The most gracious and humble hosts - paying attention to every detail and stopping at nothing to bring whatever the customer wants to fruition. We don't realize that the place closes at 8:00 pm, and just kept chomping and socializing - they never once pointed it out to us. I begin with them because they were the friendliest folks, and their service was truly remarkable. Then comes the food - my goodness, the food. Let's begin with the Harira. Perfectly seasoned, but for me, it requires a little more salt (which is personal preference) and a pop of acid like lemon to bring out its true flavor. Overall, a really comforting, rich soup without being heavy or cloying. Then came the Moroccan seasoned potatoes - oooooweeee! These were little nuggets of pure deliciousness. Seasoned to perfection, crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside and every bite kept you wanting to go back for more. Then the lamb shank tagine - ummmm, excuse me?!?! What do you mean the meat is like butter? It literally falls off the bone and dissolves in your mouth. Rich, fatty, unctuous and truly a delight. The bed of couscous it came with was also great - made better by the sauce from the lamb shank. The highlight of this plate were the roasted prunes that are part of the sauce. Sweet, jammy prunes cooked into the sauce made them just truly a delightful mouthfeel in comparison to the couscous and the scrumptious meat. To top it all off, the cherry on top, is their comforting Moroccan mint tea. So very fresh and the perfect end to an absolutely DELIGHTFUL meal. Highly recommended!!!

It is a very small place and so you feel like you are dining at someone's house. Our food was great. I particularly enjoyed the appetizer sampler, and my couscous was cooked perfectly. My wife's lamb was cooked perfectly, and I enjoyed the mint tea. We were told that baklava is home made so we grabbed a tray and by the time we went to sleep it was half gone. It was a great place for us as well as I don't eat meat, but my wife does, and so the vegetarian choices are flavorful and varied while meat eaters can enjoy special dishes as well. Kind of hard to spot from the road, at least for us, and we drove by the mall a million times without stopping but it is worth it.

The outdoor patio was cute and shielded from traffic with high wall dividers. Food wasn't the highlight, but I would come back to try other dishes. White Chocolate Pistachio Martini $14 - Not too sweet, nor too strong, good flavors. Grilled Octopus $20 - Small portion, tender octopus. Chicken Wings $17 - 8 meaty wings, naked, skin was slightly crispy and caramelized. Salmon Poke Bowl $19 - Simple and straight forward salmon poke bowl. The fries were crispy and delicious. For our birthday celebration, they gave us a yummy brownie and ice cream with a little candle. Reservations can be made on Resy. .|\---/| | @_@ | ..\_^_/..2026

Another great dinner at Foxtail!…read more We had to come back to try more of the menu, and this time we ordered: * Pork belly bruschetta: 5/10. Unfortunately, this one wasn't for me. The pork belly, ciabatta, and balsamic were all good individually, but together the flavors just didn't work. It felt mismatched... * Colorado lamb kebab: 10/10. This is one of the more $$ entrées on the menu, but it's absolutely worth it. The portion was generous, the lamb was high quality, and the artichoke pesto paired really well with the rich, gamey flavor. The roasted pearl onions were a great addition too. I would definitely recommend this dish. * Foxtail paella: 8/10 flavorful orzo paella loaded with seafood. Definitely a sharing type of entree! Always a great time at Foxtail with great food and great service!

1/1/26 update: I…read morefinally got to try out the meat and they are awesome. One side says kabobs and the other side you can order more ethnic stuff, but you can just order from one side. I ordered the mixed shawarma wrap (chicken and steak) combo, sfeeha fatayer, and mamounia bel eshta (Syrian dessert). Service is always friendly, they'll explain the items if you don't know. My last review for this place was 24 days ago and there was barely anyone here. I'm glad to see that there are people coming in here, since there are not many Syrian restaurants around. -mixed shawarma combo 5 - this is one of the best shawarmas I've ever had. The chicken and steak are equally tender and juicy. I really like the special seasoning. You can also add additional sauces. Don't sleep on those French fries. They make them crispy, none of that soggy nonsense. -sfeeha fatayer 5 - this kind of looks like a quesadilla, the sfeeha is minced beef with seasoning. This is a very tasty meat and I highly recommend this. -mamounia bel eshta 5 - a Syrian dessert. The mamounia is a warm semolina pudding with pistachios and cinnamon. The eshta is a thick, clotted cream with pistachios that you eat along with the mamounia. I ate it separately. There is salty cheese and bread that you eat with them. There's no wrong way to eat it. You can use the bread to put some of the eshta or salted cheese in it. Alternate between sweet and salty.

Both sandwiches had a good amount of meat and flavorful fillings. Both were tasty and satisfying. The only thing I would ding them on is that tortilla bread was used instead of shruk bread or thin pita. While I didn't eat there, there was a reasonable amount of seating inside and service was friendly. There was another section of the restaurant whose menu showed pizza and manakeesh, but it was unmanned at the time. Wouldn't mind trying that some time.
