We had a pizza party at my house earlier this afternoon and we decided to order pizza from the Pizza Hut in Grove City on Columbus Street near Hoover Rd. It turned out to be an excellent decision. We ordered online around 10:00 AM with the intention of picking them up at 11:45AM. I arrived with my granddaughter at 11:41AM, a male employee greeted us and asked who's name was on the order. When I told him "Nancy", he immediately declared them ready to go. I paid him and was on my way. These pizzas were hot and prepared perfectly. He also provided a generous stack of plates and napkins. I wish I had asked him for his name as I should have included it in this review. I am sorry I did not get it. Thank you Pizza Hut! You did a great job! read more

Update: Seriously I love this Pizza Hut. Never had an order wrong. Always tastes perfect like the way it use to taste in the early 2000's. The delivery staff is awesome and listen to the instructions. This Pizza Hut makes It taste like it use to in the 90's/ early 2000's and I love it. We haven't had one bad experience from this Pizza Hut. We move here in August and normally get the same 3 pizzas and breadsticks. Delivery drivers listen to instructions not to knock on the door because it drives my dog crazy. Once I placed the ordered incorrectly and the lady over the phone let me fix it. I came here to vent after ordering from here. With a whole 1 star, my mistake was not checking here first as I could have saved myself the hassle. Online order, arrived 7 minutes after time to pick up, board said my order was ready. It took another 25 minutes before I left with my food. I don't know what the problem here really is. The people at the counter were both incompetent but it goes deeper than that. I can only assume this is a franchise. Corporate desperately needs to take this store back and fix it. I'll never be back. I have to assume the 5 star review was by the franchise owner. I can definitely tell you the pictures of the pizzas are certainly fake. Went there the other day pizza looked decent but very lacking in sauce tasted dry. Is it just me or does anyone else remember when the sauce used to drip out of the slice of pizza. At 4:32 pm I placed an order for a pepperoni and mushroom pizza with an order of 8 wings. I was told it would be 30-35 minute delivery time. After an hour, I called to check the order status. I was hung up on when I told them I needed an order check. I called back, they answered and I was hung up on again. (How do I know this, because I could hear them laughing in the back ground) I called from another number and asked for an order check. They told me the delivery time would be 7:45 pm now due to snow, now an additional two hours. I asked them why they didn't call and tell me the time change, she didn't reply. I told her to cancel my order. My husband called back to speak to the manager. (Derrick) He told us the pizza was in the car being delivered, even though I canceled the order. An hour later, my husband went to the store and spoke with the manager again. He told him that the order had been delivered, which was incorrect since he talked to me right before walking in to confirm. After speaking to the manager and asking him if this is how they do business there, he left. As he walked out the door, he heard the manager (Derrick) and the girl working start to laugh at him. He went back in and called them out on their behavior and lack of professionalism. It is now 1 hours and 12 minutes later and the pizza that was on it's way, though cancelled by me, still isn't here. According to Pizza Hut "you don't just make pizza, you make peoples day." You state your purpose to "create moments of excitement" and by "most importantly by unlocking the potential in our team members". You also say "Instead of following trends you set them" and you "create food that you are proud to serve and deliver it fast with a smile". You also state that "Pizza Hut stands for bold innovation". You actually made what was a horrible day even worse, because I just wanted a Pizza Hut pizza. "Moments of excitement"?, try moments of disappointment when I had to drive to your competitor for my pizza over two hours after this process started with you. Your moments of excitement were moments of frustrations as your employees and management laughed at us both over the phone and in person. What amazing potential team leaders do you unlock with that? They will pick up and hang up the phone if you call after 10pm even though they close at midnight. I called and called till someone finally picked up and someone answered and just yelled "we're closed!" and hung up in my face. I drove there out of anger and curiosity since it's down the street. Not only did I have to call at 4:40 because their "tracker app" was useless but they told me it was on its way out the door. I love the customer service here. One young lady in particular whose name is Kennedy S. She always has a smile on her face and kind words for everyone. She is a student and an accomplished violin player and a member of The Grkve City marching band where she is a woodwind musician. She makes you feel welcome and the food is always great. Absolutely horrible place to go! I went to get a large pizza and the girl was extremely rude with dirty looks and rude service. The manager was a tiny person and said the pizza still was not ready after I came at the time they said it would be ready. Decided to order online for the special. When my husband picked the order up the lady was polite. When we looked at the pizza the toppings on the BBQ chicken was not plentiful but was on the supreme. When eating the pizza there literally was not any sauce on either one of them. I then tasted the chicken wings to make sure they tasted ok and they did. I then called the Pizza Hut that we purchased the pizza's from to see if anyone else had complained about not having enough sauce. The person that answered the phone immediately copped an attitude. He asked what I ordered I told him and he proceeded to tell me how much sauce they put on it and suggest next time I order more. I said ok but now it is dry and he said what do you want me to do about it? Asking like that I didn't want anything from him so I said nothing and he said (rather snipey) have a good day. Just horrible! Brought my kids here for dinner at exactly 5pm. Only one other family there and it took 15 minutes to get service. It took an hour to get our pizza because the waitress put in the order wrong and had to resubmit it. She apologized but then went on complaining about her day and how her boyfriend broke up with her. On a good night, the pizza is great. I judge a business not only on how well I like them but how well they handle issues (which are bound to come up). I've gone to this Pizza Hut for over 20 years, don't use delivery or dine-in so can't rate that. Carryout, for the most part, everything is fine - order correct and ready on time and oh so good. This is the only PH in Grove City, so it can get really busy and once in a while, an order may be delayed or made incorrectly. But the employees are always nice and always happy to remake an order and apologize for any mix ups or delays. That's what keeps me coming back. Don't be afraid to give them a try. read more

I ordered pizza online for my family, and went at the time I was told to pick it up. There was one family inside eating, and I waited unacknowledged for approximately 10 minutes. The server finished with tthe family and asked if I was picking up, then no further communication with me. She asked Jeff (who turned out to be the manager) to come up from the back to "ring up the carry out". (I do have a name, which wasn't asked yet.) He came up, and seemed, at best, to be annoyed that I was there. He rang me out, during which I asked for a few dipping sauces. He took my card, gave me a receipt, saying nothing. About to walk away, I asked again for the dipping sauces, which seemed to further aggravate him. There was minimal eye contact, even less talking, no "Thank you", and definitely not anything kinder. I was really anxious just to leave. I understand bad days happen, but with years in customer service, their level of customer service was highly disappointing.
