Visiting Seaside for a few days and got a hunger for pizza. Yelp offered up Pizza Harbor and we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did as it was damn fine pizza. My 12 year old said it was the best pizza he's ever had (take that as you will). Anyway, I'm sure we'll be back before our visit ends and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. read more

First, a quick disclaimer: my review is taking into account that this is a "Pacific Northwest" regional interpretation of pizza. I'll let you decide on how relevant that is, or not. Friendly staff. Way above average beer selection (small, but well chosen). Has that "Old School" pizza parlor atmosphere that is unintentionally kitsch, complete with obligatory video games (line up your quarters). Kid-friendly without feeling like you're in a Chuck E Cheese. Kids & Hipsters will love putting a quarter in the vintage chicken squawking machine (spits out an Easter egg with a prize inside). I would love to review their pizza if they were actually open and taking orders. Last night we called at 7:45 and were told they took their last order for delivery and could not take our order. We ordered the Harbor combo pizza and ordered it with the addition of tomatoes (which they charged $3.50 extra for). When the pizza came out the tomatoes were slices - and several had the end or core still on them. My husband took several off the pizza and took them to the front counter to show the pizza maker. The guy took a look and just said they don't have a tomato corer and have never removed the end of the tomatoes before slicing them. Super disappointed. It is Monday, August 13th... middle of summer at 7:32 pm. The boardwalk is full of people. Our family chose Pizza Harbor, not so much because it's really good but just because we always seem to eat one dinner there and I generally like supporting an underdog (figuring Fultanos was hurting their business). The restaurant was full and other people were also ready to order when the gal at the front informs us that they are shutting down the kitchen in 15 minutes so they're only taking 'to go' orders. What?! At 7:30pm in the middle of the summer? We walked straight back over to Fultano's Pizza who is doing a fantastic business. It has better pizza, a better location, and they are interested in serving the people who visit Seaside. Fultanos is our new Seaside Pizza restaurant. We won't return to Pizza Harbor. read more

We got the pizza...I politely asked for (and offered to pay for) a side of marinara and not only did I witness her talking shit about me - she was so fucking bitchy. Here's a tip - don't work in customer service if you CLEARLY HATE PEOPLE! It would be one thing if I was demanding and rude, but I've been there before. I'm overly polite to servers. Well I saw the ratings and read the reviews so we decided to try their pizza. I wish I had stuck with my other pizza place which is much better but we wanted to give this place a try. The pizza was too thin and I felt there wasn't much red sauce or it had no taste. I'm surprised they use Newman's salad dressing in a packet which I didn't care for. Got a take out pizza from Pizza Harbor on our first night in Seaside. Definitely liked the way that they do thirds. We got pepperoni, ham and pineapple, and all meat pizza. I love this pizza. They have an extraordinary number of toppings. We had a pizza delivered to our hotel on Easter Sunday about 15 minutes before closing time. Meh. The garlic chicken pizza was the worst I've had. Topped with chicken that looks boiled & overloaded with the jarred minced garlic. No tomatoes or green onions; just a load of thinly sliced red onions. The ham on the Tropical Delight was good quality, but there was just too much of it. That could be a plus for some. Pizza in a tourist town. Danger, Will Robinson, Danger! The good: Staff was friendly and nice, the restaurant itself felt like a 80's pizza joint with long tables - Fun, kind of a neat throwback. Nice selection of ingredients and great prices. Very cheap beer, always a plus! They also have mini-pizzas, personal-sized for those that want their own thing - No arguing about who gets what toppings! Most of our pizzas had lots of toppings that were a good quality, with the exception of the BBQ chicken pizza that was very sparse on the chicken. The bad: The crust. It tasted like it came straight out of the freezer at your local grocery store. And, I'm talking about the CARDBOARD BOX, not the pizza inside of it. Yeah, that bad. Even with good ingredients it completely spoiled the pizza. The sauce wasn't so hot either- It definitely needed something to spice it up. All and all, the overall experience wasn't bad, but the pizza wasn't great which was a major downer. read more

I was on my way to Dundee's pizza but saw this place was open so I decided to stop here instead. Huge mistake!! I ordered the veggie pizza large for 30 bucks and had them add basil for another 2 bucks. The pizza comes with tomatoes. When they called my name to pick up my pizza, I saw it was covered in raw hard tomatoes and a few pieces of raw basil. I asked if they would put it back in the oven to cook the tomatoes to make them softer. The guy said no. Once it is cut, they won't put it back in the oven but he may have another solution. We walked to the table with the pizza and he came over to tell us he could cook some tomatoes in the oven but they would charge us for them. Whattt??!! We said no thanks. You lost our business forever. The pizza was very bland. No flavor. The veggies tastes like they were cut days ago . The size was not even close to being worth the price. Definitely not worth $32. I will never return and actually can't understand how this place is still in business. Their customer service is terrible and the pizza is no better, in my opinion, than a cooked frozen pizza from Safeway. Go down the road to Dundee's. You will thank me later. read more

Best pizza I've ever had! Doesn't even compare to Pizza Hut, Domino's or any other major-branded pizza joints. My wife and I ate here Friday night after driving from seatlle area to spend long weekend at coast. We wanted something good and fast. Pizza was done excellently. The crust was crispy and toppings were just right. We both commented that it was the best pizza we had eaten in a very long time. As a side note, the place was decorated very well. This one is a family favorite and we visit (usually more than once) every time we go to Seaside. Salads, sandwiches, and of course, pizza - we've tried 'em all and they're all delicious! Worst Pizza Hut buffet ever! They do not stock the buffet. The buffet is served from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. We went at 12:10 and they were out of pizza and caesar salad. They made 2 medium pizzas which were gone in minutes and no more for 20 minutes and bread sticks out also. read more

Food is good enough to justify the cost, but it isn't a bargain. Still, the atmosphere is relaxed and kid friendly. Tap beer is cold and good, and generally helps make dinner here a pleasant night out. Some of the best pizza I've had in awhile. Mine came with sausage, green peppers and pepperoni. I ordered the "peewee" size with came with like 6 small pieces which was actually able to fill me up! It was really hot too, like burn the roof of your mouth hot, WHICH MADE IT THAT MUCH BETTER. The sauce was sort of sweet, not TOO much flavor but it was still very good.
