Last night there was a little disagreement in my house. Doesn't matter what it was about, but we had argued for so long that the dinner window had all but run out. We had cereal in the house but no milk, cold cuts but no bread. We were fast approaching another absolute meltdown (hangry is a problem in our home), when we found this menu sitting in a desk drawer. They had dropped them off weeks ago in the building, but we hadn't tried it yet. The menu said they took delivery orders until 1/2 before closing (Midnight on Friday and Saturday), so we were good. We ended up ordering through GrubHub. I was a bit gun shy about trying somewhere new after that disaster that was a visit to Grassy Sprain Diner (see that review if you are interested), but ordered we did. We ordered at 11:04 and GrubHub said the food would be here by 11:35 (I admit, I laughed about this, because that didn't sound likely). At 11:35pm, exactly, the doorbell rang (star number one. very timely delivery). The delivery guy was super nice (star number two). The food was piping hot (star number three). Seriously, everything was so hot that I had to let the roll cool off for a minute before I could eat it. Finally, the food was good! (start number four). We ordered fried ravioli (the significant other wanted these). I've never been a fan of fried ravioli, but I tried them and they were actually really tasty. We had boneless wings with mild sauce on them. They were tasty, well cooked and the blue cheese that came with them was amazing. The mild was pretty spicy (which I liked), but i'd be careful about ordering the hot. We also had garlic twists. These were average, run-of-the-mill knots. The price on them was great (five for $2.75) and they were good, they just weren't anything special. Finally we got a meatball and cheese pizza roll. When it came it wasn't exactly a roll. It was more like a calzone that was split open (nothing wrong with THAT!). It was pretty good. Sauces were well packed, and the tomato sauce was hot and rather good. I'm reserving one star until we order again (and we will be back). Consistency is what will make this a five-star spot for us. If you are looking for someplace that delivers late, and shows up quick, you can't go wrong here. We were pretty happy with it. read more

The food has consistently gotten worse. Absolutely no taste at all. The food delivered to me was soggy and runny. They don't get orders right. I ordered a certain item and they sent something else. On top of that they left out the fries that I ordered. This is not the only occasion though. I have seen the quality of their service and food go down. Chicken wings are rock hard. Bad pizza, crazily overpriced, with rude service. 28.50 for a large pie with sausage and peppers- outrageous. They slap you with 'taxes' and 'delivery fees'... And up the street at Joe's is the best pizza around-seriously excellent. The same pie is $8 less. I only tried these guys cause everyone closed earlier because of covid. They so close to the fleet wood train station and convenient if you need to grab a bite after work. Recently tried there fried calamari and it's something I will go back for! ehhh.. ok I don't like bashing places buttttt.. the people working here seem to just go to work and want to run out without caring about what people paid for. I ordered delivery from them and ordered the fresh mozzarella wrap. When I got it, the wrap was FULL of chicken and I do not eat chicken. I called back to let them know that my order was wrong and what they told me was that I should have ordered it and then said "NO CHICKEN" but the menu doesnt specify that the wrap even comes with chicken! I've ordered from them for years. I stopped a few years ago when I ordered a simple Jamaican beef pattie and it had mold...Decided to give them another chance this evening ordering boneless mild wing, honey bbq boneless wings, cheese fries and cheese dogs. The only thing edible was the cheese fries. There was a weird odor and taste to the mild wings my daughter and i couldn't even swallow, (didn't even give it to my dog)! The honey bbq wings were meh at best, (my son who is not picky didn't even eat half)! Cheese dogs had a funky smell to them like old meat sitting in heat, couldn't bring my self to eat them. You used to be good so good! I ordered from here twice, pizza and a calzone. They are one of few places open and delivering in my area after 8 or 9 on a weeknight. The pizza was overpriced at over $20 for multiple toppings, and it was just okay. The calzone was okay, it had a very thick crust, was stuffed with cheese and not enough of the veggies I paid extra to include.!i think a lot of their products are mostly dough and less of fresh, tasty toppings and ingredients. I have dealt with them for a number of years and I can say that at first the quality was meh, then there became a very nice balance of price and taste, and now? The balance has definitely shifted in which prices continue to rise and the quality has undoubtedly fallen. IF the girl answers when you call to place an order, make sure that idiot repeats the order back to you because there have been plenty of times in which she messes up simple orders. I overheard her talking with the cooks about how she messed up another order and was very blase about the guy getting pissed off about the mix up. She's an idiot and obviously someone's cousin or niece because she's SUCH a screw up. I have been going less and less because there are better pizza shops around. For the past 3 orders, at least 1 item has been burnt. The first one, they burned the garlic twists. The second time, they burned my BBQ rib slice. The very last time, which was three days ago when I last ordered, they burned my white slice, BBQ rib slice, pepperoni slice AND the Philly cheesesteak slice. I only ordered 4 slices of pizza so yes, EVERYTHING was burnt in my last order. I am never going back there again, simply based on their prices and how disappointing the restaurant has become. If you have the time, I recommend Pizza Square at the Cross County Mall. They have been around before Pizza Pizza and they have only gotten better. read more

I moved to Mount Vernon in June of 2015. From the start, my go to place; quick, easy, also easy on the wallet, close-by; the neighborhood place. Pizza Pizza is a 3 minute drive from my house, so always great for pickup and usually pretty fast for delivery; my food always arrives hot and always delicious. My ordering and delivery experience is ever pleasant, and as someone who is always ordering extra sauce or something well done etc (I'm specific), I appreciate that they actually do those little extras and the delivery drivers are always friendly. If you're looking for a list of my favorites? I'd order a Lasagna Pie - well done (regular crust, ricotta and mozzarella topped with a generous dollop of marinara with sliced meatball baked into it, extra marinara on the side; thank me later), or if you're looking for a sandwich I think their Philly Cheesesteak straight up with extra cheese sauce on the side is perfect (they will also add whatever ingredients you want to your sandwich, super flexible), Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap, Chicken Francaise was also delicious although I had a hard time convincing the guy to make me extra sauce on the side to go with it. And with whatever I order, I always get an order of french fries. It seemed as though they sprinkle the fries with a little salt and pepper for you just as they come out of the fryer, but after eating them for almost the last year I think there is something more to the seasoning on those fries. Absolutely delightful addition to any order you place with them. Cons: Only 1. There is one guy whom I only ever speak to occasionally. By now I know his voice when I order and it is always a guessing game on whether or not my food will be correct. We've got a 50% rate going on. The food is good but the delivery dude is an a**. I live in an apartment building and he didn't want to walk up the stairs to my apartment. Then when he did get there he accused me of not paying because I ordered on grub hub (used my card). He treated me like I was trying to rip him off and scam him out of money until he spoke with his manager who told him about three times that I paid online and he still was skeptical of me. The customer service was horrible over the phone they seem agitated when I asked what variety of soda they have after mentioning 2 flavors they did not have next the phone was hung up on me I called back and ordered again thought it was connection problems until the next time it happened.
