I haven't been to pizza inn in years.In fact i forgot there was still one standing.So it was lunch time and I was hungry.So I ended up getting the buffet.Over all it's a pretty good spread.They have a pretty decent salad bar a few dessert options and of course the pizza.I didn't get a salad or any dessert.I pretty much stuck with the pizza and some cheese bread.Overall it was ok but nothing spectacular.Especially for the price.I think I paid around 18 dollars with a drink.I just remember back in the day pizza inn used to be my favorite and one of the best pizza places.Now not so much.Would I go back again?Maybe but it wouldn't be on a regular basis. read more

Went for the buffet yesterday and walked in at 1130, there was only half of a pepperoni pizza and what looked like a few slices of sausage and a few slices of left over supreme pizza combined on one pan out on the buffet. Thinking they would be bringing out fresh pizza soon, grabbed some salad and 2 slices of what was left out. Ate my salad and had a couple of bites of the pizza, and waited, and waited, and waited. Glad I like salad because that's all I had to eat. Got up to leave at 1205 after finishing my salad and drink and only then were they putting out some fresh pizzas. You shouldn't advertise an all day buffet if you're not going to have fresh pizzas available all day. Won't be returning. read more

I have been going to this Pizza Inn since 1963. The staff is very friendly. They make a Taco Pizza that is extremely tasty. There is also a novelty pizza that I love called the Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza that has mustard for the sauce with Hamburger, Bacon, Cheese and pickles. It may not sound good but it is crazy that is absolutely delicious. They have added mini corn dogs to their buffet that my grandchildren just love. The desserts are great. Go visit. Went there for dinner tonight as we were hungry for pizza. We were going to try their buffet, but ordered their large specialty pizza instead - Taco Pizza. I was a little reluctant becasue I didn't know what to expect. But the really nice pizza chef behind the counter suggested it. Their Taco Pizza was so good! We ate the entire pizza. We ordered a large thinking we'd have left overs to bring home, but we left no crumbs and we were a party of 2! Highly recommend it. Everyone we spoke with was so nice! I can see how customers can get confused with the soda fountain not being sure if it's self serve, but as soon as we walked in someone took our drink orders. As I'm sitting with my family my server comes and apologizes for her and that bigger lady with the dark hair started talking smack in front of the whole establishment. No manager ever came to speak to us. When we went to the front counter, the cook waited on me. I asked her for the managers number and she tells me he isn't there. Man, there is a certain amount of nostalgia & a special place in my heart for this pizza inn. This was where my grandma took me to go get pizza back in the day and even just driving up & hitting that first part of the store is a hit on the old memory lane. There is even still one of those table video games that I remember being there when I was little. Opted for the buffet which I have to admit needed some tlc. I don't think it was ever refilled while I was there and it was somewhat slim pickings around a normal lunch time stop. Though the salad bar was well stocked, even though a carrot had accidentally been knocked into the ranch but I've seen that happen at other pizza buffet. But with supply issues and so on I get that If they aren't swamped not having more than basics out, and I didn't ask for anything to be added so I'm not sure how that would have been. Price was reasonable enough, just shy of $10 before tip for a buffet with water. Staff was very friendly when helping customers but with that open "window" you can easily hear the in the kitchen banter between staff. Next time I will probably just order something for togo or if we do dine in I'll just order one or two pizzas for the table. read more

My husband and I had lunch at this venue on Thursday 9/6/24. Pizza Inn NRH I normally get water, not because I'm cheap, but because I don't drink a lot of soda. I took a couple sips of my husbands Pepsi....Do you want to know why???? it's because their water tastes like total crap! I might as well drink soda if their water tastes bad. Soooo.. didn't hear it, but my husband did. the two woman that worked that day popped their mouthes off talking crap about their customer. My husband and I met at a Pizza Inn years ago. We both worked for Pizza Inn for over 7 yrs. This is the only PIzza Inn thats open that he and I can reminisce about. Not no more! Friday night pizza night, Duke boys or Incredible Hulk, sports banquets or out with friends, Pizza Inn was a staple. Have visited this one 2-3 times over the last 10 years or so and dealt with the dirty, the dry old pizza on the buffet because of all of the memories. It's time to be honest on this place. It's filthy. From the floors to the walls to the dusty (oh my Lord nasty) baseboards and outlets, this place has failed. The pizza on the buffet was old, hard and just stayed there. In the half hour I was there, 2 new pizzas came out. When I got there the food was already dried out, hard and inedible but it's my all time favorite, Pizza Inn so I filled my plate and ate it. Sadly, this place will just be a memory from now on. I don't see why I would go back until / unless there is a major cleanup. The service as far as drinks was great. My plates stacked up from salad, pizza and desert but that's okay. Like the old days, you wanted a mountain of plates to see the carnage left behind. Good luck my old memory! read more

Can I just say wow! I have never ever ever ever had such terrible service in my life ever! From the guy that I assume owns it to his employees. I'm not even going to go into detail on what happened. But apparently you can only ask for one pizza at the buffet. Mind you there is 4 of us. We only asked for 3 pizzas. My sister went to go ask for a pizza for the buffet and the lady was absolutely insanely rude. The guy could've cared less kept interrupting me while trying to explain what happened. He told me to hurry up cause he was busy. Like what.... That's insane to me I've never been treated like this at all. Our server was amazing (she has blonde hair) she was the only good experience. I'm just baffled. The two ladies and the guy just horrible. I'm a server and I've never treated anyone like that in my life. Mind you we weren't being rude when asking for pizzas. At all.. I hope that blonde girl finds a better job with better people she deserves it! But the other ppl you deserve to work there. Also, this was my brothers choice to come here for his birthday. We haven't been in years. I see why now. He kept saying sorry very conceitedly and slapping his hand down. Not sincere at all. He just didn't even care and you could tell. That lady that was rude kept interrupting me while trying to talk as well and kept arguing with my sister. I just don't understand. Our server even apologized for that lady with brown hair and said she's just like that because she's worked here for 15 years. How is that our fault. My family, extended family, and I have patronized this Pizza Inn for decades. We're there on average once a week. The previous owners were family friends, and one of the waitstaff actually considers us family to him. So we have been faithful customers... right up into the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been almost universal for restaurants to offer curbside pickup during COVID-19, and we have enjoyed curbside service at this Pizza Inn on the same weekly basis since the pandemic started back in March... up until a couple of weeks ago. There is a new manager running the place, and she has zero use for people taking precautions due to COVID-19. She has been extremely rude to me during my last two visits - both on the phone and in person, and this evening when I asked for the pizza to be brought out to my truck, she obliged. But when she got out there, she stuck her finger in the window of my truck and snarled, "I don't like you; you're the ONLY one who does this to us, and we're BUSY!" (Damn those pesky customers.) The two things I don't understand are: (1) if I park across the street and ask for delivery, they'll send a driver right over with the order, and (2). my truck parked in front of their door (near which their counter and cooking area are located) is closer to deliver a pizza than most of the tables in their dining room! At any rate, if you're taking precautions due to COVID-19, I can tell you first-hand this Pizza Inn DOES NOT WANT YOUR BUSINESS. I will never eat here again, they have horrible customer service and when you request a specific pizza they don't even inform the kitchen and will have you repeatedly waiting and asking for the same thing. They steadily have an attitude with you and ignore you when you try to speak to them. The lady that takes the drinks when you come in to eat the buffet has a bad attitude. Absolutely loved it! What an awesome, hefty shot of nostalgia! I was just commenting to some of my friends and family about pizza buffets and how special they are when they're done right. We mentioned how certain pizza chains have gone to all carry-out/delivery and don't offer buffets anymore. Thanks to Pizza Inn, I got my fix of red/white checkered tables, central pizza buffet table, salad bar, and arcade games. We had to wait a bit for them to stock the buffet table, but once they got rolling, the pizza was hot, tasty, and more than enough for our large crew! We topped off the night by playing Pac-Man on the arcade table and getting gumballs on our way out the door. Huge thank you to Pizza Inn for keeping this place going. This place is super close to my office and we've come several times. The staff are all friendly and the price is right. Walking in I feel thrown back to the pizza buffet of the 80's. There's the central island covered in pizzas. At one end is salads and pudding and the other nachos or pasta. Off to the side is a little desert pizza station.
