So....we have been ordering from this restaurant for years and have never complained before, we love the pizza even if it is super pricy, however, the last time we ordered two pizzas for delivery, they were burnt with very little toppings, it happens, we called and told them about our experience and was told that we would receive two free pizzas the next time we ordered, that was really great, we called approximately 2 months later and was told we could only have 1 free pizza, I asked to speak to Larry, the owner, I have known him for years, who proceeded to tell me that he would have to look into the situation with his manager and he'd call me back within 2 days, I said fine...another month went by, I never heard from Larry so I called last week, not only did he say he didn't remember speaking with me but all of a sudden my address and phone number had disappeared from computer his system...really??? How convenient and that is exactly what I told him! He then said he was going to research this and get back to me, of course, he has NEVER called me back...shocker!!! I have owned my own restaurants over the years and would never treat any customer this horribly or insult someone so badly...this is just so typical!!! This is hard for me to write because my family has been coming here since I can remember. Years ago, my Mom got a rotten egg out of their buffet and she has never been back. My husband and I love that they have sports on all the time and wanted a good salad bar to go with some good sports. So after about a year of not going, we decided it was worth a shot again. We went three weeks in a row. First week was good fresh pizza and salad, but we were the only ones so they basically made a pizza for us that was put at the buffet. The second week, they only put out a pizza with pepperoni after asking us what we wanted. What we wanted never came. My husband had 3 pieces and I went home hungry pretty much. On top of it, within 2 hours of eating the little bit of salad bar that was there, I was not feeling well. Not going to go into details, it wasn't horrible, but I wasn't too happy either. So I told my husband okay one more chance. Week 3 was the worst, burnt pizza, salad bar was less than attractive or full and all of us got sick. I say all of us because we save some crust and cucumber, tomatoes, eggs and peppers for our doberman at home for a snack. Not only did my husband and I get sick, but our dog has been sick for 3 days now since having their stuff. Now before coming here, we used to go to Mi Amores, but my husband likes the salad here better. Well even he has now said, never again!!! I take full responsibility that we are the ones who gave this to our dog and trust me she has already gone to the vet and we will find out what is wrong with her on Monday (tomorrow). But it is pretty sad when your food not only makes your customers sick, but a dog too!!! This used to be the best place in town for pizza and a salad, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy anymore. Very disappointed and upset... I hope Larry turns this around and fixes it, but after years of the same problem happening again I don't think that will happen. read more

I ordered a large Hawaiian Pizza last week and paid $24 including delivery which I thought was a regular price. When I called to order today I was told it would be $27+$5 for delivery. I asked if the price got last week was a special and he snapped at nme saying he didnt know what special I got last week. I had a coupon for 25% off the entire order and they also offered a buy 1 get 1 1/2 off. I asked which would be cheaper to get the 2 pizzas and he told me I would have to place an order to find out. Because money is tight I was trying to figure out the math when he put me on hold then a minute latter hung up on me. I really wanted the Pizza so I called back and tried to order. This time I placed the order and he asked Cash or Credit and when I said cash he said he would only accept credit. Now I am pissed and ready to order from Dominos where my cash is still good, but my friend really loves their Pizza so I called back. This time I spoke to the young lady who took my order last week. She vouched for me to the man I had spoke to and I was able to get 2 pizzas delivered & I paid cash. Here is the kicker the AzzHat that refused to let me pay in cash IS the Owner. Had it been an employee I would likely continue to be a customer, the pizza is that good, after being treated this way by the owner I am done with Pizza Garden. WARNING THIS PLACE IS NOT WHAT IT ADVERTISES. STAY AWAY. Refused ADA Accommodation.: First Off The cashier had no idea how many glasses of beer were in a pitcher. The owner/ manager was a really not nice guy. I would say he's ill-mannered and rude. He turned down the games volume so I couldn't here the game and refused an ADA accommodation of putting Closed Captioning on for the Hearing Impaired. Shame on you. Then they left the same pizza under the heat lamp for over an hour so it was all dried out. Then the ill mannered manager said I ate too much and he would never allow me to have a buffet at his restraint again. Buffet's are all you can eat. I believe the manager/owner was purposefully abusive and harassing. Now that is just the crudest behavior from a restaurant staff. I believe the owner and management must change or this restaurant will be closed within 1 year. I do not recommend. I pray no one should be so abused. read more

Summary: Great local pizza joint ran by rude liars! First couple times we were extremely impressed by both the pizza and the service. Thought the pizza was a little high but support a local owner and the quality of service definitely won us over. On our last attempt (2:00 pm on Nov 27, 2015), the on duty manager was rude and acted super busy. However, there were only 2 customers in the store and someone else was making all of the food. When we asked to either have the game we were watching turned up or switched to the tv with the sound blasting, the manager lied about his ability to change the station and volume. Previous managers have done so on multiple occasions and just last week. Unfortunately, the owner has no way contacting me, but I plan to NEVER go back unless that manager either apologizes or is fired. Disappointed in having to sacrifice good pizza on principle and severely disappointed in the lack of integrity and leadership ability this manager brings to this business. Went there tonight with my folks and two boys. We walk in and say we need a table for 5 and the owner tells us "sorry there isn't any room we have a large party coming in soon". We were like WHAT??? The place had plenty of tables still available. What type of business turns customers away? If you've ever worked in the restaurant business you know large parties rarely show up with the number of folks they told you originally in the reservation. Any good business owner would have found a way to take care of us. The food at Pizza Garden is very good. We always come for the buffet and really enjoy the pizza and wings. The main reason for the low rating is our in-restaurant experience. Anytime we go, there are "Reserved" signs on most tables. This is not usually a problem as we'll ask where it is okay to sit. The last time we went, virtually ALL of the tables had a "Reserved" sign and the girl told us to sit anyplace. We were informed later that the seats we chose were reserved for a big party coming in later. Not exactly a welcoming experience. We found that interesting since most of the tables in the restaurant were empty. In any case, we always feel like our presence is a huge hassle since we never seem to pick the right table. The times we have taken a table reserved for a big party, we either leave before the party shows up or the big party doesn't show. I just wish our presence was just as important at those big parties that may or may not come. The next time we get Pizza Garden, it will be to pick up the food and go. Two stars for allowing fundraisers! I wouldn't eat here otherwise... Although the servers and food are satisfactory they are inefficient. After waiting more than 10 minutes to place an order at the counter I gave up and called in the order and was instantly helped over the phone BUT they didn't take down my name. So calling back pushed my order back further. It took about 35 minutes to get my 1 pizza and for $24 it's ok. It has lots of TVs so if you watch sports that's a bonus I guess. read more
