So, I was a bit too drunk to remember how Pizza Joe's was lol but took photos and vaguely remember eating some 'za. I'm just thankful that they were open at whatever hour I was blitz'd and needed food. Thanks Joe's! They are pretty much in the middle of Duval Street so super convenient to wander to also!

After a night of drinking on Duval, this is the place to pick up a slice. The woman here serving us was really friendly taking our order. Many different kinds of slices are for sale, and hot slices coming out all the time. My favorite is the meat lovers with tasty sliced sausage on it. They prices are cheap, around $4.50 a slice, they also have fountain drinks for sale. They lose a star for only accepting cash, they need to get with the program and start accepting credit card and Apple Pay!

When it's 1am in the morning and your body is craving food, look no further than Pizza Joes. Well, so long as you're in Key West on Duval Street. Because there's nothing else open and even if there were, nothing is going to be as tasty. Pizza Joes offers a variety of pre-made sliced pizzas, plus the option to create your own. These are huge pizzas and delicious. We chose the meat lovers and pepperoni slices. Hot and fresh and nothing better at 1am. You can get it to go or eat outside on one of the high top tables and chairs. What I found really cool about this place is that they do not charge police, firemen or EMTs. Love that. We will definitely be back.

I only gave this place a 2nd star because they allow 1st responders to eat free. I visited this establishment yesterdaym and when I asked at check out if they gave military discounts, which is usually only 10%, the owner barked "No, sorry". Ok, fine. Not all places do, but he had an attitude about it, as of military were scum that he couldn't be bothered with. For the previous 5 days I've been raving to friends and family how polite and welcoming the locals were of out of towners. Not this guy. The pizza: I was hoping that my 2 slices of pepperoni which I carried to my B&B to eat while packed for my departure would make up for the gruffness of the owner. Big disappointment. Def not one of the best or top 10 I've ever had. Certainly won't be going back on my next visit and I recommend that all military personnel visiting or stationed in NAS Key West dine elsewhere where your service is appreciated. And there's got to be better pizza on the island! read more

He didn't have the kind of slice I wanted because it was the end of the night. BUT he was so friendly and tried to give me TWO slices free. He also tried to give me my drink for free. I appreciated the gesture but he has to make a living too, so of course I gave him money. I believe in karma and doing good for others. I would recommend this place a million times over not just because he was so friendly but because the pizza was amazing too. Thank you for being such so great!! read more

Yep, one of the other reviewers hit it on the spot. This IS drunk pizza. But it's not bad drunk pizza. We've been going to Fantasy Fest for 5 years. We hit this pizza spot to fill our drunk bellies. And we APPRECIATE it! This year, they have a new guy working the place. He had absolutely NO personality! The old guys that worked there made it a more fun place to stop. They lost a star for that. So if you are out hitting the bars on Duval and need a slice of pie, go ahead. You won't be disappointed. The slices are very generous. read more

Got in late first night in Key West and asked front desk for pizza suggestion. So glad they said Pizza Joe's. Was under 30 minutes just have $26 cash ready. Totally worth it! Very large pie and perfect. Crust and sauce so much better than the pizza chains here and better than the other local spots. A little sheen of grease on top too which is how we like it. Pizza Joe's is our go to pizza place for now on for a late night fix read more

We would recommend this place 100%. Not only is the pizza outstanding, their support for law enforcement is admirable! We went in to just grab a quick slice, it was seven of us; my husband who's a LEO, one of my girlfriends who's a LEO, and her husband who's a firefighter, the rest of us are not law enforcement or first responders. We got our slices and drinks for all seven of us and were told that our money is no good there and he thanked my husband and friends for their service. I was totally touched. With so much negativity towards law enforcement these days, it was truly refreshing to actually have someone express some positivity and appreciation for what first responders have to deal with on a daily basis. Thank you for the delicious pizza and for your support for law enforcement! We are sure to be back next time we're in town. read more

Horrible service. I called in an order for a large pepperoni pizza they said I could pick up in 25 minutes. Then I walk there which takes 25 minutes and the line is 40 minutes long. What a waste of time. I literally made an account just to rip this place Bc of their complete lack of respect of customers' time. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I was Walking down duval and stoped in for a mid-day snack. I ordered 1 slice and a water. The margarita slice came out piping hot and was ok. Thin and crispy but it could have used a wee bit more cheese and sauce. FIY cash only. I bet this place gets busy in the early hours of the morning when every one leaves the bars. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would just for service- my friend stopped in to get Pizza and got 2 drinks (one for me) Guy said if we needed refills to come back- so we decided to stand in front of his shop for the Christmas Parade with our kids- went back in to get a refill and was told he hadn't served us at all- like WHAT? I'm kind of hard to forget with short lavender hair- I'm local and live here- first and LAST time after the dude was so rude to us- do yourself a favor and go to Trolley or Paradise Pizza! read more

Stopped here on our first night on vacation. Expensive for bland pizza. We ordered a whole pizza for $22, pizza had 0 flavor. They have a great location and are open late, but the quality is worse than that of Sam's Club. I think the ratings that give it an average of 3 stars are fake, and done by friends or family. So this rating is an attempt to warn people to not go here and get the most unauthentic pizza I've had in a while read more

My boyfriend and I were on vacation from West Virginia escaping the cold. We were walking around trying to find somewhere to eat. We walked by pizza joes once and kept walking. I couldn't stop thinking about it, naturally we came back and got a slice. I got the pepperoni and my boyfriend got the veggie. Both were huge and delicious. Very well priced as well. This small but comfy place happened to be directly next to the bar I was drinking at, so i stopped in for a few slices. Thin crust, nice toppings, crispy, yummy. Before even ordering our pizza a woman behind the counter came out and insulted me and my friend's clothing. Shouldn't have ordered. Then my other friend went up to order and was treated very rudely. Got the buffalo chicken pizza and it was very soggy and almost not fully cooked. Man behind the counter was nice, but will not ever go back. read more

Overall, the food quality was okay. Portion sizes were average however, the Fish & Chips came with 2 small strips of fish buried under a thick layer of oily breading on top of a huge mound of fries. Once I unburied the fish it was tasty & fresh but not much of it. My husband enjoyed his shrimp scampi but it was seemed to be lacking something. Unfortunately, the service does not measure up to the type of restaurant they portray themselves to be. The server was not particularly friendly nor attentive. In fact, happy hour is already on the list for our next visit. The sangria was so good that we may have lost track of how many glasses we had. The tapas format made it easy to try a variety of dishes, and everything we ordered was flavorful and well prepared. There wasn't a single plate that made us wish we'd ordered something else. What I liked most was how relaxed everything felt. We took our time, shared dishes, drank sangria, and enjoyed the afternoon without feeling rushed. I think the owner should stop thinking only of himself, money, and the next job he has lined up and maybe support his two kids that are in college, living on own and loving life. This is not about money. I have no desire to go there. Mom has been taking care of us and brought us up to be strong, smart, and taught us to never rely on anybody but ourselfs to get what we want. Michael is running a department in one of the most popular casina in ac and i just made the deans list in criminal law. Its funny that the people who will read this will know more about us then you. This is just a reminder of the dead beat dad you were and continue to be. O by the way...it was your sons birthday tonight, and incase you forgot he is 25 and more of man that you'll ever be. A trip to this establishment literally ruined my entire vacation! Despite being located on an incredibly liberal street and immediately next to the most popular gay bar in Key West, they flaunted their support for extreme right wing views by playing the Fox Opinion network nonstop. I will never again give one cent to this establishment and I encourage everyone to boycott this establishment that takes gay dollars to support the views of those aiming to ruin our lives and strip our constitutional rights. read more

Pizza Joe's is an anti-gay establishment. Also, the pizza is terrible and everything on the menu is overpriced. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy. The food is second rate and the owners spit in the face of LGBTQ patrons before they even walk in the door. It's a great place if you're looking for diarrhea and self-hate. read more

I stopped in for a quick slice and was disappointed--the pizza wasn't fully cooked. The dough was still soft and underdone, which made it hard to enjoy. Maybe just a one-off, but definitely expected better. Hoping it was just a bad moment and not the norm. read more
