat on the veggie pizza, so they then had to redo that pizza. Finally we get both pizzas, 1 was ice cold. Almost 1 hour, $40, and absolutely no apology later we asked for 2 ranch dressings. They had the nerve to tell us that would be an additional charge. Lousy customer service!! Serious, no one said they were so sorry for forgetting our order and making the wrong pizza - no one. To top it off, as were eating the pizza on the drive home there as a hair mixed into the cheese. Can you believe it - I wanted to barf!! I will never stop here again! read more

This wasn't a pleasant experience going here. The locals hate anyone who isn't from around the area, they stare you down in such an awful way if you're not wearing flannel shirts, smelling like fish or driving an overly exaggerated sized truck. I have driven by this place for many years travelling to Shaver Lake, Huntington, Kaiser pass to Mono Hot Springs, Florence and Edison lakes. I never had a reason to stop until recently my son and i decided to try fishing in the foot hills. We stopped by for lunch and thought about Subway which is right next door. But Pizza Factory had a sign saying lunch special all you can eat pizza, pasta, etc. for $7.98. We went in to check it out. It had ended minutes before at 2pm. They suggested some other specials and their new pulled pork sandwich. I decided to try the sandwich my son had a medium pizza. First let me say it was the young man at the register that pushed the sandwich on high recommendation. He was smiling and friendly. He was not wrong. The sandwich is baked on a french roll with melted provolone cheese and a nice bbq sauce with peppers and onions and baked to perfection. It was very good. I tried my sons pizza. It was perfectly cooked. Nice thin crust. Burning hot from the oven. I was pleasantly surprised because i had been at another location and was not impressed . I made a point of telling them how good everything was and if I'm back in the area would not hesitate to go back. Well done guys! read more

This place is terrible! When Bill owned it it was incredible, but the new owners don't seem to remember anything that Bill taught them. I'm all about keeping my money local, but I would rather drive all the way to town or up to Shaver for pizza now. I think it's time for the new owners to move on. I haven't heard one good thing about this place since Bill sold it. They're overpriced, filthy, rude, and their food is disgusting! read more

I've been going to this pizza place all of my life. After a good day up on the mountain snowboarding or after a day on the lake, we've always made Pizza Factory our stop for dinner. Love the local feel with the great brick oven pizza. Must stop. read more

I have refrained from writing a review for a long time, out of respect for Bill and his years of heart and soul he put into this restaurant, but tonight put me over the top! I tried to give the new owner (not so new at 3 years) a chance and the benefit of the doubt but can't keep quiet any longer. The customer service is HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!! Like other posters I have stood at the counter numerous times with 3-5 employees working and waited 5-10 minutes to be acknowledged. Out of the last six times we have ordered here, our order has been screwed up 4. Completely wrong pizzas, wrong combinations of toppings, burnt crust, called 3 hours before and placed an order to be ready at 5:30, at 6:00 still waiting for our order. You name it, if it's bad we've experienced it. Tonight, it was busy and we were told the wait would be 45 minutes. Ordered a salad which ended up being a mistake! Salad bar was empty, filthy and nasty! Of the 6 or so empty tables not a single one was clean! There were dirty dishes and food crumbs on all of them. Had to get napkins and hot water and wipe down our table. An hour and 5 minutes later we finally got our food and it was wrong. When I went up to the counter to notify the staff they asked if I'd like to speak with the manager and out comes the owner. Where was he when his crew of 4 was trying to fulfill all those orders on a busy New Year's Day !?!? As a lifelong resident of Prather It makes me sad because this place used to be our go to when we ate out. I feel like a Prather staple has been destroyed! :-( I recommend Me N Eds in Clovis or Shaver Lake pizza on the mountain. read more

Always great food and service. If you haven't tried the Calzone do so. It is big enough for two, but you won't want to share it.

We went to this place on Saturday. My wife doesn't eat pizza, only the breadsticks and salad. The salad plates are far more generous than the old owner's little plates, so she does like that very much. The breadsticks aren't as good as they used to be -- less garlic, I think, but they are soft and okay, according to my wife. The new dessert breadsticks are pretty good. As for the pizza on the all you can eat pizza bar, which was all I took (except for a soda to drink). From the minute I tried to eat the pizza, the crust was burnt in some places and rock hard in the rest. The toppings slid off like parchment paper. I ate two bites, one from each piece, threw down my fork and said, "I'll be waiting in the truck." We will never eat here again! If you love salads -- you'll be fine. Otherwise, good luck! No one seemed to notice we paid $9 for my meal that I found to be inedible. I was so angry, I didn't say anything... just left! read more
