We had a group of 10 with 2 babies. The music was super loud so I asked if they could turn it down. The waiter was super good about it and asked the manager that said he couldn't turn it down. I guess he has never operated anything with a volume dial. So I asked if he could just turn it off and he was super rude and said NO. Such poor customer service by the manager I said look if you won't do anything then we will leave. He said he couldn't do anything. So we had to leave. I cannot believe with the current state of the economy he chose to turn anyway 10 customers instead of just turning the music down for like 30 minutes while we ate. Went here today and ordered half pepperoni half margherita pizza. I was very surprised when I got the check and they charged me a $1.00 for basil. Isn't that what a margherita pizza is?? I had been craving a Sicilian pizza for I don't know how long and decided to come here since they have a good selection of pizzas. We had a very pleasant server. Friendly and on point. We opted for a family style Caesar salad and the mob boss Sicilian pizza. The only complaint I'd have is that when asking to add pineapple they gave a very small slice per piece and then charged $3 for it. It definitely was $3 worth of pineapple. I don't mind paying for an extra ingredient but at least charge it's worth. Don't rip me off. I digress.... I haven't had Pizza Rock in a long time. Been a huge fan since they first opened downtown and loved when a 2nd location opened up close to home in Henderson. Anyway, today I was craving calamari and i was even more excited because Pizza Rock is famous for their 1/2 and 1/2 spicy calamari and my mouth was watering all the way home. Unfortunately to my utter disappointment it was not very good. I got all rings literally not (1) one leg in the bunch and this girl loves the legs...but I was committed to enjoying the dis because I LOVE calamari! First bite in and I'm ready to cry, not only was I now stuck with wings, but they were so soft (almost like not fully fried)....le sigh....with excitement slowly seeping out of my body, I held onto hope that I could pull this all together with the spicy aioli sauce (that I paid extra for). Now if you've never had the spicy sauce for the calamari you are missing out because it's AMAZING, but.....this sauce was different. It was very oily so much so that it was separating and did not look appetizing to dip my already soggy rings into. Noooooo....lol calamari crave ruined. From the awesome decor (love the truck with the boxes of beer), the super delicious selections, to the service provided by each member, we absolutely love visiting and enjoying our meals. Our recent visit was on 11/11/25 and Abby was there to give us world-class service. She came over immediately after we were seated and quickly took our drink and appetizer orders. She allowed enough time for us to decide on our main course and ensured our drinks were replenished, without being asked. She brought an easygoing, no pressure type of presence, as well as a great smile! She didn't make us feel rushed and we appreciate her for it! All the negative reviews make me sad and question if we've been going to the same pizza place. I guess we've just been lucking out on our servers since I don't have any recollection of terrible/subpar service from here. I can only speak for my experience though. Anyhoo, food here is always delicious. Our go to is pepperoni (sorry, basic) and usually some random appetizer. Most recently I got to try the apple salad, and that's gotta be one of the best I've had. Switched things up a bit and ordered Tony two times, which was absolutely delicious! Veggie pasta was also great. So simple yet flavorful. Hopefully the issues mentioned in the other reviews are being addressed since this is our go-to zza spot in Hendo. read more

We love Pizza Rock! Just moved to the area from the east coast--on recon missions to the area, we have stayed at the Green Valley Ranch resort a number of times. We can't get enough of the amazing pizza at this location. Huge variety of beers on tap and a decent wine list--cocktails are yummy too. Check out the Grandmom pizza, it's SO good. The pizzeria is located inside of the casino. Once we sat down, the service was friendly. The pizza took longer than expected to arrive at the table. We wondered if the pizza oven had broken! I was shocked at how good this place was. we came here to grab some food before the henderson silver knights game. we sat at the bar and ordered two small pizzas. first of all, their happy hour menus are amazing!! these pizzas were cheap for how amazing they tasted. the spicy pizza is definitely spicy - i wasn't expecting it lol but it was so good and i couldn't stop eating it. the other pizza we got is the chicken bacon ranch which was pretty good too al thought you can find this pizza anywhere. the drinks were really good too! staff was friendly and provided great customer service. definitely will come back! read more

Years ago I bought the pizza book written by the owner of the Pizza Rock and I have wanted to try this restaurant ever since. I have been to both locations in the past month and wasn't disappointed. I highly recommend the Detroit style pizza. The staff at both locations are super friendly and helpful so if you are not sure what to order, just ask. Lighting is dark/appropriate and music is perfect volume mostly rock music. Lots of TV's and they pay attention to making sure big games are on as well as random entertainment (my kids like watching "Fail Army") while I watch the Vegas Golden Knights Games. Wear your VGk schwag during the game and you get a free beer with your order! Margarita pizza: great char, super soft 00 dough, folds easily, sauce is the example of the beautiful simplicity of San marzano tomato's! Dough is thin with a nice soft chew, topped with plenty of basil. Pizza lacks the distracting addition of finishing cheeses too many other pizzerias use keeping this traditional Neapolitan! Fresh mozzarella quantity and quality is spot on. Rosemary garlic fries: a favorite of my kids. Fries are well cooked and plenty of fresh garlic and rosemary adding a layer of complexity! Ordered 2 Detroit Red Tops and a Spicy Grandma to go. Always a great Detroit Red Top to reheat and share with others. Order it double cut to make it go around more. They always nail the Frico crust (cheese piled to the side of the Detroit steel pans and combines with butter and oil and fry's during the bake) and the bold sauce ladled on top of the cheese topped with finishing cheeses and oregano! Amazing! Staff is obviously trained well and familiar with the menu, styles as well as the drink menu. Very kid friendly, lots of kid portions and pizzas available. Great beer menu but have a backup choice as they are always out of a few. Nice outdoor patio when the weather is good. Beer: Revision Vegas AF Appearance Amber gold in color, deep haze, low off white foam with ok retention. Nose: orange citrus with pineapple mango and melon, white grape and a low resin/pine hop aromas.cracker and bread dough malt aromas. Great nose. Palate: white cracker malt, medium carbonation, strong alcohol, medium-full bodied. Bitterness is medium-low, hop flavors dominate including grapefruit pith, pineapple, mango followed by resin and pine. Finishes medium with low bitter and grapefruit pith. Great quality, can always order this beer with confidence and it holds up to the bold pizza flavors well. Lots of Vegetarian options. Definitely recommend you check this place out if you're a beer, sports and especially pizza fan! Shockingly enough, as much as we come to Pizza Rock, I haven't had an "off" night as mentioned in the previous review since. This place is still one of my favorite pizza joints, even if the music is still waaaaay too loud. I feel as I'm getting older, I'm very much about getting the kids of my yard and making the neighbors turn the music down. Pizza here is tried and true. The New Yorker tastes the same today as the first time I tried it and lemme tell ya, this is the best pizza on their menu. I'd recommend this one to anyone who loves pepperoni pizza. This is pepperoni pizza on steroids, in a good way. The house Balsamic vinaigrette is still the best around. Once, the server told me how to make it and I tried at home. Did not come out, so I guess I'll have to just keep coming in and ordering a family size for myself. Service is always great, never in need for something. The beer menu is still fantastic.
