Extremely Disappointed by the Lack of Professionalism and Reliability‼ To say we are disappointed would be a massive understatement. According to both your website and the sign on your door, Babes Pizza is open on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. With that information, my family and I arrived at 11:00 a.m. with excitement and anticipation. We had chosen Babes Pizza to celebrate my mother's birthday. Although she is no longer with us, we wanted to honor her memory at what was always her favorite place. Instead, we were met with locked doors and a "Closed" sign. We waited until 11:10 a.m., knocked on both the front and back doors, and called multiple times. No answer. No explanation. No employee in sight. Nothing. What makes this particularly frustrating is that this wasn't just a casual lunch stop. We made a deliberate choice to spend a meaningful day at a restaurant that held special memories for our family. To arrive and find that the business could not even adhere to its posted hours was embarrassing, inconvenient, and incredibly disappointing. Frankly, this experience speaks volumes about the standards under which Babes Pizza is now operating. If a business cannot be trusted to open when it publicly states it will be open, it raises serious questions about every other aspect of its operation. I couldn't help but think that perhaps this was a blessing in disguise and a sign that neither the service nor the food would have met the expectations we once associated with Babes Pizza. It's sad to see what was once a place filled with great memories become a source of frustration and disappointment. This experience has made it clear that our family will be creating new traditions elsewhere. I'm genuinely glad that others seem to be enjoying the restaurant under the new ownership. Unfortunately, we never even got the opportunity to find out for ourselves. It would have been nice to simply walk through the doors, be welcomed, and enjoy a meal together in memory of someone who loved your restaurant. Instead, we were left standing outside a locked building, wondering what happened to the standards that once made Babes Pizza a place worth coming back to. Sincerely, Richard Martin, MBA

Pizza - that is not what I ordered.

Went to Babe's Pizza for the first time. It's an interesting little pizza joint. It has a neighborhood seasoned atmosphere. I love the overhead train! Had to wait a little longer than I anticipated for my food to get done. I ordered the garlic cheese bread with marinara sauce and 10" double decker Babe's Special and added black olives. The "Special" was not special; there were no peperoni, no red onions or green peppers on my pizza! (I have pictures to prove it. ) I did see the pizza before I left the restaurant but I thought the toppings I didn't see were hidden underneath the top layer. I spent a total of $32.05. The garlic cheese bread was pretty good. The pizza disappointed mainly becsuse it was not what I ordered. I believe in second chances so I will try Babe's again. Next time I'll get the single layer though.

Double decker pizza! It's really two pizzas but worth every penny! We fed four people.

I'm Italian and from New York so I can be critical when it comes to pizza. This place surprised me. Pizza was excellent. The crust was absolutely delicious. The sign of a good pizza. Service was quick and our waiter was friendly. This cool train themed restaurant has been here since the 70's and still serving up great food!

Babes Pizza has been serving up food in Brandon since 1978. Home of the one and only double decker pizza, this place has a cozy, hometown feel with friendly service and good food. My wife and I visited Babes for the first time on a Friday evening. Parking is tight and limited but at 5pm, this place was quiet. We got seated and looked over the menu. The staff was friendly and came over to get us started. We sat in a corner booth. Babes has been around for a while and the building shows some character. We started with a Greek salad and ordered their double decker meat pizza. This is the first place I have been that serves your salad upside down. At first, a bit confused but we eventually got the salad into bowls. The creamy Italian dressing served with the Greek salad was good. The salad had fresh meats and cheese and was a solid start. Then out came our massive pizza. We ordered a large. Not sure what to expect. This pizza is hefty to say the least. The good amount of meats and cheese and sauce was tasty and filling. I ate 2 slices at dinner. My wife could only eat 1. We took home a lot of pizza. You should try this place and their unique pizza, but for me, it's a one and done. If we venture back to Babes, the regular pizza will suit us just fine. I'd come back here.

I…read moreordered The Butcher's Pizza and the first thing that stood out was the crust--crispy on the bottom, chewy in the right way, and cooked perfectly. They're using a New York-built wood-fired oven with a rotating turntable, so the pizza is constantly moving while it cooks, and you can taste the difference. The cheese melts evenly, the edges get that beautiful fire-kissed char, and the whole pie has that true fire-roasted flavor. The experience inside was just as good as the food. The restaurant is extremely clean, there's a ton of space (great for families or groups), and the staff was super friendly. They took time to talk with me and shared the Brandon location opened in 2018, and that they had to complete special training/certifications to even qualify to buy and operate that oven. You can tell it's a family-run business with real pride and passion behind what they're doing. Even the pizza box is a cool touch--nice branding and attention to detail. Only small critique: I just wish The Butcher's Pizza had a little more topping coverage. Flavor was great just could've used a bit more "loaded" factor for a butcher-style pie. Overall: solid pizza, amazing crust, great people, and a clean, welcoming spot. I'll definitely be back.

Service was quick and easy but I strongly suggest not ordering online or thru the "order" option in Yelp, as the pizza price showed $35 instead of over the phone ordering at $25 for the same exact pizza/size. What we appreciated from this pizza was its nice overall crust, good sized/not too thick dough presence, and quality of the sauce / toppings. We got the Buc Slammer XL for $25. What we found is that the sauce was awesome, though a tad on the light side. Wish they would have put more as it's so flavorful with a little bit of kick to really come through. The sausage topping was delicious, and they did keep to their word with the extra cheese on this pizza. I do think since it had extra cheese and was so thick, it could have baked a couple more minutes to completely melt down but it was still pretty good. While the pepperoni and ham didn't shine at all, overall the pizza was elevated and had a 'real' pizza presence. So many times we've gotten pizza at different places only for it to flop or lack. This one didn't, pretty good presence. It was oily, but that's always the case with any meat pizza that have oily meats... goes with the territory and gets the napkin dab like any other meaty pizza. We are giving this a 4.6 stars, and wish we could have given it a full 5 stars but 2 of the toppings were so plain it hardly came through. So to answer the magic question, yes we'll be coming back to try another pizza variation... and maybe a couple of their other Italian menu offerings. Wondering if they use that same delicious sauce ;)
