This review is little overdue, but I feel the need to share my experience at this pizza joint. We went on a Thursday night a few wks ago with my kids and husband and the service was ridiculously horrible. We ordered the special which includes pizza and wings. The pizza was just average, nothing special. The worst part were the wings. They took forever and they arrived after we finished our pizza which I find to be annoying esp since the place was practically empty. My husband went to the staff multiple times to ask about the wings and the dbag who he dealt with was extremely rude!! I get that this ain't no Spagos or Nobu, but wtf!!!! We have 2 kids and the place is empty!! Instead of apologizing for the lack of service, you have the nerve to bust an attitude! Really? To make matters worse, a manager came to our table to apologize and said he would give us a free coupon for a meal, but that they are out of the coupons. Again, really? So you're sorry for having a dumb employee and you're making a promise for a promise? What? Avoid this place! Not worth the wait for wings or their mediocre pizza. Ordered our dinner at 8:10 received hot wings at 8:50. I did tell manager he said they are coming. 40 minutes, that's a long time for hot wings. I also ordered pizza which was great as usual plus my favorite potato wedges with ranch. Those came out in a timely manner but 40 minutes for wings. They were not THAT busy. Manager always very nice and even shakes my kid's hand. Maybe just a mistake this time but an I'm sorry would have been nice or a salad bar for next time. Very disappointed!!! Looking for a place to go at 5pm with my family for dinner. Looked very familyish but was mistaken. There were tv's everywhere which usually isn't a problem but these had scary fight scenes and graphic sex scenes. Please be forewarned and don't bring your little ones here. read more

Let me just start with I never leave a bad review of a place except they get the exception today. When this location was ME n EDS I went extremely often. The lunch special was always a great deal, the staff was friendly and the pizza was fantastic. Sad to say all those things went far down hill. I have given this place 2 attempts and have been disappointed every time. The staff was not friendly, they raised prices (which I can understand) but to charge me for take out was something I hadn't seen ever from a pizza place. I ordered the Pizza Man Special and wings. Both were very good. I've never had any issues with this location. Food arrived 13 minutes early so that was pleasant surprise. Also I made alterations to the toppings and my pizza order was correct. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I ordered a small pizza and wings plus a $5 tip it came out to be over $40. That is pricey for a small pizza and 6 wings. I don't eat pizza often but I will comeback again. read more

Best pizzas in Camarillo, but I only say that because they're the only pizza restaurant that puts pesto on their pizza and delivers (yes I know that presto pasta has pesto pizza but I don't wanna leave my house and also it's gross). Also they're efficient and a couple of their delivery boys are really cute. read more

Our first time at Pizza Man Dan's. Ordered a medium Pizza Man special. Glad the young girl on the phone recommended the deep dish style. The crust was amazing. Almost like garlic bread. Waste Of Money!! The food quality is terrible! I ordered a calzone for about $10 and it was the saddest, tiniest thing ever. It was pretty much empty. My kids and I love pizza man dans. I do wish the salad bar was kept more fresh, so it wouldn't depend on what time we go on whether or not I can have a salad. We have been to this location many many times. It is such a fun space for the kids. The food is great and it is ready fast. The wings are much too saucy, so keep that in mind, perhaps order light sauce? The flavor choices are spicy or bbq. Perhaps Parmesan, garlic, Asian etc would be a great option to add? read more

Was pleasantly surprised at how good the pizza is- definitely something Moorpark needs. I mistakingly ordered the deep dish and didn't care for it. But their version of thin crust is excellent. Have been a handful of times and it's consistently good! read more

I just ordered here tonight for delivery. I ordered a gf veggie pizza without cheese, because I am allergic. I thought it tasted bad but didn't realize until a couple bites into my second slice that it had cheese, even though I specified no cheese. They didn't apologize but sent a new pizza a while later. This time making the mistake of ringing the door bell when I specified to call and not ring the door bell. I told this to the driver and he said "right". So basically they messed up the only two things I specified. Also this new pizza has less toppings, and barely any cashews which I paid extra for. Now I'm disappointed and sick. read more

Worst place ever. They were slow, got my order wrong and EVERY tqble was dirty. This is at 5pm on Friday. There were 4-5 people working but no one seemed to care about bringing plates to people for their pizza or to clean up. My order was wrong and I wanted a refund as I had an appointment to go to. This was my worst experience at any restaurant ever. Extremely bad customer service and rude employees, including the shift supervisor. I went there with my grandparents to enjoy some dinner but it turned into a horrible experience. We ordered a pizza w/o bacon and instead they put ham on it when that wasn't even apart of the pizza ingredients. We asked them to make a new pizza because of their mistake and meanwhile none of the 7 employees bothered to pick up the wrong pizza or the remnants of our appetizer. We were left staring at the pizza. Then 30 minutes later, we call over an employee to pick up our stuff and he was extremely rude and disrespectful. He showed us his punch out card saying i'm off of work. He's asking us if he should pick it up!! Where's the common sense?? He then went on to say we're being rude to him instead. Horrible customer service. We then asked for the supervisor who's "busy" for 20 mins. This store has no clue about the value of customers. The supervisor came and also had an attitude problem. She came prepared with the refund and said we can take it and leave. She didn't even address the problem. Then she said we're venting out on her. Nobody even bothered to say sorry once! All the employees have major attitude problems. I will never go back to this place and I would recommend the same for everyone else. I'd give this place zero stars if I could!!!! The front cash register and counter was filthy, floor in the cooking area filthy, and worst of all there were TONS OF KNATS on the salad bar food!!! Pizza is pretty good. Service is great, delivery came in timely manner with pizza still hot from even though I ordered from the other side of town. Atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice too when I dined in. Kid friendly with arcade, could use some more games. My new go to pizza place. read more

It was late and most places were closed but I noticed Pizza Man Dans was still open. I placed an order around 10:25 pm and they said my order should be here by 11:06pm. I didn't get here until around 11:20pm. I requested they knock on the door because I didn't want to be rude and wake people up but they rang the doorbell anyways. It might've been an off night, but I learned my lesson here, make the trip over there, don't order delivery. Passing this on so someone doesn't make the same mistake I did. I've had good times inside this place but I would never order delivery from them again. read more

Service was ok bit not that good I ordered a salad I got the salad but lettuce and then all the topping were SOKED in water, I asked for some that was not soked they said ok but they gave me some soked toppings again I ended up having a salad with only lettuce and ranch. The pizza tasted like someone got a frozen Canadian bacon pizza then cooked it in a oven and took the Canadian bacon off it also tasted very processed. They also messed up the order SO much I asked for thin crust and they gave me thick I used a $19 coupon they charged me over $20 on 1 pizza. The service was crap I was super angry at them and they didn't do anything about it. Anyway, my experience here was horrible 1 star. read more

I'm way overdue for this review i am extremely grateful towards pizza man dans I had read in a previous yelp reviews about how they offer a doughless calzone (Keto) the lady on the phone was extremely helpful and went ahead and process my ordered upon arrival I started to wonder how many carbs this pizza had my brother called and asked the guy on the phone was simply awesome he called around and roughly gave me a round about on how many carbs it might of have I am a little sad I didn't know exactly how much but extremely grateful for there awesome service I receive Who ever is training you guys my respect he/she has done an awesome job once again thank you so much you definitely have my business and my referral to all my Keto friends you guys rock! read more

REALLY? We live 1/2 an hour from this place and yet they find it necessary to place their advertisement on our front door AND RING THE DOORBELL. Probably wouldn't have been such a big deal if they hadn't had to scale a 6' security gate at 7:30 in the morning. Luckily our pit bull was still in the house.
