The kitchen is right in front and you can see the owner and staff making the food in real-time which is so homey, like another Yelper has said before. I'm a little late on getting these guys their props! I am on the organizing committee of a large annual event in Park Slope that is run in majority by volunteers. We always need to feed our good natured helpers of course, and this can become quite a task (dozens of volunteers two days in a row). This past year Pizza Plus totally came through. We were able to order a variety of pies, which met all kinds of dietary needs (including vegan and gluten free pies!). We also requested that the orders arrive in two parts each day, so that volunteers all had a chance to get some hot slices... in case they were busy during one of the delivery times they would have another chance. Pizza Plus did not screw up any part of the order for any of the four deliveries. The pies arrived hot and on time. This was one less thing to worry about. I would highly recommend them if you need to feed a lot of people for a private party or a public event. Great communication, and came through on their end totally. read more

Two points distinguish this pizza joint from any other pizza joint in the area: tasty crust and fast delivery. I've stuck to simple pies with one or two toppings. They have always delivered in less than an hour a smoking hot pizza. The sauce is on the sweeter side and the cheese is plentiful with just enough toppings. Not too much and not too skimpy. But the most satisfying thing about their pizza is surprisingly the crust. Most pizza joints in the area have crusts that are bland and dry. I don't know what they do with their crusts but I hope they never change their recipe. Their crust has a soft and nearly buttery flavor and I love it. read more

I tend to prefer onions that are diced and lightly sprinkled across the pie rather than larger slices on top. Overall, though, this is a very good local pizzeria with tasty sauce, great appetizers, and the kind of place that's easy to come back to when you're craving a good neighborhood slice.
