Order wings and ask for them not to my soaked with sauce and they come out completely dry. Wanted to sit in a booth. Walked by one. the girl said it was "reserved". It was still reserved and empty when we left to get the kids some burgers at McDonalds.. I think its the constant turnover of really young kids that work there. Never ever would I recommend anyone go to the Pizza Shack in Acworth off of Seven Hills. Although the food was good, the owner has a major power trip issue. My wife and I got to the restaurant to eat, and she got there two minutes before me. I knew a server there, but my wife didn't know her name. My wife was seated and when I got there, I saw the server I knew. We asked if we needed to switch to her section and she said that she and the other server had agreed that they were just gonna swap tables so she could take care of us. During our meal the first server came to us and said "I don't know what happened but I will be taking care of you guys." The server I knew got yelled at by the owner for making the decision to swap with the other server. The power-hungry owner didn't see that it was fit for the two girls to swap tables because they had their own designated areas. I complained because we had come there to visit the restaurant (our first time) due to the fact that I knew one of the servers. The owner, not caring whatsoever, told me that it was not for the girls to decide what tables they would serve and if she wanted to have us sitting in her section, we should've moved tables ( mind you it was a table outside the "boundary line) We offered to move to a different table earlier, but the girls had already worked it out that the server I knew could wait on us. after I complained and told the owner that this was absolutely ridiculous, she called the server I knew and yelled at her again and told her she was not getting any more customers for the rest of the night (it was only 7:00. And she was scheduled till 11 o'clock tonight. The server I knew put in her two week notice. I told her she should walk out when we leave. Love it! My husband and I tried the Pizza Shack for the first time several weeks ago when we visited my in-laws. It was delicious.We had wings (all flats) and pizza. I had the lemon pepper and my husband had the bbq. They were fantastic. The pizza was sooooo good. We went back on Saturday the 29th. We ate the wings there and ordered a pizza to go. The service was great and the food was as delicious as we remembered. We highly recommend it. We live in west Cobb but we are always more than willing to make the drive for good food and Pizza Shack is good food!!! read more

Usually a great go to for pizza and service. Unfortunately we've had two poor experiences in the past two weeks. A week ago my family ordered boneless wings which they said tasted like cardboard and couldn't eat them. Today just got back from lunch and the there was only one waitress who, although was nice was extremely slow on everything. Once we finished eating, it took 15 mins to get our check, which was incorrect. She had to re-ring the check to the correct amount ( the lunch specials) and this took another 10 mins. On a lunch break it should not tKe 1 1/2 hours from start to finish. Hope this is just a holiday fluke. read more

The food is pretty good, but this place is ridiculously overpriced! We came on a Saturday night at 7pm and the place was surprisingly dead. Definitely not what you'd expect for a "sports bar" on a Saturday night when major college football games are on. My guess is they are pricing themselves out of business. My son ordered a kids meal and it was right at $10 with a drink! My husband and I had wings and beer. The wings were tasty, but the beer could've been colder. I also don't understand why they charge for extra dipping sauce!? I'm assuming if you get a 5pc it would come with one sauce but we ordered a 10 pc to share and were charged extra to add a second sauce. We arrived before the dinner rush with a party of 12. The restaurant was fairly empty with plenty of tables. The only option we were given was to sit at two different high top tables or outside in the 90 degree weather in the sun. High top tables are not an option with small children. Food is nothing special. My wrap came out 5 minutes before my sons two slices of pepperoni pizza. It took 15 minutes to even get that. I thought this is supposed to be a pizza place?? Something is not adding up here. I asked for my wrap with no tomatoes and of course, I got tomatoes. I reminded the waitress and was simply told "well I put it on the ticket with no tomatoes". Though I would not have sent I back due to the already huge wait, I at least thought there would have been a better response. That want the only service issue. That was the last time I saw here till we got the check. My water was empty for over 15 minutes. One other worker (maybe a manager) stopped by and asked if we needed anything. I told here ranch dressing and a water. Nothing came from that request. The wait staff in general seemed slow and without any sense of urgency. No seasoning/flavor at all. The server was nice but getting food out of the kitchen is their big challenge. Sat down at 6:30. Order taken 6:45. Food arrived 7:40. Finally got our check at 8:30. I came in the pizza shack for a quick bite after my granddaughters eye appointment next door at Huffman eye. I had never been in and didn't know what to expect really but always hope for the best when I go to new places. We ordered sprite with cherry flavor (grenadine) added for Myself as well as my daughter in law and 6 year old grand. She brought them but let us know we had to be charged for a Shirley temple (in essence that's technically what a cherry sprite is) I was figuring ok well no biggie I get them everywhere for no up charge and surely it couldn't be that much?!? I ordered my 1 year old grandson the spaghetti so he could be fed before we ordered entrees and ordered tots and knots for us to start. When they arrived to the table the tots were almost just naked for the lack of toppings (supposed to be bacon, cheese, chives). We asked for some sour cream and told they do not carry it so my daughter in law went over to Publix to get some to at least add something to them. We were told it could not be brought in because they didn't allow outside food?!? What?!? I explained it's sour cream and you don't offer it on the menu and we are clearly eating from the menu so what's the problem? Server said that's just the rules and it's on the door. Well I see that a lot but first of all this isn't 4 of us eating McDonald's and one ordering a beer here, we clearly were spending money here and merely wanted to add a condiment you don't carry. So I asked for the manager Because I figured maybe she or he would see it's sour cream and explain the big deal? Nope , she was simply short and said that is the owners rules. I did tell her she may want to remove the sign from the door covering the no food or drinks brought in as well. She nodded yeah. I asked for the owners names as well. I had them remove shredded side cheese and sour cream from my bill and then they comped me $5.00? Yeah who knows for what but they should have, I get the bill and I paid 3.25 for our Shirley temples and yeah one was a small child cup and oh don't let me forget that we were also told it'd be full charge for every refill as well... at this point I'm like yeah this was absolutely a big mistake from start to finish I was utterly disappointed in not only the food but the lack of customer service and high prices for less than mediocre food. My family, especially my husband and I eat at a lot of restaurants in many areas and different states as well, we are 30% tippers for good service and in most of our go to restaurants we are well known and love the owners!! This is the best pizza I have ever had! I came to visit my parents and we ordered take out from here. I was welcomed by two wonderful and sweet girls when picking up, and when we got home, I was AMAZED by the flavor!!! I am very disappointed this is not near me, or this would be a definite favorite. Also...The guy who gave the ".22" cent remarks and a terrible review needs to go out more. No one gives change anymore buddy, how many bags of change do you expect these servers to carry around? You should be leaving a tip and can calculate your change if it is that big of a deal.
