The pizza is good but the delivery is frustrating. I specifically ask for no contact delivery and tip the driver typically 20% for delivery. For some reason they insist upon knocking on the door repetitively until I answer instead of just leaving it after they knock once. Why offer contact free delivery if it's never contact free? Are the drivers trying to solicit additional tips that way? I thought 20% of the purchase price of the pizza as a tip to drive it to me would be sufficient. Great pizza, awful delivery. read more

Best service. Great pizza. Great crew. Clean bathrooms. Crazy selection of sodas. In the 7 years I've been coming on and off to this pizza place i can tell you I can't recall once when I didn't receive excellent customer service. You'd think in that time frame I'd have at least received a burnt pizza or flat coke or maybe someone would have dropped the ball - but nope - that has never happened to me. In fact, I recall asking for a plate for my salad to go during the Farmers Market and was told yes. Uber accommodating. We ordered a pizza for delivery to our hotel room. TIP: they require a $20 minimum for deliveries. So we ordered a 2 L soda with our pizza. The pizza delivery chick came by and she forgot our soda. But it's cool because we only ordered it to break the $20 minimum. We ordered our vegetarian pizza: mushrooms, red/green peppers, onions, and olives. I felt like it wasn't as warm as I would like it, and there was not enough cheese. Also, the crust is a little chewy for my taste. Pizza Schmizza has become a quick place to grab dinner on lazy nights where we don't want to cook or drive far. It's part of a franchise but that doesn't mean that you get the same quality across all of them. This particular location blows other ones I have been to out of the water. The service is always prompt and friendly. The portions seem bigger than their Tanasbourne counterparts. The pizza is consistently good. Yes yes yes. Best pizza since living in the Napa valley and then they have fanFREAKINGtastic pasta, but I'm not really a pasta fan so...... Their ragin Cajun is so incredibly nice to the tastebuds. Getting it with gator sausage or grilled chicken breast, either way it tickles the tongue. Some have told me its spicy so I guess thats the warning I'll give you but honestly, don't be a chump, throw down some red pepper flakes. On top of the food the supply of beer is none too shy. My family and I just moved to the area and was told this place was amazing. I am so glad we listened, Saturday night we ordered a large Don Ho (Canadian bacon & pineapple) & an Xlarge tradional (Supreme) - We had it delivered and they arrived right at the time the email receipt said, not that we care but that was pretty awesome. First of all, delivery was barely an hour wait, Second the pizza is absolutely on par and delicious!! Both were Baked perfectly, NOT GREASY or burnt. The crust is perfect and not too filling, the ingredients were so fresh and plentiful, the CHEESE WAS PERFECT. We are extremely impressed and will gladly pay the extra few bucks more than any other place to have Pizza Schmizza again!!! I go to school at pacific and I am always studying late, so it helps to know our school has an amazing pizza place right next to it. You can't find a better pizza place in Oregon than this one. I like to buy and support local business first. This is a review of the Forest Grove operation. These folks do a great job, they are OK with changes to the default pizza, you can order on line and they have never been late with a pickup order. Call ahead for a change to your pie and they'll take care of you. Always hot and fresh, great sauce, great crust, great and generous toppings. It takes a lot for me to write a scathing review, but this place certainly deserves it tonight. First, the young man behind the register skipped me and helped the next person in line who he appeared to know first, then he had to ask me to repeat my order twice. I ordered two slices of (already made) pizza to eat in the restaurant. After 15 minutes, I walked up to the window to ask where my slices were and they had completely forgotten my order and had to ask me to repeat what I ordered. He then brought it out to me in a to go box. I had to ask for a plate. I mean how hard is serving 2 slices of pizza? The only reason these guys got a tip was because I put it on the check when I paid at the register when ordering. Had pizza delivered from here as part of a conference I was attending at the optometry school at Pacific. I'd recommend the Extreme Veggie and Don Ho pizzas...those were great! They have a pretty creative menu with a lot of yummy-sounding pizzas. The pizzas are real thin with a delicious doughy crust (my favorite part, I especially love it when there's a huge bubble!). Schmizza used to be a place I would frequent quite a bit. Then they seemed to get the idea that people would like them better if they charged a couple bucks more per slice. The pizza is good (if a bit greasy), and the breadsticks (with marinara or ranch) are good. But I cant bring myself to rate it higher than three stars because it wasn't that long ago when you could get almost twice as much for your money. The pizza was good. I would've given it a five star but only downside was that my order was made wrong (didn't complain since I was hungry and didn't want to wait longer for another one to be made). I had ordered their combination specialty pizza and well all I got was a mushroom and olive pizza (don't know how that happened). No bell peppers. No onions. Good thing I had ordered half and half. I got a 2 slice combo that came with a "big" drink. Both of my slices were older than I would have liked and the cheese slice I got was MUCH smaller then any slice I've ever had from schmizza which was very disappointing. The "big" drink was very small. This is the first time I ever went to this location for just slices, I've always ordered full pizzas which have been great. The girl that helped us was pretty rude the whole time she helped us and kept complaining that she couldn't hear us when we were ordering or asking questions. Maybe if the wasn't music blaring as loud as possible through the restaurant you could hear your customers. I don't mind music at all but if its so loud that you can't hear your customers just turn it down. I won't be going back to this location if I just want a slice. read more

That would have been fine, but with no one in the shop, and few orders coming in, my wait is 20 minutes. Additionally? I was charged $18.99 for the smallest pizza they had (it feeds 2.5 people), and was told that it was going to "be okay" after my gift certificates were declined because "the future is coming and problems will get fixed." I was most impressed at their tap beer selection, very local dark micro brews to an international weissen! Service was great and their crew made some great suggestions. The place was clean and stocked with the typically curious decor one expects at Schmizza. It was notable how much space there was in this particular Scmizza, great for children. Enjoyable experience! I gave a 2 star rating yet I still order pizza from here. Pizza is great, if it's cooked long enough and not dripping and soggy. Last 3 pizzas I got came this way, I was told it's the sauce and cheese, my reply was, it's not cooked long enough. They are a busy place but that's when things go downhill. FYI if you are a strict vegetarian you have to request that they wipe down their pizza cutters... I had a friend over that ordered a veggie pizza and there was pork on it from the cutters. Honestly I'm not even sure this place deserves 1 star. Customer service is fine although it took about 3-4 minutes for one of the workers to acknowledge that I was standing at the counter waiting to order. I buy my two slices, spend 6$ and tip 1$. I start eating my slice of cheese and decide I want a little side of Alfredo sauce. I have $.60 because I thought I could get a small side for $.50 rather than the large side for $1. She tells me it is a dollar so I grab my card, which I had just previously used to pay $7 to them. She says that they have to charge me a transaction fee... excuse me? Wait so you are going to charge me for purchasing more from you, ultimately $8 worth? I understand charging a transaction fee for someone who is not making their purchase worth the costs, however I had already purchased pizza. If it costs so much to run my debit card perhaps I should have held on to that $1 tip to purchase that little tiny side of Alfredo sauce. I turned down the sauce and the transaction fee. I likely will no longer frequent this business as I do not think it is fair to its customers. I have been a customer there for about 20 years. Ill just go ahead and save my $$ for the Hillsboro Airport Schmizza where they surely don't charge a transaction fee to a customer who has just purchased 2 slices of pizza and would like to simply add some dipping sauce. read more

This past Tuesday I ordered online from our local Pizza Schmizza. I was on the facebook sight, then clicked on the schmizza.com link and went to the website to order. There was a promotion for buy 2 or more medium pizza's for $7.99 a piece. I ordered two medium, and 3 side salads, which with the total after the coupon, should have been $26.50. When I went it to pay and pick it up 45 minutes later, the guy at the register told me that they do not accept online coupons. Except they did because I obviously purchased the order with the online coupon. Please see attached for the confirmation emails. Rather than calling me beforehand to let me know, when I arrive he asks how I want to pay the remaining balance of $17.99. I tried to explain to him how the original total came about, and he refused to listen to me. I told him forget it, I didn't want the order and was going to email the owner and while speaking, he interrupted me with "are you going to let me talk or are you going to keep going...I was going to give it to you for free...". Which, no he was not. He specifically asked how I wanted to pay the remaining amount when I first arrived. I checked my bank account today, and they still charged me the $21.99, the original price from the coupon online even though I did not take the order. You would think that he would have known to cancel the order on my card, or to credit it back, but he didn't bother because he was accusing me of being in the wrong. I'm not the only one who has an issue with this guy. Local business that share the same complex as our Schmizza dislike him as he is rude even while just passing. We love Schmizza, but unfortunately will never go to ours again in the Grove. I downloaded this app just to write this review for you woman in the maroon schmizza shirt, grey cardigan at the computer in the corner I just moved to forest grove a week ago when I found out there was a Schmizza I was so excited despite the fact that Pizza Hut and dominos who is more affordable is within walking distance from me I choose to go the few blocks further just for Schmizza but first let's talk about the phone call order, I call to place a order for delivery the woman on the phone was frustrated already and I tried my best to apologize that my phone cut out and thank you for correcting about the all meats proper name, I had no idea no one understood what half pep half all meat was ...anyway you tell me the wait is 45 mins and I understand so I said I'd pick it up since it was only a few blocks away and then you told by 35 mins , I come in 45 mins later to pick up and first thing is no one knows where my order is everyone insisted I called the wrong place but when I gave the address over the phone for delivery you all of sudden knew where my order was and your excuse "a older man insisted it was his order" well that's cool so you tell me it's going to take 20 mins I say I've waited long enough I'll take the full pep that's on the slice racks and we'll call it good your response "unfortunately I can't sell it to you for the same price it will be more" ......excuse me? " yeah cause I have to cook another one" ... Are you kidding me. Normally I love Pizza Schmizza but this location let me down. The vegies on our salad were still frozen, and the girl behind the counter talked non-stop to her co-worker about the latest gossip. I couldn't wait to get out of there so I wouldn't have to listen to her anymore. Well I went back there a couple of months ago after a long hiatus. My sons friend had a going away party and I have to say that there pizza was OK. I had some Genoa and didn't mind it. The staff was pretty nice and thanks to some coupons the price was reasonable. I will continue to give them some more opportunities for business as they really do try. Seriously though try to get a better variety of pizzas ready to reheat though. I am tired of seeing the basics there. I phoned in an order October 1 and they told me 15 - 20 minutes. I arrived in 15 minutes and waited to pay for my order. Some customers came in after me and i was totally ignored as one of the workers rushed over to compliment a ladies hat. I waited a few more minutes before I was finally greeted. I was told my order was not ready and would be another 5 minutes. I paid for my order and told her I would like some Parmesan cheese with my pizza. Another 10 minutes went by before my pizza came out of the oven. I got my pizza but the lady who took my order forgot I had asked for extra cheese. The pizza was okay nothing special. Don't let these geniuses deliver, your order will never show up right. Every time we have had our pizza and salad delivered they always have forgot something. One time the whole thing took 2 hours; they forgot our salad, the guy said he would be back quickly with it (as we only live about 2 miles down the road), he returned an hour later with the salad. Then the time after that they forgot the salad again, that time the guy did return with it within 15 minutes. They have never been apologetic about anything, never have offered anything for the inconvenience, not even a coupon! Their quality is constant and the customer service continues to amaze me. I have never left there disappointed with anything. They go out of their way to make sure each of their customers are happy . The decor is eclectic but not so in your face that it is uncomfortable. They are a local company and it shows.
