I've overlooked this place for far too long. But after needing a late night slice, I'm hooked. My husband grew up in the neighborhood and has always swore that this old school establishment offers up a reliable slice. I've tried ordering the full pies for delivery before which left something to be desired. But the specialty slices are where it's at! I love the counter guy during late night shifts. He's always friendly and helpful in suggesting slices. The chipotle chicken is by far my favorite! Perfectly spicy with a just the right amount of sogginess. I now can't resist stopping when I'm in the area. Definitely worth a visit! read more

DO NOT recommend this place, there are much better pizza options in the area. It is sad and evident that Pizza Park changed ownership or management in recent times. This used to be my preferred pizza joint in the UES for over 10 yrs, but that is now over. The new pizza quality and recipes are exceptionally disgusting. Ordered 4 slices and could only eat 2, we had to throw everything else in the trash. The pizza was soggy, cold, slimy, greasy, and doughy--absolute garbage. Fortunately, there are still some other decent pizza alternatives in the area, do not waste your time and money with this place. read more

I read in reviews that the pizza margherita was excellent, so that's what I ordered when I came by on Monday night. Having left Brooklyn in 2018, I am always grateful to come home to a great slice like this one. There was something different about it than other great pizza margherita that I've had though, an when I looked at the menu I saw that this is actually pizza CAPRESE. Very subtly different from margherita, but pizza expertise is a New Yorker's birthright, so now you know :D read more

Everything I come in this place is popping with ppl, the display case always have a beautiful selection of pies made fresh. All the slices I have had been typical nyc slices with the crisp crust and nice cheese pull, one thing jt misses is the heavy grease which is nice. The service is good, and the ambiance is a typical pizza plac, can't go wrong read more

I called to order a tray of penne alla vodka. I asked how much it was and the guy on the phone told me "don't worry about it; we'll figure it out and let you know." How could the price not already be set? Well, he never let me know and I forgot to reach back out to clarify. Turns out a full tray is $142! I was shocked. I was expecting to pay like $50 plus tip! Solid pizza joint in the upper east side. The pizza has a light, crispy crust/border, good oven char, generous toppings, and low degrees of flop. The staff is friendly and prices aren't too bad. First stop on a personal pizza tour of the upper east side - my boyfriend highly recommended and it hit the spot! I had a slice of vodka sauce pizza and it was served hot! We also shared a grandma style slice and the crust was fantastic. Service was quick and friendly. Ambiance is more geared for to go pizza but we were able to sit and eat. There were also a few outdoor tables. Only a few tables have crushed pepper shakers so that was slightly awkward to have to ask another table. Definitely see myself coming back! read more

Overcharged for 3 half toppings. Online a 3 topping pizza is $27.75(listed under 4 topping). Picked up large with half bacon and half mushroom and pepper. Charged $3/topping for total of $9 extra. Why is it 3 toppings on full pizza online for an extra $3.76 but pick up for 3 halves and get charged $9? I asked before paying and they insisted that's the cost. read more

I love the pizza here especially because they have Whole Wheat Pizza and also Gluten Free. I worked in the area for 15 years and always got my pizza from there. I will make a trip to the city soon so I can get my whole wheat pizza again. I just walked several blocks here passed 3 pizza shops and none of them have either gluten-free or whole wheat pizza. Honestly super disappointed with this place. Stopped by for a 'quick' lunch and it took forever, was so disorganized, and not very good. I saw they had a vegan cheese pizza and I wanted to try it because I can't eat mozzarella cheese. I got up to the front to order and the guy told me to order at the cashier (didn't really make sense but fine). I get to the cashier, tell him what I want, he checks the oven and is like this isn't in. He put it in and disappeared. Kept taking other people's orders while I was trying to order my knots and drink. Finally got to tell him I wanted those and he rung me up. The food came out very quickly which I would later find out means because they didn't heat it up. I tried to get marinara for the knots and that was also another attempt to track them down. I get it, they were busy. But it's also really rude to not pay attention to a customer trying to order food for more than 2 seconds at a time. My vegan cheese pizza was so gross. The cheese was so sticky. I tried to take it off and couldn't. The knots were also hard, cold, and stale. Really frustrating and I didn't even finish it. I wouldn't recommend. read more

I have so much to say about this place. The place may be the only pizzería that's still Italian owned ! That's correct two Italian brothers own it. I've been coming here since the 80s, all their products are fresh and they use the best ingredients (as true Italians) The staff is always courteous, friendly, and with a smile on their face. My food delivery is never wrong and always arrives in a reasonable time. As for the food, you can't go wrong with anything! One of my favorites is the eggplant rollatini. I work at MSKCC and thus am a regular at Pizza Park. If one word can describe this little neighborhood pizza joint it must be this: Incredible. Staff are incredibly friendly and the selections of different pies are incredible! I personally recommend their grandma slice (a thin margharita slice shaped as a sicilian pie) which is incredibly crispy and the tomato sauces that they use on the pie is incredibly aromatic, fragrant, and delicious. Other pies that I recommend include their "bacon ranch and onion" (possibly the most unique slice that you can get in NYC, consists of crumbled bacon, roasted onions, on top of a white cream sauce of ranch. I mean who doesn't like ranch?), vodka slice, and taco slice. I usually get two pies and each slice ranges from 2.00 to 4.00 a slice depending on what you get - definitely having a lunch for less than 10 dollars is feasible here and it'll fill you up. There are always those famous pizza joints in NYC: Di Fara's, Juliana's, Paulie Gee's, Roberta's, etc. But if you want to experience heaven in the Upper East Side, Pizza Park is a must do on your list. read more

Fast old school pizza place near MSK. I really like the real mozzarella with marina stripes. Really good. Salad was good too. I have eaten here several times and that slice I just described is the one. NYC is pizza paradise. Dine in is simple tables and counter service, nothing fancy. I call this place "old faithful" because it's a great neighborhood spot that's always open and the food is fresh. Bonus for still having a fountain soda machine because everyone knows you need one with a slice. Their specialty slices are decent, and the vodka slice is top of the list. Garlic knots you can take or leave, and the salads/chicken parm/dinners are basic. If you are tempted by the taco pizza get ready to eat with a knife and fork and make a mess! read more

This place NEVER fails. I can work night shift or day shift and if I need sustenance, Pizza Park is dependable. The soups come with generous portions of garlic bread. The pasta will feed me for 3 meals. And don't get me started on the Grandma slices. Those are my favorite. You can't go wrong with any of their offerings. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Just left from here and the rude staff stole my boyfriend's bag. We realized we left the bag 2 seconds after leaving .. 2 seconds !!!!! And once we came back in and asked for it the counter man said "I don't got time for this don't you see I'm busy and told us to leave right away" . After we left and called the cops you can see the delivery boys stepping into action watching me and my boyfriend outside and once the cops came all delivery boys left with such haste and the counter man denied everything. As far as food goes beware cause they don't charge by the menu - they make up their own tourist prices. When I asked for a receipt the man legit wrote his own receipt!! Not one that comes out the cash register automatically when you pay. I'm completely disgusted and appalled at what I witness. DO NOT COME HERE!!! They'll steal your bag and your money read more

We were curious about the white pizzas so we tried the norma and that one was nice as well with a lot of textures from the eggplant and tomato. Personally prefer the margarita as it seems to be a more well-rounded pizza and the tomato just can't be missed. It was pretty packed inside when we got there and took the bar seating, so would probably recommend a reservation for larger parties (2+) on evenings.
