The place seems pretty clean for the most part! I did not see alot of hand washing as they use their bare hands! I was Very disappointed to be honest!! They don't have the best wings in town they are extremely small, not even tossed properly in sauce, over cooked! I may give them a try again for the pizza, i have had the gyro it was pretty good! I went in and asked for a slice of veggie pizza and the guy at the counter was actively eating a slice of pizza and set it down near the food area, proceeded to grab a slice of cheese pizza with his bare hands, then take his bare hands and grab the veggies from the containers. He never washed his hands at any point and also, what happened to gloves people???? I picked my jaw up off the floor, told him he can forget about it, and I left. I ordered off of the Slice website and chose Pizza Pino because it was nearby and the delivery fee was $2.00! Heck yeah! I wasn't in the mood for pizza as I had that at home in the freezer so I ordered 10 buffalo wings at $7.99 and some fries at $2.79. Wings were exceptionally delicious! Fries were good, no complaints and they gave plentiful for the amount. Driver was courteous and showed up a little after 5pm and I seriously have no complaints. The food was good and reading prior reviews, I am glad that I went with take out. I would absolutely order from Pizza Pino's again and for a $2 delivery fee, that just can't be beat and the food was home by the time I got home for work. Nothing beats that! read more

Ordered online and the restaurant changed the quanity from two to one. When we got the food delivered, I called to let them know we were missing part of our order. The man stated it wasn't missing, they changed the order. When I said that I was charged full price online, he insisted that I wasn't, even though I was looking at the reciept and my bank account. My husband and I were willing to wait the 1 hour period (plus delivery time) for them to make a Sicilian style pizza. Neither of us are picky eaters and hate wasting food but after eating one slice we threw it away. It was soggy, the crust was super thick, chewy, and tasted awful. I've never had such detestable pizza in my life! It's pizza for crying out loud! The toppings tasted cheap and weren't fresh. I went here one day to grab my kids a pizza on my way home from work. I didn't care for the pizza, but my kids seemed to like it. The next day, I took my kids back and ordered two bacon burger combos, a shrimp meal and I ordered fish & chips. We ordered our food, and was told it would be about 15 minutes until everything was ready. So we left and went to the store a few doors down, came back 20 minutes later, but the nice gentleman who took our order was walking out with a delivery, I assume, so the only visible worker left, was the cook. I expected the fish to be cod filets or some other similar white fish, but it was one big piece of tilapia on a bun. Not my usual idea of fish and chips, but whatever. The food was just okay, so I don't have any big complaints about it, but the guy cooking the food seemed like he didn't want to be there at all! He didn't even tell us when our food was ready. He just put it on the counter and walked away. Good customer service can go a long way. Somebody should tell that cook that, because this place could possibly lose more business, just because of one very unenthusiastic worker! read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. Let me start with the PROS: The food was plentiful. I ordered the Eggplant Parm platter for 7.59. It came with spaghetti that filled the plate and enough eggplant for two people. It also came with a salad. The salad had little to no dressing on it and I wasn't offered any so that may simply be an oversight. My wife had an Italian sub and she could only eat half of it. We also ordered garlic knots (5 for $2). They were just made fresh and had butter, garlic, and parm. It came with a little container of marinara sauce. We also ordered a deviled crab cake each for $3.50. Now for the CONS: The crab cake started off frozen so although, the outside was crispy, the inside was still cold inside. My wife said it was a little too spicy for her and she couldn't eat it. I couldn't say because I prefer mine to be housed in hot sauce. As for drinks, they only have cans and two-liter bottles. They have fountain service but it had old signs saying "Not Working". They also had a completely empty cooler. The inside only has three old tables and some chairs and a couple of tables outside. They didn't have the air on but they had both front and back doors open with some fans to help circulate the air. Needless to say, it was cooler when we stepped outside. With all the doors open, there were flies in the restaurant and the floors were filthy. The only menu in the place is a huge sign so when you are ready to place your order, you have to walk up to the counter. All in all, I gave it one star because although the food was decent tasting at first and the servings are huge, my wife became ill later that day. I will not be back. We threw our take home boxes away to prevent further illness. So many flies and who knows when the last time they cleaned the place. Plus, the server/cook was rude saying it was a mistake to advertise because they get plenty of the local business already. I hope so because I won't go out of my way again. By the way, I am local as I work about a mile away with 500 other folks so I will be sure to warn my fellow workers to stay away from this place. Ordered my food, and I get a call from the delivery driver speaking to me in an angry demeaning tone of voice saying 'HEY DID YOU ORDER FOOD?" Well yes I did... "WELL I WENT TO ********** PARK PLACE AND THE LADY THAT ANSWERED THE DOOR SAID SHE DIDN'T ORDER ANY DAMN FOOD!" When I first received the call I was totally cool about it. I told him that he went to the wrong apartment. It is ************** Lake Drive. And I even verified on the confirmation email that I put the correct address. Upon arrival he was outside shining a spot light on the neighboring apartments supposedly to find the numbers however this was after 10 o'clock at night. Not THAT big a deal though. After he finally arrived he got out of his vehicle and approached me he started to hand me the food apologizing that it had been a 10 hour day for him and that it was making him tired. I asked him if it was also giving him an attitude as well. He said that he didn't have an attitude and it wasn't his fault. I told him I wasn't even upset about the whole address situation, just at the fact that he immediately took an aggressive stance. He continued to spout garbage as he was going to his vehicle. I called up the store to explain what had happened and the person I spoke to was practically rushing me to hurry up and finish. He told me he was going to speak to the manager and that I should hold on the phone. About 30 seconds later he returned saying I can get a whopping 20% off my next order. No. Sorry Pizza Pino. I came to pizza pino even after reading the last negative reviews. I was greeted by a friendly woman sweeping the floor. Didn't know what to expect but ordered a large pizza thy was absolutely excellent even being from chicago I appreciate a good New York style pizza. I also ordered wings that where some of the best in a long time. Hint hint you like spicy ask for the Farley sauce you must like spicy.
