a slice of pizza on a paper plate
    Cathy K.

Best slice I've had in a while, good quality cheese and plenty of sauce, perfect for the "saucy" types. Crust perfectly soft and crispy. These days it seems like every pizza is essentially a white pizza without sauce, maybe as a cost saving measure? but theirs has restored my hope. Super fast, friendly fast service. Next to the G. Ate so fast I couldn't savor it with pics, totally worth eating it at its hottest.

Pepperoni and Sicilian pizzas. Same great taste when I came here as a teen!

Excellent slices and squares! When I used to live in the area back in the 90s, this was my go to spot. Decades later, the pizzas are still as good and I enjoyed it just as much. My daughter enjoyed it too, and the outdoor seating gave it a nicer experience. Good quality ingredients, great staff, and decent beverage options. I highly recommend having the square slices, you'll definitely be satisfied! Cool for groups.

On the go great tasting pizza. The green stuff is the garlic knot juice they were nice enough to add for me. What a hidden Gem any one in the area want to grab a slice or dine in . Really affordable! Extremely tasty. Great neighborhood.i can tell they stay busy because the food is so good.

Not even 2 hours deep in my Brooklyn adventure and I hit gold. A single golden slice of gooey cheesy perfection, literally the size of a large baby. But let's be real, I ate more than one slice. Recommended by my kid nephews who KNOW exactly what NY pizza should taste like. RUN HERE.

I so badly wanted to deduct a star for the ambiance... ok as a designer I just can't get over the popcorn ceilings, the tiles, the terrible lights, the green walls....where do I stop? but as I sit here at home enjoying my individual pizza with VEGAN cheese and I'm going to go for it and give a high five! Awesome pizza, crust is amazing. Lots of toppings. Who said us plantbased folk had to suffer? Service was friendly and I even had a nice chat with the owner who was happy about my order and very interested in getting feedback about how I liked it. Bravo. I like people who are open to new ideas. Let's all support them so there's some cash in the bank for a restaurant makeover? I'll be back for sure.

Best mozzarella and tomato pizza I've had in a WHILE. As a pizza snob, I usually visit my local shop in Midtown between shifts. Today, my eyes have been locked in on this establishment. Granted it's small, but the friendly service and smells of FRESH pizza make it worth the commute. Let me restate that their food is FRESH. Pizza dough is of local ingredients and also offer gluten free options. Always finding an excuse to come back and say hello! Nice work fellas. Y'all put a smile on my face.

Foods not nearly as flavorful with new owners. I kept adding parmesan and red pepper. The energy is not friendly anymore. What a bummer!

What separates pizza places are either the ingredients, or in this place, what separates them is their crust. They make everything fresh right in front of you, pictures are below. Jennie took our order and she walked us through the menu. We ended up getting a big margherita pizza. My son got the 2 tomato slices, he isn't a big cheese fan. My wife got pepperoni, they have beef pepperoni or pork pepperoni. Mikey Love was really cool he came out and greeted me. My kids got a drink, and then guess what, their gelato was actually top tier. I went for pizza and found out the Geloto was was awesome. You go to a pizza place and then get gelato. They had vanilla and watermelon, it was so good. I got some for my daughter, I tasted it, and one of my self them one of my sons wanted some as well. Bernadette was making them and having a great time. Great Vibe here If you come to Brooklyn and you want great pizza, you need to try this place. This place is absolutely awesome.

I spotted Gio and his team busy pulling fresh pies out of the oven. I ordered a Grandma slice, a white slice, and my son went for a pepperoni slice. It's a cash-only place, and my order was ready in about ten minutes. The Grandma slice was quite dense, with a cracker-like crust. It tasted okay, but I wasn't sold on it and ended up leaving it in the box. The white slice was a bit better--with a crispy crust and a strong garlic flavor I really enjoyed. I've eaten here, come to the Bushwick Block Party to see Action Bronson perform, and spent enough time around Tiki Disco to associate the place with a particularly inventive, free-spirited period in the neighborhood. The dining area still has that wonderfully idiosyncratic character: exposed beams, communal tables, mismatched details, and an open kitchen turning out genuinely excellent pizza. What impresses me most is how naturally Roberta's became more than a restaurant. Food, music, parties, outdoor spaces, and an extraordinary mix of people all seemed to converge here, giving the place a cultural gravity that could never have been designed by committee. It remains one of those places that instantly takes me back to my bachelor years and an especially fun chapter of my time in the city, when Bushwick felt endlessly creative, and Roberta's seemed to sit comfortably at its center. This is the first restaurant we've been to with 20% auto gratuity for a party under 6. But the borderline dishonest part is that the check that you sign tells you in tiny letters that tip was already added, but has huge font for additional tip and written out tip calculations, so it is very easy to tip 40% without noticing. Sometimes I do tip extra generously, but I don't want to feel like I was tricked into doing it! Looking thru reviews here, I see other people also experienced this, including people in small parties who were locked into the 20% when it should have definitely been 18%. :/ So close to a good experience, but ruined by tricksy billing.
