The Grand ma pies are best that I've had anywhere else. The sauce is sweet and the dough is perfect. You won't be disappointment.

We had a party of 4 and arrived at about 3pm, we didn't realize that the dining room didn't open till 4pm but they let us sit down in the dining room and we had to order from the counter which was no big deal. They did have a young lady in the dining room but she said she was not a waitress, this is just my opinion but they should let her wait on tables when something like this comes up so she can get the experience to become a waitress. Food was delicious, we all had different chicken dishes and all of us loved what we had. Prices were very fair. Definitely will be going back soon. They also do a pasta night and a chicken night the was very reasonable.

I also noticed at the restaurant that the guy making the pizza was touching money but never washed his hands. Then he proceeded to go back to playing with the dough! Anyway, we get home to find a piece of plastic and a hair in our pizza. When we called, the person on the phone acted shocked. This isn't the first incident we've had but we gave this place another shot since the pizza was somewhat decent. If my child would have gotten that plastic, we would've had bigger problems. I would never return or recommend anyone go here. Unsanitary practices in the front of the store, so I can't imagine what goes on in the back.

I haven't been here in a while, the owner it seems invested some money to transform the dining room to have multiple parties. There was a glass wall partition and I saw another family party happening on this Saturday afternoon. (We had the side with the bar ;)) House wine bottles were on the table but it's Saturday so I went with a Vodka Martini because I'm fan-say. The lunch menu was nice with a choice of Chicken Parmesan, Veal Marsala or Sole Oreganto. I went with the veal! First, shareable starters came to the table. Roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella on top of tomatoes and rolled salami. So so good, I'd be happy with this and the bruschetta that was served. The veal came out and the sauce was very flavorful. Nice Marsala with quality mushrooms. Mmm mm! The surprise for us was the dessert trays. Various Italian cookies (I think I took all the pignoli cookies!) it was a nice ending to our meal. There are lots of places to choose when you have large family gathering, Goccia D'oro was a great choice, every dish was delicious and plentiful. Hey, we're Italian! We want good food when we meet for a few hours

We had a 630 reservation but 2 of us got there 20 minutes early. The Bar is soo small that you really can't sit there to wait. They actually sat us right away, even though the full party of 5 was not there. That was a plus. The waiter was on point. He came over everytime one of the other guys staggered in to give them a menu and ask what they wanted to drink. I had the grilled octopus and a 8oz filet with lobster truffle mashed potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked , the rest of the food was delicious. All 5 of us had great food. No complaints from one for anything. And yes , the waiter was great again. I'd definitely go back and I would definitely recommend this place, even though my review is not really going to make a difference, since this place has a great reputation already.

Our recent visit was no different. We stopped at the bar for a drink prior to to moving to our table. The bartender was quite good as well as personable. I had a Bacardi and diet Coke and my wife had a lemon drop martini which she said was probably the best she has ever had. A note to future guests: the bar is quite LOUD. The locals that inhabit the bar are quite vocal and boisterous. We have noted this on each occasion. We then moved to our table. The atmosphere is very comfortable and romantic. Our server was prompt and knowledgeable. I had the marinated Skirt Steak. It was awesome! Perfectly marinated and cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes and green beans that accompanied it were fantastic. My wife went with the Chilean Sea Bass with Lobster Risotto. She noted the Sea Bass was cooked to perfection: moist and flaky. Very good. She did note that there was a minimal amount of lobster added to the risotto. But overall very enjoyable. We definitely recommend Vittorio's . Next time we are in town I'm sure we'll stop in again.

The place has a good amount of seating area including high tops, low booths, bar table, and a private room. There is also two unisex restrooms. I came with my boyfriend before an event at Farmingdale State College and we were on a time crunch. I made a reservation on OpenTable but it was not busy at all. We got greeted and seated immediately upon walking in. Then, a server came with ice water for the both of us before our actual waiter came to introduce herself and ask if we were ready to order. Shortly after ordering, the waitress brought us a plate of complimentary bread that comes with garlic on top and olive oil dip on bottom. We got the fried calamari which was perfectly battered (not too little nor too thick) and fried perfectly (not too burnt nor too pale). The taste was great and went well with the marinara sauce. The Clams Oreganata were delicious too - very meaty and flavorful with a nice sauce and lemon to squeeze on top. The Clams Vespa is very unique and creamy. It reminds me of a white Alfredo sauce with baked clams. They had a huge variety of drinks and it was hard for me to choose, but the lady recommended me the Sicilian Kiss which is a strawberry flavored cocktail. It is supposed to be on the sweeter side but the alcohol was strong too. As for our main entree, we got the Papperdelle Bolognese which was a veal, pork, beef ragu on ribbon pasta. Very well cooked and the taste and texture went perfectly together. We were so full, but never skip on dessert! I'm personally not a fan of cheesecake, but they have creme brulee cheesecake and rainbow cookie cheesecake which I would have loved to try if it wasn't for the cheesecake. But I was happy to find out I could order the rainbow cookie gelato that usually comes with the cheesecake. That was yummy! The texture reminded me of the cake mix Ice-Cream from Carvel and the flavor is not too strong. Overall, great vibes and service. Will definitely be back to the the pizza and other pastas.

Love Italian food. Love this restaurant…read more We went out for an evening dinner and one of us being in the mood for Italian, we gave this place a shout. Excellent call. It's a white tablecloth restaurant that serves some of the best Italian food I've had. And I've had a lot. The dinner starts with some terrific rolls and oil. Had to ask for some ground pepper and cheese, which they quickly oblige. The arugula salad may be the best arugula salad I have ever had. Large, fresh, the roasted portobello mushrooms and roasted peppers were outstanding, the goat cheese and balsamic dressing were just perfect. I had the eggplant Parmesan. I may have had better, but this one is right up there. The portion size was large, the sauce was outstanding, and I chose the angel hair pasta as my side, and that too was terrific. Exquisite evening definitely would go back there again.

So, I was excited to see this legendary brand open an Italian a restaurant. These are my thoughts........ When you walk in you're greeted by impeccably dressed and friendly staff and a beautify thought out restaurant. Check! First, I ordered the calamari with a side of both marinara and fra diavalo sauce. This was where my expectations started slipping. The breading was absolutely bland and added nothing special. The plain marinara you could get from a jar sauce. The fra diavalo sauce was pretty much the marinara with Tabasco stirred in to it. It's not that any of it was horrible, it was just boring. Then what was ordered for dinner was a plate of Penne ala Vodka and a Pizza Margherita. They both had nothing exceptional about them and truthfully were bland and unremarkable. This is a place that you bring people who don't know anything about good Italians food and just want basic flavor. Truthfully, the corner pizzeria has better flavor. I wouldn't drive just to go there again. Come on guys, step up your game!
