My wife and I went there for the first time Sat. Night. The BBQ Hot Honey wings were amazing and the Stacey's Mom pie was excellent. If we had any complaint it would be the Prosciutto on the pie was a little more undercooked than we would've liked. We will absolutely return. read more

My wife and I recently went to Pizza Rox for dinner using a local flavor certificate. The restaurant was clean and roomy and rather attractive.Pizza Rox is a interesting concept you buy the dough and pick toppings for the pizza. It is then cooked and brought to your table. I ordered a meat pizza and my wife ordered a white veggie pizza. My pizza was ok but my wife disliked her pizza. This restaurant is a case of a great concept not correctly executed. Recently discovered this place when I was by my friend's place, nice ambience, I like the interior inside and tall ceilings which makes it feel much bigger inside, and the concept is similar to blaze and Pieology. You get to pick your toppings as you go through the line, they don't have as many toppings as blaze or Pieology that's the only downfall... but they do have vegan cheese, and overall the pizza tastes very good, I have been twice and both times I was craving more ! read more

For pizza, this place is pretty darn good. It's clean, new, has two flat screen TVs for Sports and overall atmosphere is good for almost any occasion. I love the format of customizing pizza right in front of you, and man they customized mine exactly how I wanted it. If you love brick oven pizza's this is definitely the place for you. This place has decent tasting pizza, however, the service is absolute dog water. I believe it stems from the help they have on staff. None of the employees have any customer service skills or personality. There is always a hassle about something. The wine and beer are severely over priced and the wine is terrible. The pizza I get is never cooked enough and the toppings always slide right off. My husband loves it but I truly do not. It's sad because it should be good. Just makes me sad. We are here again tonight, mostly due to a coupon. We shall see if the quality improves but so far I'm not impressed. The staff are just dancing and complaining and talking about their lives. No semblance of a manager anywhere in sight. I keep looking for an actual adult but there seems to be no one. We have now been to Pizza Rox at least 30 times and have had a variety of pizza, etc. Surprisingly, the best pizza on the menu is their simplest, called Like a Virgin for $6. It has a perfectly balanced mix of sauce, cheese and thin crust. Also great is their salad! One of the best salads I have ever had. Get it large, include all vegetables but exclude the lettuce. the Blue cheese dressing is excellent. Also notable is the chocolate brownie. read more

The crust is great, but the toppings disappoint. Plus, the pizza maker put way, way too much cheese on my pizza. It overwhelmed the crust and the other toppings and basically ruined the whole pie. In a place like this, fresh, bufala mozzarella, applied sparingly, is the way to go and should come standard. Instead, gobs and gobs of shredded, supermarket mozzarella are piled on, unless you want to pay extra for bufala mozzarella. Don't think I'd come back. read more

I went to a Yelp event here and it was SO good, but coming back on my own time, not so much. I was hurried, what I requested couldn't be done for whatever reason and I waited such a long time for my pizza (40 minutes is unacceptable). I did get a free coke because they couldn't make me my requests and the wait for the food was an insane amount of time- had they told me that, I probably would have gone elsewhere. So I brought the food home to my boyfriend and he said it was undercooked and mushy. That could have been because he had to wait a little while to eat it, but it wasn't THAT long. I probably won't be back, where the creations are unique, the amount of time I had to wait with no notice and bland ingredients didn't do anything for me. I had the Californication pizza, which was very good. I asked them to bake the prosciutto ham in order to make it crispy, and they were happy to accommodate my request. I found the service to be very friendly. The place itself is a nice fast food restaurant, which is okay. I absolutely did not like the fact that everything is single-use plastic. I had water and they gave me a plastic cup for me to get water from a dispenser. The knife and fork was plastic. The pizza was served on a metal tray with a thin piece of parchment paper, but the tray has holes in the bottom, so it's difficult to cut your pizza. Super disappointed. Ordered 5 pizzas and two of them were for our children. Specified in comments on order that the cheese pizzas should be free for kids eat free Wednesday. We have been here more times then we can count, at one point we were coming weekly and we tell everyone about Pizza Rox being great ! We never bring the kids in especially during COVID and never had a problem. Randomly now they refused to do the kids pizzas and the manager was very rude to my husband and walked away from him midconvo. They also gave attitude because he didn't have a mask when the county and CDC has said it's not required anymore unless the business specifies .. but there are no signs stating customers need a mask or he would have worn one no problem. If you're not allowing take out kids pizza it should be stated for dine in only and maybe excuse the discrepancy the first time so going forward we would know instead of being dismissive and disrespectful toward a loyal customer. On top of that we had multiple full loyalty cards and when they switched to digital we lost all of the card points that we never used. We didn't even mind because we enjoy the Wednesday special so much but I mean cmon, they lost a loyal family customer due to their lack of customer service. I WILL NEVER GET PIZZA FROM ANYWHERE ELSE!!! This the best pizza ever! I love that I can make my own with a lot of yummy organic options to pick from. They have a special daily the whole week and when can you go wrong with a personal pizza for lunch or dinner... or a snack! Depending on how hungry you are, you can prob even share one pizza with another person. It's a pretty big personal pizza. They have good beers on tap to choose from and also if you can go all the way they have desserts! I really like the idea of make your own pizza but what's lacking at this location is that it gets overly complicated. At Blaza Pizza in Boca, you can build your own pizza and add as many toppings as you like for less than $8 and they have way more topping options than here. By the time I finished customizing my pizza, it came out to $15. For a personal pie? I think that's way too expensive for a tiny pie that was really burnt and didn't taste all that great. I could've gotten a better large specialty pie at Anthony's coal fire pizza (Ron and Paul Young one of my favorite pizzas there). I think they need to have a flat rate option for all toppings. read more

I first came here pretty soon after they opened in December of 2015. The first visit was underwhelming and at the time my husband was actually really unhappy with the service we received. He kept bugging me to leave a (negative) review but I told him I wanted to wait to give them a second chance. I finally did so I'll give some details about our problems with the first visit but how they improved with the second. So for our first visit the pizza was pretty good but the problem was the service. We were ordering 4 pizzas to go and it was our first time there. We began ordering one pizza and one of the employees who was shaping the dough said "I don't do that" in a pretty dismissive, rude tone. But whatever. We continued down the line and witnessed one employee accidentally drip pesto into the BBQ sauce. He hesitated for a moment and then just swirled the pesto into the BBQ until it disappeared. This really bugged us. Pesto has nuts and many people have allergies. Finally, my husband and I both ordered vegan cheese on our pizza and the employee did not change his gloves even though he had just touched chicken, pepperoni, etc. To be fair, we could have said something but employees should be trained to at least offer to change their gloves when a customer orders a vegan or gluten free product. And finally, I felt that they were really stingy with the toppings. Like only 4 onion slices on my pizza stingy. The second visit was much better. The service moved more quickly and the employees were much more friendly. My pizza was delicious and they were much more generous with the toppings. While I recognize that there is usually an up charge for vegan cheese I think $3 is a little steep - I know what Daiya costs and it's not that much more expensive than dairy cheese. And while it's clear on the website which toppings cost extra, it's not clear at the restaurant itself. The employees are good about telling you which toppings cost more, but it can mess up the ordering flow when you realize your $8.95 pizza may end up costing $16. All in all, it's pretty good pizza and a unique concept. I think there's still room for improvement and hope to award them an additional star or two in the future. read more
