Booking the room was so easy one of the managers Luke was really nice and accommodating to our requests about decor and how we'd like the tables to be arranged. Everyone's food came out in a timely manner and was delicious. I will say everyone who had drinks from the bar commented on how strong they were so beware if you're not a drinker. Overall we had a great experience and we will be back for regular lunch or dinner service!

Granted, maybe I didn't specify a size so that's my fault but she shouldn't have ASSUMED I wanted the grande size. It was too much for me so my husband had to finish it. I didn't make a big deal about it because I worked in the restaurant industry myself so I try to be kind and respectful but I think seems very sneaky to me. The server should ALWAYS ask what size they want and not assume they want the larger size. That's up-charging. I also wanted to mention that we received a FREE watermelon margarita on the rocks because I think they had an extra which we gladly accepted and weren't charged for. But that doesn't compensate for the $5 upcharge. Most people say I should have contacted the manager but I didn't want to make a big deal over $3 but it's the principle to me. It's just not honest and I don't like that. We still tipped her over 22% but I'm rethinking that now. Maybe I should have deducted that $5 from her tip since I think it was an intentional up-charge. Oh well... As far as the food, we ordered the brisket enchiladas. They were OK. We didn't love the barbeque drizzle on top of the sour cream sauce. It really threw off the flavor in our opinions so that was a bummer. The white queso, chips and salsa were all on-point! We go out to Tex-Mex restaurants every week and the other restaurants don't give us the larger size so it just seems sketchy. I don't think we'll be back for awhile because this left a bad taste in my mouth. Disappointing.

The food is pretty good, as is the green sauce, and now that they added a spicy red sauce the food is even better. The building itself is nice but different tables have different vibes. The manager does go around checking on people but the issues aren't something that make sense to bring up at the time because it's always something different that is lacking. This last visit on Saturday the 11th of April. The hostess, a young short blonde girl (I won't mention the name), was rude. No eye contact, barely acknowledging we are standing right in front of her, definitely no greeting, and no direct communication. Just whispers to the person showing us to our table with a blank expression on her face. This was almost enough for me to decide it was going to be a bad experience. Definitely a bad initial impression. I said hi to her, told her thank you, and everything trying to extend courtesy then I remembered SHE is the hostess not me. Ridiculous. Our waitress that day McKenzie was pretty good, but I felt bad for her. Our table was as far as you can get from the kitchen or wherever the wait staff goes to get water, chips, food etc. and she was having a hard time serving, especially cause she would bring out one thing at a time. For example, she would see we had an empty cup, so she would just leave and come back and drop off a cup without communicating, well if she asked we would have told her, we need chips, water, salsa, napkins. Instead she made a trip for each of these, one at a time. Really weird wait style and very inefficient. She was still good though, because even thought at times she wouldn't communicate at all, she was still observing what we needing and dealing with it. Must be a weird gen z lack of interpersonal skills. I really want to like this place, they're on the cusp of being great, but need to work on consistency.

The restaurant wasn't busy and there were plenty of servers working. We were brought chips and then completely forgotten about. We sat there for 15-20 minutes waiting for someone to come back and even take our drink order. Nothing. What made it worse was watching multiple servers walk right past us without ever making eye contact or checking on us. We finally got up, moved to the bar, and ordered our food there instead. We did let the hostess know about our experience, but no manager or staff member ever came over to apologize or even acknowledge the situation. Really disappointing considering how long we've supported this place.
