We're visiting Mt. Shasta, so this is the first time we've ordered from Say Cheese for pickup. And I can guarantee, they're saying "cheese" very loudly and clearly. We ordered the pesto chicken veggie pizza in the 18" size, figuring we'd have it for a few meals. I've gotta say, this is pizza is loaded with large chunks of chicken, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, tomatoes, and garlic. The crust was perfectly baked, both tender and crunchy. This is one of the best pizzas we've had, and that includes the many we've eaten in Italy! I'm so pleased we get to have more tomorrow! read more

We discovered this place because another crappy pizza joint next to our RV park SUCKED ! We used to go there but we went for their pretzels that they never have available. So I decided for the family to try this place and I'm sooooo glad I did. They have amazing dough and their service was really nice. We bought a small Luau (?) Pizza, a large pepperoni, 2 hot links with pizza dough, and a mushroom calzone. They were all delicious. My favorite was the Luau one. It looks like a cute little place with some arcades for the kids. We did take out so we didn't bring the kids but there was kids happily playing there. We found our new favorite spot. read more

6/17/24 2:20pm check the website to make sure they are open and drove out of our way to have lunch here because it's so good. We arrive at 2:20 p.m. and the sign says they're closed until 3:30. We are starving because we skipped lunch to eat here, they're closed so they can clean the oven. They don't open until 11:00 a.m. you would think they would be able to clean the oven in the morning before they open! So upset and starving!!! ( 2 hours past lunchtime) We ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the trailer! The food is excellent, and that's why we go out of our way when we're anywhere in the area to have lunch or dinner here! This place is awesome! We came here with a party of five that were visiting McCloud RV park. between all of us, we tried the pizza, calzone, and the French bread pizza. The salad bar was a hit with everyone! Lots of choices with fresh ingredients and excellent dressings. All of us loved the food! The woman sitting next to us had ordered the French bread pizza and it looked so good (and she confirmed it was) that two of us ordered that. Big portion and excellent! Be sure to try the Luau pizza - it was great, as was Steve's Sensation (we had a half and half pizza). We wish they would open a place where we live! We'd love to eat here regularly! read more

Late Post - Dropped in for dinner before the Labor Day Holiday rush, it was still packed, but with locals and their families. Great, friendly, family vibe place with lots of energy, pizza options, huge salad bar and I think I recall a video game/game area. Several different areas to dine in too. I ordered the Backdraft pizza which had bacon, artichokes and chopped jalapeños with a ranch dressing as sauce. Very unusual, glad I tried it. I was starving after hiking in the intermittent rain that day, the tasty pizza and orange flavored wheat beer on tap hit the spot and my craving for pizza. YAY! Worked out great! The pepperoni & pineapple pizza was extremely average tasting and pricey but it served it's purpose for these just passing through Cali Central Coast travelers. The very nice lady that was handling the register raised my rating to 4 stars. She was very nice, accommodating (for offering paper plates knowing that we were staying at paid lodging) and efficient. Fantastic pizza! Weak salad bar. The pizza here is fantastic. Has a great crust, proper amount of toppings, and lots of specialty pizzas to choose from. Staff is friendly and hard working. Pizzas are delivered quickly to the table. We enjoy the basic salad bar but it doesn't get much attention by the staff. I was very impressed with Say Cheese! I was in Mt. Shasta for work and am not familiar with the area. pizza sounded good so I headed over the them after my evening meeting. It was only a few minutes before closing when I got there, but when I asked if it was too late to order pizza they were very kind and got my order right in. They came out and made sure everything I wanted was still in the salad bar and were just overall very gracious, excellent service. The place has an old school pizza house vibe and I liked it. The personal pizza I ordered was very good and the price was quite reasonable. If I'm ever in Mt. Shasta again I will be back! read more

New to the area, one of the first spots we had to try was pizza. We ordered a Large, and it was way bigger than what we're used to, which was nice. Their crust is dense and crispy...no soggy pizza, even when you reheat in the microwave. We also got the salad bar, I wish you could go back for seconds. We also had the twisty bread sticks, they tasted good but I wish were softer. We have since ordered from here several times, they are great for pick up and delivery. A medium pizza is plenty for 2 of us, with leftovers. And their wings arrive hot, I always have to wait for them to cool down. read more

The food here is bomb! It's a little on the pricier side but honestly pretty worth, their serving sizes are good! This place was a solid 4 stars. The place looked like it had been busy. Some dirty tables when we walked in but there was a person who was bussing. We didn't know what size pizza to get. We explained we didn't want left overs as we were staying at a hotel. The employee suggested a small. We thought it sounded too little but listened to her. A small veggie pizza cost $19.99. We got drinks and requested a pitcher of water. The person who took our order was quick and got everything. Pizza didn't take long to cook. The person who dropped off our pizza just brought it to our table in a to go box. Why waste a box when we were eating there? The person who took our order even asked if it was to go and we said no. The person who dropped it off didn't say a word, no smile, nothing, just placed it on our table and left. We opened the box and our pizza looked amazing with a TON of veggies! It was awkward to try dishing up the pizza from a to go box at our table. The pizza was very good with a nice crust. The girl who was bussing the tables when we got there started talking to us while still working. She was extremely friendly. Btw, the small was a perfect size for the 4 of us. No left overs. I was embarrassed. We had a family reunion at Mt. Shasta in September and I recommended Say Cheese pizza to multiple family members. Unfortunately, the pizza was not as good as it was in the past. I don't know if it was an off night or if things have changed overall for the worse. It wasn't horrible, but I won't be recommending it any more. I hope Mt. Seems like this place needs new management. Old guy who seems to huff and gruff and is rude to out of town customers. We passed by and decided to try this place. Pizza didn't come in 40 minutes. Expressed this to the manager and he got very defensive, said he's been in this town forever, and he could tell we're not from here. I read some other reviews below who had similar experiences, with bad pizza, long wait, then having the manager yell at them. Most of them were out of towners. When we got our bill it was more than what the menu price was. Someone else said he overcharged as well, after providing bad service. Doesn't make sense. Seems like he needs to fix his attitude. Choose another place unless you want to wait an hour for pizza and on top of it get yelled at and overcharged. read more

Searching for "say cheese pizza" was the best thing we did simply because we were able to walk around downtown Mount Shasta and acknowledge every single little store that was there while we waited for our order. The staff was friendly and we love a good team! Aside from being so damn good I noticed that the ambience in there was pretty good. Wow what a place! Where do I begin? First let's see how to enter.... Ahhh there's the door amongst the three just go to the far left, it's open. Next ordering make sure after you order check check check back with them because after waiting 1 hour 20 mins for pizza, breadsticks and wings (wings not received) while no one was there besides the employees daughter and a few kids playing in the game room. Thank goodness I was able to order a salad that I made myself. We arrived at 430 ordered and waited. When we finally received the pizza as they delivered it was placed with much attitude as though it was our fault we waited an hour and 20 mins arriving at 550pm. Sad to say not very many places to eat in Mount Shasta area so just beware and perhaps already expect this type of service. He did give my husband a beer as we ordered two prior. read more

Okay so anytime we are in MT Shasta we always stop here for pizza sticks and never had a bad experience until today. When in right when they opened ordered 3 orders of pizza sticks paid and sat down. In that time watched people come after us and order and then leave with their food. There was even a group of three people that went up there ordered and got their food in ten mins after we have been waiting 35mins! So went up and politely as how much longer and was quoted 3-4 mins more. Sat back down and waited. Total time that we waited was 45 mins. Walked up and ask for a refund. And then our food came out. The guy that brought it out just simply said are you sure? You're missing out! Not even an explanation or even a simple sorry guys that took so long. Also couldn't provide something to prove that he refunded payment back to our card. He simple said I don't have a way to prove it to you. So who knows if we will even see that refund. Just a disappointing experience all the way around. The place was empty except for us and that group of three and the two others that came and went. So feel like they just forgot about us. What bothers me the most is how little the guy cared about time spent waiting for nothing. Not sure if he was the owner or not. read more
