    Pizza caprese (not margherita)
    Alexandra K.

I read in reviews that the pizza margherita was excellent, so that's what I ordered when I came by on Monday night. Having left Brooklyn in 2018, I am always grateful to come home to a great slice like this one. There was something different about it than other great pizza margherita that I've had though, an when I looked at the menu I saw that this is actually pizza CAPRESE. Very subtly different from margherita, but pizza expertise is a New Yorker's birthright, so now you know :D

Popular spot for a pizza fix. Always has a variety of options available with friendly service! Ordered the pizza park special and vodka sauce. Pizza park special great for those who enjoy a bountiful amount of toppings. A bit pricy but very satisfying overall. Will definitely return.

Stopped by this Pizza shop located in the Upper East Side of NYC for a few slices. I had the broccoli mushroom which was fine but needed more flavor and more sauce. Service was friendly and efficient.

Solid pizza joint in the upper east side. The pizza has a light, crispy crust/border, good oven char, generous toppings, and low degrees of flop. The staff is friendly and prices aren't too bad. A medium one-topping pie will set you back ~$20. I highly recommend the meat lover and margherita.

The pizza was very bad tonight. It tasted bland and not fresh. I guess we will not go here anymore.

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. I'd love to see more restaurants creatively use these kinds of spaces in the future.

It is located right in the hallway of a subway entrance, next to a bar and across from a coffee shop, and it somehow manages to feel like a cozy, sit-down restaurant right in the middle of NYC. Don't let the odd location fool you, the food here is outstanding. The Neapolitan and Sicilian-style pizzas are both exceptional, with rich, well-balanced flavors and perfectly executed crusts. Every bite tastes high quality. Also, don't skip the house-made lemonade! The experience is even better because of the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They were all so kind to so many people. From offering to keep leftovers in the fridge until a customer was done at their broadway show, to offering a scone to a young child while he and his father waited for their pizza to be done, it was more than just flipping a table and onto the next tip, it was humanity at its best. Be sure to give See No Evil Pizza a try. You certainly will want to come back again for more.

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!

We ended up skipping the appetizers and getting a chicken parmigiana and a half order of the rigatoni vodka! It was just enough for us. The chicken parmigiana was just right. It's their star and we can see why. The chicken was breaded well and dressed in the rich sauce and cheese. The breading was not overdone and the chicken was moist and tasty. The complimentary bread was helpful in mopping up the sauce. It was my wife's favorite for the night The rigatoni was my favorite and I regretted only getting the half order.
