Outside. What else is there to say?

I'm very surprised the aggregate score isn't higher. We had perfect food and a perfect visit! The fried chicken is the star and it is very good! They keep it coming so it is fresh and hot. Mashed potatoes and gravy were decent. And, this location has a bigger salad bar selection than the ones we've visited in other locations. You will not leave hungry and I'm pretty sure your taste buds will be happy as well!

I stopped at this Pizza Ranch location because it was right across the street from my hotel. I went for dinner around 5:30 pm and it was very busy with a lot of families. I didn't have to wait, and I went right to the buffet. The buffet was clean and kept full the entire time I was there. The main thing I get is the chicken. If you have never had Pizza Ranch chicken, you are really missing out. It is FANTASTIC... This location as no different, the chicken was fresh and hot. The breading on the chicken is really good. I also got some mashed potatoes and gravy along with some corn. The potatoes were good, and the gravy really hit the spot. Overall, I love Pizza Ranch chicken and will always stop when I'm close to one. This location is very clean and well-staffed. I good dining experience.

    Where's the pepperoni?!

I ordered the pepperoni pizza that had 2 kinds of pepperoni and I added pineapple to it. The pizza that came had approximately 1 to 1 1/2 pieces of pepperoni per slice. I have never ordered a pepperoni pizza that had so little pepperoni on it. There was a pepperoni on it. There was a pepperoni classic that only had one type of pepperoni on it on the menu but that is not the 1 I ordered. Extremely disappointed

    New game room.

Service was great and the waiter was pretty good at making the rounds, making sure I was attended to. I was going to order the large but he insisted to get the medium knowing the pie was going to be too big. (I should have ordered the large! ). When the pie came out, everything about this pizza was a step above any slice I've ever had. I'm a uge fan , that's right "UGE" fan of Dave Portnoy 1 slice pizza review and have been dying to try the NH style type of pizza. I ordered a medium (which was uge btw) pep pizza and it came out within 10 mins. Each slice had zero flop and a beautiful undercarriage! The dough had that true charcoal oven fired tasted and the pepperoni cups were crisp and spicy! The thing that really elevated this pizza for me was that after taken it back to the hotel and microwaving it, (it lost some of it structure) but the crust was still pretty crispy! How am I'm suppose to go back to Texas now knowing this kind of slice exists!?! The place also has some pretty cool shirts which are kind of pricey but tbh will always remind me of that one time I'd almost cried eating pizza.

The Only restaurant in town to play music that doesn't hurt my ears. I order Chicago style because it's the best in town. They have been open the longest out of all the Pizzerias in Marion and Cedar Rapids, they know what they're doing. My wife loves the New York and occasionally she'll get a massive calzone, The grandkids of course love the Zookie. Wonderful Spot, Wonderful People.

There's no comparison except maybe Zachary's which is a Chicago-style pizza as well. I normally come in off hours as the restaurant can be loud. I sat with my AirPods on for most of my meal to help drown out the noise. I love the ceiling decor but I don't think it's noise-reducing. There's enough seating for about 30 people. The people I shared a seat back with must've been involved in a royal rumble as about every 2-3 minutes I'd get a huge bump in my back from the people on the other side. When I put my hand down to slide into the booth, it was covered in crumbs. I put my hand on the table top and it had crumbs as well. I ended up asking my waiter to grab a washcloth to wipe my table as there was some food stains on it too. Someone must've cleared the table without wiping the table or seats down. My waiter was on top of things and was friendly. The pizza however, was on point as it always is. The crust was thick, buttery crunch on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. The sauce was fresh/good. The mozzarella was oozing out the sides of my slice. It was hot but not unbearably so. I love Zoey's pizza. It's on my shortlist of places I always go to when I'm in town. As long as they're in business, I will be a patron.

My margarita had a good flavor but I tasted no tequila or triple sec in it, I ordered a second one, same thing. We ordered food as well, my friend ordered a quesadilla which looked good and was good according to him. I ordered a lasagna and was not impressed - the temperature was slightly less than the surface of the sun, the marinara sauce had too much sugar in it (like Filipino spaghetti sauce), the portion size was small (I ate again later that night), and for it being lasagna, it had one lasagna noodle in it. I've had a similar dish in Napa, CA with similar results. I wasn't impressed, not in Napa, not here. Not sure where they got their lasagna recipe from but it needs to go back and stay there. The "cheese bread" on the side was disappointing as well. It was essentially dry French bread with pepperjack cheese melted on it. If you're going to do that, at least put some butter on it and grill it, otherwise it's a bland, tasteless side mess, which it was. I usually have a mixed drink and their pizza and have yet to be disappointed, so next time, that's what I'll do. Avoid the lasagna or whatever it is they call lasagna. As far as the bar itself is concerned? I love the retro look and feel of the place, always have, always will. This time though, there were A LOT of kids there - must've had some sort of special going on. It wasn't loud or obnoxious or kids running everywhere while we there, I've just never seen that many kids there before. No biggie.
