Picked up a box of chicken, which was pretty good and addicting, but I think it was the sodium the mashed potatoes did not taste like real potatoes, but instant. The second buffet line offers fried chicken (really good), dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, mac&cheese, salads with a variety of toppings. There is a self serve soda fountain and ice cream machine. Dinner time can be busy, and at times keeping the food lines stocked a challenge, but the wait is usually not that bad. Considering the turnover and number of people going through the lines, the staff does a good job of keeping the place clean. Came in with a large group, staff was super accommodating! Opened up two party rooms for us, checked on us often and cleared plates in a timely manner. This was my first time at a Pizza Ranch in over a year and I was happy with my experience. The environment was a little wild because there were lots of children running around and unsupervised teens, but that's no fault of the restaurant. They did a great job replenishing the food, but I will say they could've put a wider variety of pizzas out on the buffet. I was there for about an hour and a half and it was mostly the same pizzas during that time, but I was able to request the pizza that I wanted and they gave me a buzzer so that I could have first dibs on it when they brought it out which was great. Went her for my 2nd oldest daughters Baby shower and the room was kind of small but that chicken that chicken is the Bomb!! It was also very clean throughout the restaurant which was a A+ in my book the pizza buffet was a hit with my grandkids and some grown-up the salad bar was ok the only thing with that was they had no Italian or ranch dressing just French & Balsamic vinegar i went Balsamic vinegar but all in all the place is a definite 100% go too. read more

There are other food options besides pizza--the mashed potatoes and chicken were tasty! If you want a specific pizza you have the option to request it. They have the right mix of dessert, including ice cream, chocolate chip cookie dish and sweet pizza. Logan was friendly and tried to keep his cool during a small power outage. First and last time trying this location tonight. It wasn't horrible, just didn't go well for us. First off, the building is big and the parking lot is huge. From the outside, I was really impressed. I've been to a few Pizza Ranch locations in WI, and this was the nicest looking one of them all, so far. I knew from the lot that it was going to be busy. Lots of cars at about 6pm. Against my better judgement, we still went inside. There was a short line for the register, it was there I had my second thought that this was a bad idea. $27 for one adult and two kids. Cost wasn't too bad. We found a table right away, but had to flag down someone to clean it off. The majority of the lobby was occupied. It's a Friday night, what did I expect? Overall, for the amount of people inside, it wasn't as trashed as I thought it might be. We made our first approach to the buffet. My kids were able to each find a piece of pizza and some mashed potatoes with gravy. I got two slices of pizza. There wasn't much else to grab. We ate what we were able to grab and waited a bit afterwards before heading back to the buffet. Second trip to the buffet. No pizza available! This is pizza ranch, right?! Kids grabbed more mashed potatoes and gravy and some salad. I decided to wait. 15 minutes later and a few pizzas were put out and snatched up quickly by others. I decided to wait up by the buffet. After while, I was able to get two breadsticks. Still no pizza available. Probably another 15 minutes passed by, finally one of my kids was able to get another slice of pizza, but definitely not a slice she wanted (mushrooms). Finally, about 45 minutes into our visit, there was some pizza to choose from. I grabbed a few slices and sat back down. Within a few more minutes, again nothing to grab. At this point, my kids had been waiting for cheese pizza for about 50 minutes and everything that was put out was being grabbed up quicker than you could get to the buffet. My kids decided to resign to ice cream only to find there were no more ice cream cups available. Thank goodness they arent sheep...they improvised, grabbed a soup bowl, and got some ice cream. As we were just about to give up, I was able to grab a few slices of taco pizza. Which was really good! How can a pizza buffet run completely out of pizza? Continuously? On a Friday night? There were plenty of employees visible in the restaurant, so lack of help wasn't the problem. In the end, I didn't get much pizza and my kids barely got any at all. They were content eating ice cream for dinner, but that was certainly not the plan. The small amount we ate was not worth $27. It was good, but minimal, at best. We should've stayed home! read more

So let's concentrate on the food. They bring out some weird pizza but attempt to label it. But I took what I thought was a slice of sausage pizza and it turned out to be barbeque. When I found a combination that I like, it was so-so. If you want good pizzaria pizza, you'd do better around the corner at Matio's. I started wanting a cup of soup. Both containers were empty. The salad bar was small. My wife said the chicken was good as was the dressing. I did have some steamed vegetables and biscuit and gravy. Small selection. Nothing like Golden Corral up the road. This site newly opened so I really dont like to give a low rating right away as there is adjustments when starting. But we expressed our concerns about there being no pizza to the manager while we were there and he acted surprised. Literally shocked like he hadnt been there all night. When we arrived....there was NO pizza. Ok Got settled. Got drinks and a salad. Still NO pizza. Waited. Still NO pizza. People were standing there waiting for pizzas and joking you have to be a bully to get a piece or you won't get any. We were there from 645pm until 800pm and not one of our party of 10 got a slice of either pepperoni or sausage. They kept cooking specialty pizzas; which were not that great. Never got any bread sticks. Each time I went up there were none. Managed to get one slice of dessert pizza which was great. Salad bar was average. The staff we saw were great and working hard to clean up plates but there obviously was a huge problem in the kitchen. The owner/manager needs to really look at what is going wrong as they will not get the repeat customers if people have to wait for pizza. read more

Worst Father's Day meal of my life. It was great if I wanted to get filled up on the two reject pizzas that others ordered who knows how long before we got there (wait, that's what we did). Staff was rude and said there was a wait AFTER checking us out. Every time something new came out, it went directly to a group, yet it was a 45 minute wait to put in our own order. I didn't see a piece of chicken there, the deserts were all taken, and the ice cream machine was out. The buffet was riddled with pizza toppings from other customers and staff not cleaning.
