Rosati's New Berlin is a good choice for a breezy fall Friday evening. It's a relatively small store so I web ordered and it was done at the time I asked for when ordering. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and polite. I order fries, a pizza that was a special this week and two cans of soda. The fries were crisp, had the right amount of salt and were priced right for the amount you received in an order. The canned soda was approximately cold and the had a good variety of Pepsi products in both single cans as well as 2 liters. The pizza was cooked through without being burned. It was not overly greasy or oily and the vegetables were fresh. It was busy for a Friday but the staff were polite, the restaurant was clean, the food was done on time, and it tasted great. Takeout Order was accurate and ready on time. Food was hot and fresh. We ordered two 18 inch pizzas, cheese sticks and Caesar salad. We fed 8 adults and had left overs. Everyone was complimenting how good the food was. Great pizza sauce, crust is thin but not too thin, sausage and pepperoni also very tasty. Lots of toppings. It was the first time we had anything from the restaurant and we were so surprised! The food was all piping hot fresh. The delivery was fairly quick despite it being dinner on a Saturday and the man who delivered to us was very nice and friendly! We enjoyed the food so much! Butter Crust I've driven past tons of times but figured that they wouldn't compare to pizza places in the Windy City. Thank you, Groupon. I was wrong, Rosati's will work when I'm not in the mood for a roadtrip to Gurnee to pickup deep dish. Both times I've been in I called ahead with a specific time for pickup and my order was hot and ready to go. Overall, the pizza is really good. The crust is buttery and has a great taste. Last night we had Rosati's Pizza for our year end with our family. For the first time we got the "take and bake" pizza. We got two 14" and one gluten free. Bake all three and they came out perfect. We got all the pizza's with sausage and cheese and everyone said they were the best. The "Take and bake" worked perfectly, we were able to enjoy the family and bake the pizza and had a hot high quality pizza hot and fresh. I'm very disappointed. First the pizza came UNCUT. A large 18 incher...UNCUT??? Bull. Then we tried calling at 8:35pm TO ASK WHY OUR PIZZA WAS UNCUT and NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. Called to order delivery after a very long day and was told there would be a two hour wait for delivery - I assumed it was because of the Packer game so I said I would pick up. My order then would be ready in 45 min, which I thought was interesting, but still decided to pick it up given my complete exhaustion. My 15 year old son, ran into to grab the order, and came back to say, there is no way there is a two hour wait!!! There are no other orders in there, there are three guys working, I think they just don't want to work. . . coming from a 15 year old. Nice! After reading the reviews, I'm thinking this is probably accurate. Whatever the case, if you are going to offer delivery - don't scare people away with fake delivery times! I've had the 10" Chicago Deep Dish pizza and a slice of cheese from here. The slice of cheese was just ok, nothing special, but not so bad that it wasn't edible. Today - blew another $50 - and it felt like just that - a blown $50. Soggy crust, lukewarm, a bad blend of ingredients. So first try - a 5, second try - a 0...average score is a 3. I'm surprised by other people's experience with this location because I have never had anything but excellent service from them. I order delivery (online) once per week and the food is always good and comes within an hour. My daughter loves their Italian Sausage sandwich, and my husband loves their pastas (Italian Beef and the Deep Dish as well he's a greedy one) and I love their thin crust pizza. This all started with a Groupon. The pizza was delicious, so I went back. The sauce is nice and fresh, and the cheese is plentiful. They have great daily specials that are a bargain. Depending on the day of the week, there is something for everyone. I messed up and called on the wrong day for the special I like (one topping, large thin crust for $10.99) and due to my loyalty, I received the special Wednesday price on a Tuesday. Overall I thought the pizza was good, and had a good amount of cheese on it (sometimes places skimp on cheese). Was it the greatest pizza I've had? No. But it was tasty, with a crispy crust. My husband and I received a gift card for EatStreet last year when our son was born. Basically we order from a select number of restaurants online and either done-in or pick-up. Due to the close proximity of our home (even though they won't deliver to our home), we always order online and pick-up from the New Berlin Rosati's. Rosati's is a chain, and I've eaten at a few of them before. For example, the one in Oconomowoc is a full-fledged restaurant, whereas this is pretty much a "take-and-go" kind of place. The main thing that varies from each restaurant is the service. The service I've had here varies each time. Some days I have to wait, other days our pizza is ready as promised. I've never had anything other than the pizza from here, so I cannot comment as to how the other food is. Last night we ordered our pizza, and when I picked it up, it was already kind of cold. Not a big deal , but it's always nice to have a hot pizza when you open the box. All in all this place works for us. When we're super busy with our kid and it looks like dinner isn't gonna happen, we'll order a pizza. It works in a pinch. read more

I've ordered from them multiple times. I probably wouldn't have if they weren't on grubhub which is ever so convenient. It's hit or miss. Timeliness: usually they're close to on time, which is an hour by grubhub. Last night they were late...no apology. I haven't had their pizza but their Italian beef sandwiches on garlic bread are decent (I like the spicy giardiniera they have). The boy likes the wings (I didn't try them but they looked tasty and fresh) and their chicken strips are oddly exceptionally tasty, as is the honey mustard (it tastes homemade). The antipasta type salad is decent (not the best I've had but edible if you're craving a salad) and the garlic dressing is good with it. The cheesecake also surprisingly tasty. Avoid: the fish (my bad. I was just craving fish I should have known better) Overall they aren't bad...they do forget sauces and stuff like that. I won't stop ordering from them but I also won't be surprised if one day they just forget an entree and then I will stop ordering from them. It just kind of feels half-assed if you know what I mean. They need a small crackdown on the part of management to bump it up a notch because it seems like they have potential. Or it could be that the pizza is absolutely fantastic and they should just focus on that, and good customer service, and forget the rest. I was craving a beef sandwich so I went here. First off its hard to see from the street because it's in a strip mall with dark windows and not lit up. I had the beef on garlic bread with hot peppers and cheese. This is a tasty combo and how can you go wrong. It's big and tasty and how can anyone screw this up. Tried this rosatis location tonight. I got one of the calzones. The food itself was pretty good and definitely large enough that it will fill you up. The food and the crew working in the restaurant get 4 stars. The rest of my review involves the "online ordering" I came on yelp to see what looked good for dinner and ended up linking to rosatis website via the link on yelp to look at the menu. I noticed the online ordering and placed my order assuming it went direct to the restaurant. It turns out their online ordering is thru a third party service called menufy.com. It was pretty straightforward but didn't explain things very well. It allows you to put a tip in for the driver in advance if you so choose. But nowhere did it say this would be your ONLY opportunity to give a tip unless of course you had some cash on you. Since i do not believe in tipping a delivery driver until the meal arrives in case he/she gets lost for an hour or any other reason that the service could end up being bad, i chose not to do that expecting that id need to sign the credit card slip and have a chance to add a tip at that time. The driver arrived earlier than the quoted time, and everything went perfect. Handed me my order, turned around and started walking away. No receipt of any kind besides the email sent by menufy.com , no ability to add a tip and i did not have cash on me. I immediately called the restaurant directly and explained the situation and was told i had to call up menufy.com and they could edit my order and add a tip that way. I did that and it was fairly easy i am just really hoping that the driver actually gets that tip from menufy.com ***Protip*** the employee working at the restuarant told me to Skip the online ordering and call the restaurant direct. I was told that the delivery time averages roughly 10-15 mins faster. I can only assume that the reason for that is a 10-15 minute delay in menufy.com sending the order to the restaurant. This would also fix the issue with not being able to tip the driver unless you do so in advance. read more
