Visited on a Friday evening, it was busy with the normal families with kiddos. Given that scenario, no complaints with waiting for plates, spatulas, and other necessities for the buffet. However, the sanitation was terrible. The kitchen staff do not wear gloves or hair nets while preparing food, and were seen wiping their noses with their hands, and wiping hands on their clothing, then going right back to preparing food. The place wasnt clean but, there was a ton of people in there with food flying all over as people fought for the next fresh pie to come out the oven. The side food was ok though. Salad, spaghetti, and bread. If you are hungry it's a good bet. If not, just order a pizza straight up. The service was a outstanding. A real nice funny waitress that's been there many years. Food is pretty decent, but presentation is awful. The salad bar looks like someone had a fit and tossed everything around and kicked all items in each others' containers. We've been eating here for many years and have never been treated the way we were tonight. We tend to look over some things, but tonight was terrible all the way around. First of all we called in an order for pickup and was placed on hold twice. After 8 min, we placed the order. Was told it would be ready in 15min. We allowed 25-30 min and still had to wait 15 min after we arrived. My husband had to go in, because someone just ordered at the window and was waiting for it to be cooked. When he received the pizza boxes, one of them had chocolate all over the bottom of the box and it got all over his hands. To keep from getting it on the car, he politely asked if they could put it in another box. Which they did. When we arrived home and opened the other pizza box, all of the toppings had shifted to one side of the pizza - and we didn't tilt the boxes, at all. We had to literally pickup the toppings and place it on the other side. The pizzas for some reason, were thick crusted. We've always received pizza inn pizzas with thin crust. The pizzas had a ton of cheese and hardly no pizza sauce. It literally tasted just like a cheese pizza...we couldn't even eat it. It tasted terrible. I called and asked for the manager and was told he was kinda busy. After I explained to the young girl about what happened, she started talking to someone and asked if I could hold for a moment. I've never been so disappointed, I called ahead and I had to repeat my order countless times. Then when I got there they hadn't even started the order and had to wait at least 40 minutes just for my order to be wrong AND find hair in my pizza. Absolutely disgusted, never going back. read more

Sometimes you have to eat, and they have food. The place is seldom clean, but the service is decent. The food is pretty institutional but usually hot and fresh on the buffet. It feels like all of the customers just came from or are on their way to Wall Mart or the DMV. Bottom line is that it is fast, cheap and not terrible. I will be back. read more

Terrible place. Service is horrible. I showed up to get my pizza and they told me it wasn't ready yet. After 20 minutes they "found" it sitting on top of the oven. They tried to give it to me and I refused to take it. Who wants cold pizza? They did at least stop playing with their hair and their phones to remake my 2 pizzas. Took 8 minutes to remake it so how exactly was I waiting 20 minutes in the first place? The only thing you should get here is directions to another pizza place. read more

It was a rainy day when we decided to visit Pizza Inn with our family. We had coupons and wanted to have an affordable lunch. Now I remember, it was the weekend that Hurricane Flo was hammering the Carolinas coast and even in the Upstate not too many people were out and about on that Sunday. We still decided to go since we had planned for it. It is definitely a place you can show up with your kids, too as it is pretty no-frills. The pizza may not be gourmet for sure, but it is decent, not cold, and even my 3 year-old will eat some; a plus in my book. My husband likes it, because he likes everything buffet-style. They also have dessert pizzas with chocolate chips. You can also order their pizzas whole for take-out, which I initially did not know about. I guess my standards can be lowered when it comes to the food so long as I can show up to a place where I know I can feel comfortable being there with my young children. It's not a food destination, but if you need to fill up on pizza and a safe place to bring your kids you can count on Pizza Inn for a good atmosphere. And as mentioned they usually provide coupons in the coupon mailer. read more

Pizza here tasted very generic, almost like frozen pizza with very thin crust. They had an all you can eat buffet and each variety I tried tasted frozen. It's probably a good value if you have a huge appetite and are more concerned with quantity over quality. read more

This place is not what it use to be, haven't been there in a few years and we went sunday, the servers were not working as a team at all. They did no prebussing and we had dirty plates stacked up and not once during the hour we were there did either server pick them up even though they did notice them there. They left tables dirty for a very long time some were dirty when we got there and still dirty when we left, none of the staff were friendly, and no drink refills, the pizza was not good at all and was rather a disappointment and they didn't ask was there anything we wanted made. When I finally asked for a white based tomato basil I had to explain to the waitress what it was and I ended up with a garlic bread pizza with chopped tomatoes on it that tasted old and gross, no basil, no white base. And they didnt bother to tell us it was ready either, it was almost gone by the time we found out it was on the bar. All the crust was like toasted pita bread, not pizza dough at all. And when we went to pay they didn't have change for us. I don't think I will be returning. Pizza inn use to be good. Not anymore, wish it hadn't went so down hill. read more
