Food was okay for what they had. Wanted a side salad and even though it was on the menu, I was told they don't do salad anymore. Also they only have bottled drinks, no cups or ice to go with them either. No ICE TEA either. They had have the place with chairs on the tables . I think they need to convert this Pizza Hut into a to go or delivery place only. Really don't offer what you would expect for a dine-in restaurant. We had such a wonderful experience 2 months ago we decided to return. The manager was there & his staff was great. We returned tonight 10/23/2024, & our experience tonight was awful!! After a 15 minute wait I finally went to the bar to tru & get someone's attention. One of the workers said he'd get the person to take my order. Then he proceeded to search the restaurant for her. He finally found her & she came to the counter. I went to place an order for the Tavern Deal that we had ordered the last time we visited & she told me I couldn't order it at the restaurant, I had to do it online. Ok. I went back to my booth opened the app & placed my order. I checked out & my debit card was charged. I asked the lady how long & she told me no order had come in. I told her it had gone through my bank & showed her the receipt. She said my card might not be working. Again I showed her the receipt from my bank showing that I paid $23 for my pizza (that included an 18% tip- I definitely want that back!!). She said there was nothing she could do about my order. I told her I have paid for my pizza & I need the pizza or my money refunded. She told me the App would refund it. I explained that the App said my order went through & again she told both my husband & me that she couldn't do anything for us. We should get the money refunded through the App in a few days. Her attitude was deteriorating a& she was starting to get snippy. We left. I went back in hoping to speak with the manager but the lady told me she couldn't get him. I asked how to contact him & she said the call the restaurant but she doesn't know the number there. She did say he would be in tomorrow morning. This was terrible. Jenny left a customer on hold for 27 minutes, calling back and then getting an attitude from her who refused to accept the responsibility of a manager for an order that was made wrong. Who would order a Supreme Pizza less all meat and vegetables- why wouldn't you order just a plain cheese pizza! This is the last time I'll order from this Pizza Hut. Absolutely the worst customer service and experience for $116. Good luck treating your employees, customers and others the way you did. The Pizza Hut in La Vernia needs to either close down, or get workers and a manager who knows how to make a good pizza. We have tried and tried to order a pizza for delivery for years and they cannot provide a decent pizza. Last night we ordered 2 pizza. Mine smelled like gasoline, the olives were burned, the cheese was burned, and the pepperoni was not eatable. This is the LAST TIME we will ever order a pizza. There are 3 pizza places in La Vernia and all 3 cannot make a decent pizza - pick up or delivery! I would lover to see Papa John's, or any restaurant that can make some good food! This location is not a great one to visit when it's busy even if you use the app they will run 20 minutes behind from the app. I have eaten here when it's not busy and it was great but for carry out on a busy night don't bother . Absolutely disappointed with our order. We ordered three large pizzas. Two thin crust, one was sausage and mushrooms and the other was just pepperoni. Both with easy sauce. The third was a stuffed crust meat lovers, and also easy sauce. None of this is complicated. Got the pizzas home and all three were so heavy with sauce that we had to take the cheese and toppings off, scrap the gallon of sauce off then put the toppings back on just to be able to eat the pizza. After reading all of the really rough reviews (really old reviews) about this Pizza Hut; I was somewhat apprehensive to say the least. So, my expectations were low and I wasn't looking to be impressed by PIZZA HUT! But.... I must say that I was impressed and not barely but extremely. The server was AWESOME!!! I never had an empty glass at my table (party of 6). The food was GREAT!!! The pizza was delicious and hot, straight from the oven. It burned the roof of our mouths in a I can't wait to eat this kinda way:) The wings were sauced correctly, which is impressive in itself because we kinda had a difficult order; only because we r trying to satisfy adult and young children's taste buds at the same time. The restaurant was clean and everything arrives in a timely manner. Overall super experience considering all the not so great reviews (that were written years ago). We have just moved to La Vernia and last night we thought pizza sounded good. Pizza Hut was our only option so I ordered online for curbside pick-up. I have never had such a bad experience anywhere! The website told me 35-45 minutes so I waited for 35 minutes to get there. I called the store and was told it would be about 10 minutes. After 20 minutes I went into the store. The woman at the counter asked my name. After she found my order she went to the warmer and pulled out all but one order of wings. I pointed out that my order wasn't complete and she went searching for the rest of it. during this search I watched the kids in the back playing around and nobody knew anything. the woman finally came back and said they would have to cook the wings and it would take 5 minutes. She told me that as soon as they came out she would bring them to my car. 15 minutes later I went inside and the first woman was not there. So I told the young woman there that it was beyond ridiculous that I was still waiting while my food was sitting in a warmer drying out and I wanted my food. She went to the back and said something and one of the kids looked at me and said " Well it takes 5 minutes". I said "it's been well over an hour!" At that point the other woman came back and said something to one of the kids and he yelled, "Well just fire me then!" One of the female kids then looked around a rack and squealed "She's looking at me!" The guy who talked about firing turned around to look at me and said something I couldn't hear. After that I was handed a stack of boxes and plastic containers and I promptly walked out. I was angry and did not check the order at the store but was not surprised that it was incomplete. When I got home I inspected the food and decided to try it although it was not appetizing. my pizza was nearly raw after I had requested that it be cooked extra brown. They'd had plenty of time to do so. I did try to eat some of it because it was my only choice but became nauseous (See below). The woman who seemed to be running things gave me a free 2 liter Diet Pepsi and a $20 voucher for my "next visit" which will not happen. I had even left a tip for a delivery to my car that never happened. My order was prepaid. I guess the worst part of it all was being jeered at by the jerks who got to hide in the back. I wish I would've seen the reviews earlier.. I placed my curbside pickup order at 7:16 pickup time showed 8:05. I get there at 8:00 check in with the link provided on the email. It looked pretty busy there were a few customers waiting to pickup since dine-in was closed so I waited till 8:20 to call the store to see how much more I needed to wait the customer service representative told me she sent a notification to the store to let them know I was there. I waited till 8:36 to go inside and see what was going on, I walked in and looked at the screen which had the names of customers and their order times. The names that showed ready were for the original ready time before 7:05 there were so many other names on the waiting list. I asked how much longer she said she could get my order started and it would take about 40mins at this time I was over it so I cancelled my order. Ordered carry out. The manager was the employee working the register. Paid for 3 salads, an order of 8 boneless wings buffalo mild, and an order of 8 boneless wings naked. The total was $26.77, and paid with $40 cash = $13.23 in change. We were given $3.23 in change. We went back into the restaurant after getting in the car and she corrected the mistake. Once we got home and opened everything up it got worse. The 8 piece buffalo mild wings were tiny and didn't even cover the bottom of the plastic bowl container The 8 piece naked wings were normal. Also, one of the wings was very rubbery and had a strange texture. The salads - which we have ordered for years - were tiny. Again, not even enough to cover the bottom of the plastic container they were in. My mom and I have always split the salad and been content. These were smaller than even what would typically be a side salad. All in all, not worth nearly $30 for very little food. Not sure what is happening here but the La Vernia Pizza hut was mediocre before and is now simply disappointing. I didn't even mean to click the one star that's how terrible this place is! If you think Pizza Hut is a great server, you clearly having stayed there longer than 5 minutes. I went into Pizza Hut to pick up an order and the server was really sweet, she was around 16 maybe 17. Very young and it was definitely her first job, but she looked stressed and very nervous and while waiting for her boss(which was the only other person working) to finish making my breadsticks, we just started chatting. Turns out she's only been working there for two months and she's the only one working because her two managers quit on the spot. The subject then turned into her family and mine and suddenly the boss, remind you is a grown women, starts to yell her living lungs at this poor kid. The girl gets shaking and tells me and the guy behind me who's also waiting that she'll be right back with my breadsticks. So I sit next to the counter and wait and suddenly the yelling gets more violent and apparently the boss couldn't wait to yell at her in a less public place. Watching this 50 year old women just demolish this girl for not making something just broke my heart. While yes a boss needs to be strict to run a good establishment. A boss shouldn't be fear and very much shouldn't be threatening her staff with backhanded insults and terrible behavior. After the brutal yelling this poor girl came back, about to cry, handing me my breadsticks and cashing me out. I tipped her a $30 and she thanked me for it. I left feeling bad and just yesterday I went in and found the boss doing cashier and when I asked another employee they said she was fired for being "overly emotional and was rude to the customers" now. Maybe that girl was rude to a customer. Maybe she did cry during a workplace. But she's also a teenager, mind you ones with hormones and relationships, if you had to make a teenager so stressed and so scared of you that she had a breakdown, maybe, just maybe you're doing something wrong Pizza Hut. read more

Great place to eat in if you have absolutely nothing to do for several hours. Bring along your crochet and you can finish that sweater you've been working on.
