First of all, according to Google this place is closed. Well, it's not. My daughter, and I stopped in tonight because I had heard about this place from a friend. I didn't know it was Pizza Shack because the sign above the door says, "Pizza". On the windows it says Diner / Pizza. We went inside, and it was empty. 6:30 on a Friday night. I thought this was odd. Two people showed up while we were there. One customer doing a pick up, and another who came in, saw there was no slices, and left. I had doubts myself, but the owner? Idk who he was, but he was a very nice man, and talkative! I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, and my daughter got the grilled cheese. Mountains of fries (not salted, good for me, not for other people I would assume). So there isn't much to say except the food was great for us. The atmosphere was nice cause there wasn't anyone there, but probably not good for business. Only before we left did we learn it was THE Pizza Shack, so we will have to go back for the pizza someday. I recommend this place, and would like to see it grow, even though it's been around for years apparently. I hope it stays around for a few more! read more

Long time customer giving up! The last three visits were my last attempts at quality food here. 1. Ordered a dinner with a spaghetti side.. the pasta had been previously cook and so old and dried out it crunched when bitten into. Soda cooler mostly empty and no customers about at a meal time. 2. Ordered a turkey club, while waiting two customers came in and left after the girl working the counter had her back turned texting on her personal phone. One customer looked at me and shrugged their shoulders and left. Club has two pieces of deli turkey thinly sliced... again soda cooler mostly empty.. 3. Stopped in for a slice at lunch, two people working, place was dirty, soda cooler had only three types of soda, no tea or water. The slices were warmed up and had few topping...didn't appear fresh at 11:30 am. The inside looked like it was gutted of furnishings. Haven't seen ,who I know as the owner, there in my last three visits. If you want poor food, few drink selections, dirty floor and tables while being called "sweetie" a dozen times it's your place!!! read more

This place continues to impress. Everything from the phone service when placing an order to picking it up is awesome. The owner is super friendly knows her menu and is super quick in the cooking time. I'm trying all of there speciality pizzas and you'll see each one that goes up when I do. The bbq chicken with is bbq sauce, chicken and onions is out of this world delicious. I know I've said it before but it's worth saying a thousand times if it's true, stop by here and prepare your taste buds to be blown away. Finally tried one of their Liberty deep dish pizzas today and I was underwhelmed. It was hot and there was plenty of cheese and nothing wrong with the sauce at all, but I found the crust to be too doughy and not nearly crispy enough for me. It didn't need more oven time, it's just too much dough and the pan they're using. I wouldn't order the Liberty style again. It's not terrible, it's simply not for me. Prices are reasonable for sure though and the Liberty pie wasn't at all too greasy, so that's good. Of the three different pizzerias on Route 9 that I've frequented so far, House of Pizza I like best over Pizza Shack and Giovanno's for my base pizza requirements. read more

We ordered $62 worth of food. Cheesesteak subs with extra cheese they came with no cheese and the boneless wings were chicken tenders. I called to see if they could fix the subs and whe. I explained what we received she said "ok" Well she proceeded to call me an asshole when I said well the food sucks and hang up on me. I called back and asked for manager she said I am and you can go fu@* yourself don't effing call here again. So unless you want crappy food and horrible service avoid this l,ace like the plague. read more

I noticed this small business had replaced the Papa John's on Route 9, so the next time I was in the mood for pizza I called them up and gave them a try. A large cheese pizza was delivered to my door within a half hour and it was piping hot! The pie had quality mozzarella, a tasty, just slightly sweet sauce and the texture of the crust was excellent. I'm pretty impressed so far! I'll have to dine in next time and see what else they're offering. read more

I'm new to the area and found Pizza Shack online. Ordered their Broccoli White Pizza online for pick up. It was ready by the time I got there. Candi, the associate working there, was wonderful. She talked about their dough and how the owners worked to find the right ingredients for their pizza. And she told me about other items on their menu. She did a great job. Food is really good. Delivery is always fast. Was pleasantly surprised when ordering online via the slice app to be able to save 10% off my order. But best of all is the option to select contactless delivery. It was 18 minutes from clicking send on my order to my delivery arriving. The driver placed the food where I had requested, knocked and left. Exactly what I wanted! In this crazy time of COVID you can't be too careful. This is precisely why I recommend Pizza Shack to my friends and neighbors and will order from there again! They earn 5 stars for timely delivery and common sense! Ya....I hate doing this because it just makes me wait in line more, but this place really is the bomb. A little place, you'd miss it if you weren't looking for it, but the food and the staff here are excellent. Even when it's blazing hot in there they always have a smile. The food is incredible. I like their Liberty Pizza the best. I'm from nyc, and I don't think they've mastered that kind of pizza yet....with the crispy bottom etc...theirs is a touch more doughy....but the flavor is essentially there. Their dinners are killer ad are their wings. You won't be disappointed! read more

Stayed at the Landmark motor INN this weekend. Ordered from here as recommended by the hotel. 45mins after I placed my dinner order for 2, I received a phone call from the pizza shack saying that they were knocking on my hotel door, and that nobody answered and that they left! 20 mins later they show up with the food ( which did taste good) but half of it was missing. We called back and asked for the missing food, some napkins and a fork for the salad. They told us No. They told us we'd have to pay again for the missing food. They told us there'd be a delivery fee again and that we should have requested napkins and a fork. We travel a lot and this isn't our normal positive customer service experience we normally experience while staying in hotels and ordering food. Disappointing. read more

Ordered it for the first time the other day. Delivery was fast and the food was hot when it arrived. My wife ordered the Baked Ziti dinner. It came with a large portion of bread and a generous side salad. The salad had lots of content and was very good. The baked ziti itself was large in size and had good flavor. With all the sides and content the Baked Ziti was a great value. I ordered a Roast Beef and American sub. It was delicious. My only complaint was someone else at our house ordered a Hot Sub and it was packaged with my cold sub. When they arrived my roast beef sub was fairly warm. I ended up chilling it and eating it later. Everything on the menu seemed reasonably priced. I look forward to trying the pizza next time. read more

This review is a shot at constructive criticism. I love you Pizza Shack so please read this objectively and take it as me simply trying to help make you better! My wife and I frequently order take out and the food is great. I like to order sandwiches and the contents of your sandwiches are good. I'd like to request you make a change with your bread however. Your grinder roles are unfortunately very thick and seem dry. Every bight of a chicken parm sandwich for example feels like a mouthful of dry bread. There's too much. We go to DiBella's just for the bread, it can make or break a sandwich. I understand you likely won't be baking your own since that isn't your main business but I can recommend Anzio's Hoagie rolls or Koffee Kup Grinder rolls from Hannaford for example. These are affordable and would lend me to order sandwiches much more often. They're both chewy and delicious regardless of what you put on them. read more
