Historically we have been frequent Rita customers. I was excited to learn they sold their dough al a cart! Called ahead and asked about pricing etc, was told to "come on down and ask for Brad" went in, asked for Brad and was told "we're done making crusts for the day". Explained that I had called ahead because my six year old was excited to make pizzas at home. Was still turned away, despite what I had previously been told and heard the entire crew laughing as I left. Very disappointed with this experience, won't be loyal customers anytime soon. *UPDATE* Was phoned mere hours after our experience by the owner himself. So very good. We went with the Chicken, Bacon Ranch pizza, and the Meat Madness (pepperoni, ham, beef, sausage and bacon). Both were very tasty. The cheese is plentiful, and the toppings were all top-notch. The red sauce on the Meat Madness is nicely spiced. But it's the crust that makes it perfect. Light, tasty, crispy on the edges... so good! Plus, they take other places coupons. Can't beat that! read more

Fast delivery (usually about 30 minutes) and the pizza is always hot, cheesy and delicious with a thick crust unique to Pizza Rita. Their red sauce on their pizzas are spicy and thick, and they have a ranch sauce which is creamy and tastes like ranch. Their prices are a little more expensive than your typical pizza chain, but they also have many deals which can help you save some money rather than buying each item separately. A typical order including a large favorite pizza with breadsticks and a soft drink will run you about $30. But if you are only feeding two people with that (like me) it will feed you for at least 3 days and the pizza tastes great reheated. They have lots of topping options that should satisfy anyone as well as spicy wings and dessert options. I'm not a huge fan of the dessert "calzones" (apple eights and berry eights) as they to me just taste like jelly wrapped up in a very thick cinnamon bread and over-baked, hard and overly chewy. But my fiance loves them. I am a fan however of their cheesy eights, 8 sections of gooey cheesy bread slices topped with Parmesan cheese. The bread is fluffy and easy to eat and not hard and over-baked. They come with marinara dipping sauce which is also great to dip your pizza into as well. My favorite pizza from Pizza Rita is their chicken bacon ranch favorite pizza. It is packed with chicken and they don't skimp on the bacon either. For a little kick I like to order it with some jalapenos. It also is not too salty. Their vegetarian pizza is also a favorite of mine and is wonderful when made with the ranch sauce instead of their red sauce. Love these guys. Not a huge fan of deep dish pizzas but I have to say these guys keep bringing it and do it well. Pizzas are fresh, sauce is good and the crust is nice and crunchy. Unfortunately for us we live one block from their delivery border (ugly cry face), so we drop in and buy a pie when we're in the area. My first time eating here. I'm really picky with food in general, especially pizza, but so far it's the best pizza I've had since moving to Spokane. Price is worth it. It was delivered faster than I had expected and it was nice and hot. I got the Ritas real pizza with no sausage. It was great. Crust was soft, but firm. Also got cheesy eights, they were good, but I didn't realize the amount of cheese that was in them, and couldn't eat much of them. They could be a meal all on their own. Pizza Rita is a local pizza chain to just Spokane. Always better to get local pizza than the national pizza chains. The pizza here is cooked unique in deep dish pans that give the crust a very think spongy bottom and extra crispy and crunchy crust edge. The crust is a bit greasy/buttery and with cheese (the cheese seems chewy to me), and ingredients can get very greasy overall. Usually I just order a cheese pizza. Customer service is usually not that great. I only live 1 minute away and always order Pickup, orders have been very slow and sometimes wrong. read more

We don't have pizza very often but on a Friday evening we ordered two large pizzas from this establishment. The order taker was polite and very pleasant. She said the order would be ready for pick up in about fifteen minutes. When we arrived fifteen minutes later our order was ready. I think the cost was very reasonable and the quality outstanding. For delivery pizza, Pizza Rita is the best. Not only are the toppings generous, the sauce is delicious. The dough is fluffy, and crunchy in all the right places. This particular location is fast when it comes to delivery and the staff have been very friendly on the phone when taking my order. BEST PIZZA EVER! I have been going to pizza Rita ever since I was a little girl in elementary school with my family to get some slices for lunch. Their food is so delicious! their service is even better. I have been bringing my two children there ever since they were born and I came back to Spokane. Now five years later and whenever I come in they would know my boys by name and my son gets a huge grin on his face and they ask him how was day of thing going. Pizza Rita has become like extended family for me and my boys my son even tells me that when he grows up he wants to make pizzas at Pizza Rita if you have not been here before I highly recommend you go now! It is delicious and the service is the best I've ever gotten! One other bonus? It's locally owned, and knowing the employees as well as I do, I know he sincerely cares about all of them, his customers even more so. The owner himself takes part in elementary school field trips to his store to let the kiddos go through the entire pizza making process, even the dough, and helps them make their own mini pizzas. How awesome is that? He takes part in nearly all the local events, he is just an all around amazing person, we need more local owners like him! I was a dedicated customer to pizza rita until I checked my bank account and was over drafted and all the transactions were from back in may and July and it was September . I ordered pizza from may to July 4 times . One of those times was for a birthday party for over 100 bucks . Let's just say I got over drafted over 200 bucks for those 4 transactions and for the fees . I called the owner and he gave a bunch of excuses . The first one was that of course it wasn't his fault and it was a third party website that handles the money. Ok if that's true who the hell does your books because that's a lot of missing transactions . They should clearly be fired. Secondly he said "he tried emailing everyone who did online orders " to let them know of the situation . That's a lie because this happened to 3 different people I know and the same thing happened to them with no knowledge as well. When I called and after all the excuses I got offered$10 dollars in rita bucks , what a joke lmao . I will never order from here not because of the pizza because it is actually really good but because of how this issue was resolved . I did order the pizza and yes I should of been charged but there's no excuses for taking it out 4 months later and so close to when school started . We have been Pizza Rita eaters for at least 10 to 15 years. Started out with their brick oven slices at the Fair, and have been 'hooked' ever since. They use the finest ingredients, and do not skimp on their sauce or toppings. They will make a pizza almost any way you want. We recommend they to everyone we know, and anyone that will listen.
