This is a nice pizza spot. The customer service was kind, and the pizza was made well and tasteful.

0 stars. First off pasta portion was so small for the price and the noodles were practically undercooked. You can't really mess up frozen garlic bread Pizza had NO cheese or sauce. It was bread and some more bread. Spent almost $100 on this extremely disappointing meal. Decided to go because the Yelp reviews were not bad, but they were definitely not this detailed. Service was horrible to top everything off. never again

The veggie pizza we ordered was delicious. The crust was extremely flavorful and fresh. They also have cheesy garlic breadsticks that we ordered (which weren't shown on the menu). Were good too. Very reasonably priced and casual ambiance if you're not looking to sit at a fancy place.

In actuality, the pizzas aren't bad and the location is fantastic for the summer concert series. But the issue is management and how they were so unprepared for the summer concerts and how many customers it could potentially bring. They had 1 cashier, who also doubled as a drink filler, who also doubled as the person to call out when orders are done and to hand out/box pizzas to customers. While we were standing in line, there was 1 person behind the counter making pizzas and I definitely felt sorry for the person. There was a line to the door and they were so backed up... Whoever is in charge of staffing this place needs to maybe think twice about how many employees they need to efficiently run an establishment. We waited in line for probably close to 40 minutes - the guy taking orders and ringing people up was slow slow slow.. I think he took one order and went back to box/hand out pizzas and then come back to take the next order. It continued this way all night... We finally got to order and at least got a few beers while we waited. At this point the concert had started at around 8:40pm... we got to enjoy the concert and when we came back about an hour later, we had to sit down and wait cause our pizzas were STILL not done yet.. WTF?! How long does it take to make a pizza and then put it in a wood-fire oven?! I mean.. doesn't it take like 4-6 minutes to cook a pizza in a wood-fire oven?! We finally got our pizzas - the Kemah bomb and the hawaiian... loaded with toppings, small personalized pizza - partly burnt crust. But whatever, we waited so long and we were hungry! Oddly, the pizza wasn't hot - again, WTF?! We just watched it come out of the wood-fire oven! Maybe the oven wasn't hot enough and that's why it was taking so long to cook the pizzas?! But seriously... this wasn't the first summer concert event of the season and definitely not the last. You would think they'd know to to properly run this place by now... The pizzas itself weren't bad, but they definitely weren't great. They weren't hot, like I said before, the crust were kinda burnt on one of them.. The toppings were ok but the bomb did not have much flavor to it, surprising considering it had the most toppings on it! We saw so many people complain, and after waiting for over an hour request their money back.. I was tempted to tell people to not order cause they didn't know what they were getting themselves into. The staff were not prepared and could not handle the business. I think at this point, they should've probably turned away new customers or tell them that the wait would be over an hour after ordering. I mean, I even asked how long the wait for the pizzas would take and he just said he didn't know.. Ummm.. NEXT! Go somewhere else! There are so many other options in Kemah, especially in this area of the boardwalk!

The pizza was 10 inches and cut into 8 slices that were fluffy enough to give you the soft bed of dough sauce and cheese but thin enough to hold a nice crispy on the bottom and compliment it with a bite. The sausage and peppers pizza was delicious. Exceeded my expectations . The toppings were placed on there generously as well which added to the rating and taste especially. Sit outside and enjoy the view of the boardwalk. Maybe you'll see the magic man!

Gluten-free and dairy free review:…read more My daughter had a pizza that was gluten and dairy free. She got a Hawaiian pizza, but please know they put pepperoni on their Hawaiian. I believe it was the closest thing to Had. They were very willing to change it for me, but we decided she could pick them off. We went during the afternoon. We're not a lot of people were around, but it looked like it was really really fun place. it's right across the street from the hotel we were staying at. Down the street from Kemah board walk. I can't believe I forgot to take a picture of the pizza, but my daughter gave it a four out of five

What we ordered was not for the weak. I did order a salad because -balance. The salad was great, very substantial and a meal on its own. We ordered a crawfish pizza. Never had crawfish pizza, never even thought about it. Genius, just genius. All the accompanying toppings perfectly came together. Nothing was missing this is perfection on a pizza. It is a greasy one because of the generous amount of cheese. My biggest mistake was not taking another to go. Hesitantly we ordered the inferno wings. Not because we thought it was going to be too hot, but because we were afraid it was going to be all hype and we were going to be left wanting more heat. We were wrong. So wrong. I will repeat these are not for the weak. These wings were every bit of what they said they were going to be. They were not playing any games. I only wish they came in like a one or two piece option. Only because I'm sure eating an entire order would send someone into a pancreatic attack (been there). Inferno lives up to their name and highly recommend them. Prepare yourself though. If you order them have all your drinks lined up. More than one. Have plenty of paper towels. If you're wearing masacra make sure its waterproof. Have other food options readily available and DO NOT touch these with your fingers. Once you are ready to throw in the towel (realistically after two bites), head down across the street and grab an ice cream to cool you down.

My family and I came here for a late lunch consisting of two big supreme pizzas and mango habanero wings. The wings came first. On first bite, my tongue was greeted by a short, spicy burst that eventually gave way to a more tangy taste. They were pretty sizable as well. Unlike certain pizza places that are frugal with their chicken, Luigis does right those of us whose love them some poultry. The pizza is a certified winner in that it's baked fresh. Close to crispy crust, cheese and sauce meshing well, and lots of toppings. I don't know the method as to how the pies were baked, but I was glad there wasn't that smoky aftertaste. Because of its fairly large size, I was full after a couple of slices. I inquired about their delivery service. They don't have anyone in-house who performs deliveries, but they partner with DoorDash. I have to check my app because I'd sure love to enjoy some Luigis at home.

I'm finally dusting off my old 2017 review for Boondoggles to provide an update…read more I returned here last night for a pre-birthday outing. While randomly Googling, I remembered Boondoggles and decided to give the 'old place' another try. My first visit was for a dinner with classmates from UHCL; my second was with my brother. The eatery looked practically the same as it did nearly eight years ago. Its dive bar meets German beer hall vibe is still very much alive, and the place was still bustling with people. I came in with fish and chips on my mind, but a lengthy scan of the menu led me to the Florentini Chicken, while my brother ordered the shrimp po-boy. The Florentini Chicken was really good, and I think it's a solid choice for the health-conscious. The chicken was tender and the vegetables were perfectly crisp. My only wish was that the entire dish had been a bit larger, as the mashed potatoes were gone in just a few spoonfuls. On reflection, while the Florentini Chicken deserves a try, I'll probably stick with pizza next time. I asked my brother how he liked his shrimp po-boy, and he had no complaints, so I'll take that as a sign he enjoyed it. Price-wise, while the costs may have risen over the years, they were not unreasonable.
