We've tried many of the indian pizza around the Bay, and La Val's is the best at it and our go-to spot. It seems like a family owned spot that we have many of our friends enjoy. They have good prices and really great sauces - even the non-Indian pizzas are enjoyed by friends. Terrible pizza. Pretty simple. The crust was super soft and flavorless, with sharp pointy bits randomly spread throughout where the shredded cheese burned and became daggers for the roof of your mouth. The sauce tased like uncooked flour... red uncooked flour paste. The pepperoni were flimsy and flavorless, hidden under a thick layer of congealed cheese. The cheese choice was super weird, a bunch of partially cooked shredded low moisture stuff that tasted like wax. Gross all around. Made for a lot of chewing. One of the worst things about this meal was it came almost room temp. It was cold, bad tasting, and slimy with oil. Just awful. Oh! And to top it off (literally), they covered the whole pie in what can only be described as yard trimmings. Flavorless curled brown leaves and twigs that we had to pick off after I nearly cracked a tooth on one of the twigs. TL;DR:. Terrible. You're better off going hungry. read more
