This place is a gem. My favorite part of the pizza is the dough I love a crispy crust it is hard to perfect. The Pizza Factory pizza crust is perfectly crispy. The toppings fresh the cheese yummy. Stopped by while traveling home from OR. It was at a very convenient location right near 97. We ordered a combo to go and it was some of the best pizza I have had in a while! Crust was perfect, toppings fresh and generous. My daughter and I were both very pleased. Pizza was made quickly and girls working there were pleasant. the hours of operations show that they are open until 10:00pm and I called at 9:00pm and the employee that answered said they were currently closed. so it would be nice if they actually posted the correct hours so that they don't mislead potential customers, just saying. read more

Wife and I ate there last Monday. Had a Hawaiian with added chicken. The chicken tasted/smelled a bit old/strange. Within a half hour from leaving, both the wife and I spent the next two days in the bathroom. This pizza was the only common meal between us for a week. May be a chain (albeit a small one), but this branch is family owned, and it shows. Good pizza, good service (from the owner's family). They know you by name or even order. Reading through the comments posted here prompted two things: one, write a review that reflects my own experience and two, note how douche-y some folks seem to be in this sort of forum. My sandwich was quite good and I had a slice of my buddy's pizza, which impressed me as well. Service was great, staff was very friendly, we got our food quickly & as ordered, not sure what else I should expect from a pizza place, especially in a town of 3k people. Additionally, being a veggie I still found ample selection from which to choose but can understand that in a small town my options might be limited. And I was able to somehow make it through my meal while cooled only by the fans inside; the lack of AC didn't kill me as it apparently would to others, and I was able to "struggle through" temps in the mid-70s. Additionally, I observed that this has a good community vibe; locals like it but they, similar to the staff, aren't crappy and exclusionary. It's feels the way every town's pizza place should feel (unless, apparently, you're in SLO town or Orange County). If you're driving through Weed, CA & want some pizza, give it a whirl. If you want entitled attitude with a splash of condescension, touch base w/ Elizabeth C. - I'm sure she can point you in the right direction. read more

About a week ago I entered the establishment with several associates of mine in hope of ordering a big succulent pizza. However, our minds were quickly swayed at the sighting of a lunch buffet sign in the window. I do wish they made it more visable sicne it was hard to see. As curious as we all were, we all ordered the lunch buffet and we received two plates, one for the pizza and one for the salad, very nice. We then sat down at a corner table, all were clean and it wasn't too busy at this time so we could really choose where we wanted to sit down. After sitting down we all loaded our salad plates to our desires and started to eat, in order to prepare our stomachs of the greasy deliciousness to soon come. After about 5 minutes of eating salad, an employee starts putting the pizza into the heated cabinets which were exclusively for the lunch buffet. My associates and I were quick to get up and grab a couple of slices. We each grabbed about four slices each and started devouring them. The crust was crisp enough to where I could hold the pizza by the end and the whole slice would hardly droop down, this was also in part to there not being too much grease on the slices of pepperoni. As we began to finish off the slices we all grabbed, we looked back and now saw that there was not only plenty of pizza in those heated cabinets but also breadsticks. However, the time of our lunch was running out so we grabbed some napkins, wrapped up the breadsticks and left, in order to get back in time for our next class. From Weed store. My son ordered and picked up a pizza for us last night. When we opened the box the pizza was burned. I was surprised someone would place a pizza that burned in a to go box. The employee should have recognized it wouldn't be acceptable. I encouraged my son to call and explain the situation I hope he did. Let's see. We ordered our food with no onions and they literally put extra onions. Our breadsticks came out about 15 minutes after our food and my small pizza which was only cheese was stone cold. This makes no sense to me, as there weren't too many patrons. I told the waitress we asked for no onions and all she said was "i'll tell them." The original owners would croak if they knew there once awesome pizza place was this horrible now. Sad! Road tripping home US 97 from Northern Oregon to Sacramento, California and put stopped at this quaint little pizza shop. Easy off us 97 and easy on. It's a roomy older establishment with exceptionally friendly staff! The salad bar is small but thorough and very fresh. The roasted cashews were a nice touch. This place is disgusting there was ants all over the floor covering old food crumbs, i sat and repeatedly watched the employees touching door handles and other dirty miscellaneous things and then handling food with their bare hands not even using gloves + employees with long hair not wearing anything to prevent their hair from falling into the food + I can visibly see the pans they place pizzas on all over their dirty ass crumb filled floor in the kitchen. Pizza Factory Weed was a great stop for lunch on our way to Crater Lake. Not only did it have a great view of Mt Shasta, the employees were friendly and the pizza was very satisfying. I would concur with other Yelpers who said the outside (and bathrooms) were shabby looking. I do think they could invest in a small remodel. Stopped there last Friday night a bit late but the open sign was still on and the last time I was there I liked the pizza. I ordered a beer and the girl at the counter was friendly and efficient. We decided on the pizza and ordered, no sign the place was wanting to close up. We were asked here or to go and asked for "here" because we had a dog in the car and needed a break from the car anyway. Mom went to the ladies room and said it badly needed cleaning. Pizza came in "to go" boxes... whatever I guess. Halfway through we were rudely told to hurry up because they wanted to close. We wanted to finish up and go anyway so we were not taking any more time than necessary. I tried to get the attention of the staff on the way out and was purposely ignored. The entire 20-something crew of about 8 (!) was obviously finished with their work and had started the party a bit early so pesky customers needed to get out of the way. Management badly needs to clean house, both the restrooms and the staff. I would fire every damned one of them except the young lady, who I believe got off earlier. They were still in there goofing off after we left. Oh and hand tossed? Where? I didnt see any tossing, maybe they do it in the back. I suggest forget tossing the pizza, toss your employees.
