We ordered two large pizzas and a side of bread knots. We had the Original Lompoc which is essentially like a combination pizza. The other was a half cheese, half Pepperoni. The service is excellent. The people were very friendly. Inside the restaurant is strangely organized but it works. You walk in and you order your food. They do have a delivery service. Paid about 50 bucks for some good flavor pizza. The Marinara sauce was a little different. Not sure what ingredients are involved. The ranch dressing I think is home made. I didn't mind the taste. Great place to eat. Definitely worth trying at least once. read more

We were staying at a local hotel and they were recommended. They did not disappoint! Jalapeño cream cheese bread was amazing! Pizza had a good quality sauce, great crispy pepperoni and the dough was fluffy and crisp! Delivery was about 30 minutes, hot when we got it. Heart shaped pizza FTW! Haven't been to the new location yet, but when I went to the old location that used to be near the dollar tree and China king buffet the pizza was really good and the salad bar had so many toppings. Guys. GUYS. OMG YOU GUYS. I finally found the best pizza in Lompoc and it's here at the Pizza Garden. This place wasn't really on my radar for pizza, we had tried a bunch of spots here in town and just didn't love any of them, they were good, but nothing special. We had finally settled on always having mediocre pizza. However, We received a gift certificate and decided to give it a shot cause I didn't feel like cooking last night. We kept it basic, large pepperoni pizza. Wasn't sure which crust to get because they offer several, but we went with the 805 crust which turned out to be like a breadstick crust, very tasty, but next time I think we will try either regular or thin. The sauce was good, cheese was good, pepperonis, ranch. Honestly there was nothing on the pizza I wanted differently. It reminded me a lot of Rusty's in Goleta which has been my favorite pizza place since I was a child. The service was also very fast and friendly. We ordered it for pick up. And within 10-15min it was ready for pick up. The guy working up front was super nice and asked if the pizza looked okay, offered us brownies because we had a couple dollars left on our gift certificate. I think inflation got the best of pizza garden or maybe it was the move to the new location but things have changed for the worse. I was a huge fan of pizza garden but the last two times I had it at the new location... horrible. Somehow the pizza is so dry. There is barey any sauce or cheese. I wish I had taken a picture of my burnt pizza. This was the worst dining pizza place EVER. most of you know me and I always post great food posts. This was terrible. The owner was very rude and accused me of "sharing my salad bar. ( the beans had turned and were sour). Not gonna finish it. I went to get pizza and there was very little to chose from. What was there had been reheated and over cooked. Owner said. That's what you get for the Buffett. He was very rude!! Raised his voice and was upset that I had complained. We made an order for pickup and an item was missing. They said they called our phone after we left but they did not. We love Pizza Garden! We have a super large family, and every time Pizza Garden hits the spot. They have tons of different options for all different food preferences, the Joe is spectacular, the recipes are amazing, and we love Larry! Larry runs a tight ship, and everybody there is out to please. This is the 2nd time ordering from here and I must say it's pretty good! Being new in the area...ordered the half pineapple and Canadian bacon and half pepperoni. The special with a large pizza and free medium salad which is a deal I just say. I was happy to see actual Canadian bacon and not ham!!! I would have rated 5 stars but the ranch was bland. Pizza is great however customer service is very bad. To be clear, the employees are fantastic but the way in which the company is being run is not customer friendly. I am signed up for their "text deals" in which you get texted daily deals. Today they had a BOGO free XL pizza deal. Sounded great! However, at the end of ordering I asked for the meal to be delivered contactless since we are living in a COVID run world right now. I was told that unfortunately that would not be possible because when the pizza arrives I must prove to the driver that I received the "text deal" by showing them the text on my phone or printing it out. I've never felt more like a petty criminal in my life then when I was told I had to prove to a driver I received a text deal. This is just bad customer service in a normal world, yet alone a world in which 99 percent of companies are providing contactless delivery due to COVID. There are many great pizza places in Lompoc, I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

I am writing this after two experiences, dining in and take out. First impression, the place looked like a pizza house; t.v's, arcade in the back, spacious floor plan. Looks great. Each time I came, I was greeted very warmly by first the owner and the second visit by the host who worked the register. Each time I was told about specials and offered discounted items based off of my ordering choices. Food quality was good. Each visit I ordered two pizzas and the second time I also got wings. They too we're good. The price is a bit higher than I'd like to pay for pizza. But it's not the end of the world. All in all, great experiences. One star from perfect due to the elevated prices. We got there at 4:30PM not knowing the pizza buffet did not start until 5:00. The counter girl was very accommodating however and told us we could have a salad and drink and the pizza would be out shortly, which we did. The salad bar was very adequate and the chicken wings, nachos and assorted pizza that followed shortly was all very good. My wife commented that the pizza crust was thin and not doughy, just the way we like it. All this, including drinks (we had root beer) was only $10 each! I would give the Pizza Garden 4.5 stars, recommend it highly, and look forward to returning shortly for more delicious food! read more

The pizza is good, the service is terrible. After ordering, they announce your name and number over a loud speaker and you must get your own pizza, plates, forks, and whatever else you need and take it to your table. The television above us was so loud we couldn't talk. I asked a young man to turn it down and he went to get the controller. The owner chastised the young man and came to my table and said he couldn't turn the volume down because some customers like it that way. He said we could move to another table. Okay Mr. Owner, because everyone knows it's easier to move an entire family than it is to turn down the television. So, I'll be moving...to another pizza place. read more

My husband and I tried their buffet for dinner for the first time. The price was great (2 for $9.99), but the food--not so. The salad bar was stocked well. They have fresh spinach and chopped up romaine (not iceberg), which I like. Lots of cauliflower and broccoli chopped up small, not the big giant pieces that are hard to eat. They also had pepperoni and I think Canadian bacon so you can make your own antipasto salad, but the mac and potato salad looked like the pre-made stuff. On to the hot food. They brought out three, one-topping, personal-sized pizzas: pepperoni, canadian bacon, and I think another pepperoni. They were small...like 4 slices to a pizza. And each had only one topping. They also brought out cheese sticks, and that was it for the hot food. I saw another picture on yelp of their buffet with regular sized pizzas, so they must change what they put out based on the number of customers who are eating the buffet (we were the only ones). I really wanted to try a variety of their pizzas so I can compare which pizza place I like best of the ones in Lompoc, but this sampling didn't help me. Based on this experience, we wouldn't go back to the buffet, but we might go back there just to order pizza(s) and watch a game on their many TVs. Very casual atmosphere with lots of space and small arcade for the kids. Service was great though. read more

This review is for delivery. Definitely one of our fav pizza spots in town. The regular garlic breadsticks were SO good; I wish I had ordered more. We got 2 med pizzas, the breadsticks, and an order of bbq wings. The wings don't have any bbq flavor at all, confused as to why they call them that. Unfortunately tonight pizzas were SLIGHTLY undercooked. I paid for extra cilantro for my bbq chicken pizza and at first I didn't think it was even on there but then I found it. Under the cheese......kinda strange. It's usually on top. These are just minor criticisms though; this place is great and we enjoy eating the food. This is our go to restaurant for pizza and games. I love that they give free sides when you order a medium or large pizza. The salad bar has a wide selection of fresh goodies to dress up your salad to your liking. However I don't think I'll order the lunch special again. I ordered a slice and a soda and added a trip to the salad bar. Like I said the salad bar is great but the selection of pizza wasn't great. We had to request a non meat pizza and when it came out it was basically just bell peppers. Yuck. I ended up with cheese instead. Also, the difference between the sizes of slices was huge! Some were large and some were tiny. I definitely would have felt cheated to be left with nothing but tiny slices. The pizza was pretty good - we opted for the buffet and got a chance to sample four or five different types of pie as they came out of the oven. I'm sure a made-to-order pizza would be better but I've no complaints about what we had. The environment could stand a bit of sprucing up - it's a bit ramshackle and messy. The service staff was friendly but seemed as though they were overwhelmed and couldn't pay attention to individual customers. That was a bit odd since the place was only half full, but I'm guessing they have a lot of take out and delivery orders. All in all a good experience. If I'm visiting Lompoc again and craving pizza I would look no further. read more

So....we have been ordering from this restaurant for years and have never complained before, we love the pizza even if it is super pricy, however, the last time we ordered two pizzas for delivery, they were burnt with very little toppings, it happens, we called and told them about our experience and was told that we would receive two free pizzas the next time we ordered, that was really great, we called approximately 2 months later and was told we could only have 1 free pizza, I asked to speak to Larry, the owner, I have known him for years, who proceeded to tell me that he would have to look into the situation with his manager and he'd call me back within 2 days, I said fine...another month went by, I never heard from Larry so I called last week, not only did he say he didn't remember speaking with me but all of a sudden my address and phone number had disappeared from computer his system...really??? How convenient and that is exactly what I told him! He then said he was going to research this and get back to me, of course, he has NEVER called me back...shocker!!! I have owned my own restaurants over the years and would never treat any customer this horribly or insult someone so badly...this is just so typical!!! This is hard for me to write because my family has been coming here since I can remember. Years ago, my Mom got a rotten egg out of their buffet and she has never been back. My husband and I love that they have sports on all the time and wanted a good salad bar to go with some good sports. So after about a year of not going, we decided it was worth a shot again. We went three weeks in a row. First week was good fresh pizza and salad, but we were the only ones so they basically made a pizza for us that was put at the buffet. The second week, they only put out a pizza with pepperoni after asking us what we wanted. What we wanted never came. My husband had 3 pieces and I went home hungry pretty much. On top of it, within 2 hours of eating the little bit of salad bar that was there, I was not feeling well. Not going to go into details, it wasn't horrible, but I wasn't too happy either. So I told my husband okay one more chance. Week 3 was the worst, burnt pizza, salad bar was less than attractive or full and all of us got sick. I say all of us because we save some crust and cucumber, tomatoes, eggs and peppers for our doberman at home for a snack. Not only did my husband and I get sick, but our dog has been sick for 3 days now since having their stuff. Now before coming here, we used to go to Mi Amores, but my husband likes the salad here better. Well even he has now said, never again!!! I take full responsibility that we are the ones who gave this to our dog and trust me she has already gone to the vet and we will find out what is wrong with her on Monday (tomorrow). But it is pretty sad when your food not only makes your customers sick, but a dog too!!! This used to be the best place in town for pizza and a salad, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy anymore. Very disappointed and upset... I hope Larry turns this around and fixes it, but after years of the same problem happening again I don't think that will happen. read more
