I've never written a bad review before but the treatment at this restaurant was awful and ruined mine and several others' whole experience. We had an absolutely awful waitress who was rude to us from the start. To start off we had a party of people come in and we were sat in separate booths in a separate party room. Our waitress went to our table and she smacked our menus on the table and just left only to come back later and say " what do you want" without any greeting. We came in with a larger party which may have added to her stress but still no excuse. She was gone for quite a while so our table was mingling with other tables in the party when she came back with the drinks. She then saw that we weren't there because we were talking with another table so I went to come up to get the drinks for the others and explain why we weren't there, she then glared at me and then passed me by ignoring me. She walked over to a different table and slammed the drinks down (spilling some) and yelled that we shouldn't move after we took our drinks and then continue to glare at me after her speech. It was our fault that we didn't let her know we were talking with other tables but her response was totally unprofessional and left everyone in there uneasy and uncomfortable and I felt embarrassed by her approach in-front of the group. I left early because I didn't want to order anything else from her because of how awful she made me and my friends feel. She may have been having a rough day but that's no excuse to treat people bad. I have nothing to say about the food because I never had a chance to eat it because I couldn't stay in that place any longer. If your looking for a place to eat, stay away from here. read more

Pizza is always great. Unfortunately, we always have customer service issues even when it was on 7 Hwy. Today, they ran our card and brought our ticket back to us. Then realized they forgot to charge us for a drink, voided the transaction and reran our credit card. When I asked her for the original ticket and credit ticket she said it was automatic and she has no control over it. So now my card has been charged twice and I have to follow and make sure the credit comes through. She replied, "Well, I can go dig it out of the trash if you want." Um, no thanks, normally places give you all of your tickets for your records in the first place. I shouldn't have to ask for what you chose to freely do with MY credit card. If you make a mistake that's fine, be honest and ask how the CUSTOMER wants to handle it. I don't have a problem paying for what we order. I would have given you a $5 bill and called it good, but instead you didn't ask, didn't care and didn't provide good customer service. We will not be back and if asked we will make sure people know the food is good but the customer service has always been less than decent. Note to owner: When you start counting pennies over customer service, you lose customers. I will pay above and beyond for customer service. I will not return for lack thereof. read more

Our experience was terrible! Our waitress was super friendly..not her fault. The kitchen lost our order, then screwed it up...finally got it an hour later. Spoke with the owner who had a horrible attitude and said...yeah sorry about that...I put a whole bunch of orders in at once for people that called ahead to come in later before yours and it got lost. Seriously????? Then said oh well...here's your food and literally ran off. I will never come here again. At least the chains around here care about customer service! The six dollar tiny salad we got was no where near the size or quality in the menu pictures. We got the BLT salad... the picture shows lots of bacon and cheese..reality is..yeahhhh not so much. It came out with MAYBE two small pinches of cheese and overcooked, scarce bacon. Very disappointing. So this pizza we waited over an hour for? It was ehh ok at best. After the first time we asked where our food was and they realized they had forgotten it.. the waitress went back to the kitchen and had them rush it.. so.. the crust was not so done. We got the Queen sized Butcher Block pizza and the toppings were actually good. The bill was $32 for a medium pizza and a crappy salad with 2 cokes...seriously overpriced. Especially with all the problems we had and the Owner lady refusing to take responsibility for it. She didn't even knock off the cokes from the bill..wow! And the lady below is right about the cokes being flat and the ice being so crushed it melts almost instantly... And did I mention their policy stated right on the menu that you only get one drink refill before they charge you again? That is sooo 1982! Give this place a pass... the Owner is stingy, rude, and gives not a damn about providing quality products or service. There are muuuuch better places to go with much better prices and muuuch better food that aren't chains around here (ahem! MINSKY"S). read more

Been here multiple times. Had a baby "gender-reveal" party here. The staff has been friendly each time and the pizza has been cooked well. I would even comment to say that I was in the restroom (clean, btw) and one of the kitchen staff came in. We said hello and he asked how my meal was going and then thanked me for coming to the restaurant. Obviously they take pride in what they are doing here. read more

This place has recently changed owners. Their sign says "New Owners New Attitude" The new attitude is definately HORRIBLE customer service. They recently made an error in processig my daughters debit card by way over-charging the account which caused a negative balance and NSF fees. And now they refuse to reimburse her the fees. They said that it is not their responsiblity eventhough it was their error. This is a place that is trying to promote support for local High School sports and student organizations. But what they really mean is that they will take the money anyway they can get it. Even if it means taking it out of a kids account. Before they changed owners my family would often either order carry out or eat at this location, but probably will not now. Too bad, they way customers are teated can go a long way. In the end, shouldn't you really feel good about the way you conduct business in your community? Watch your kids bank account !!!! read more

They recently moved to downtown Blue Springs and what a great location! The pizza is always consistent and we like to ask for extra crispy and they do it right. LOVE the pink stuff on my salad...yummy. The owner is very engaged with his customers and even waits on the tables and helps. Definitely worth a trip. read more

Food is good but prices are high on pizza for the size you get.

Came in on a Sunday with a large group to a packed restaurant. We were quickly seated and orders were taken in a timely fashion. Refills were consistent but slow and the food took longer than expected (again, it was packed). We ordered a BBQ Chicken Pizza and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Both entrees were delicious, especially the pizza, though portions do leave room for dessert. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. Certainly worth a return trip. read more

For a long time I've always gone to Minskys for Pizza in KC area, last few times haven't been happy with service and have heard news of Pizza Shoppe so thought we'd give it a shot. We weren't disappointed. The new location in downtown is a huge upgrade from the generic strip mall. This new place gives it some life and uniqueness. The staff seemed a little stiff but still helpful. The famous Pink stuff I have heard of so I needed to try it. Interesting , creamy taste to it. Seems like combo of Italian, thousand island but it's supposed to be a secret! The actual pizza was crisp, thin crust similar to St.Louis Pizza but not as greasy. Tons of combos for toppings.this is my new go to place for local pizza! read more

Pizza Shoppe in Blue Springs has the best pizza in the area. Crust is thin and like a cracker, no sagging pizza slice like you get at Pizza Hut or Domino's. Far better that Fun House Pizza!!! Their Italian sausage pizza is great and one of my favorites. read more

I have to say I have always been a Pappa Johns fan and had never had Pizza Shoppe pizza before .Mr brother in law lives in Bonner Springs and had asked me and my family to go have pizza with them ,I reluctantly said yes.We ordered the barbecue chicken pizza and the three cheese ,bacon and roma,the best pizza I have ever had,thinn crust was crispy but yet soft at the same time (I mean it was not crunchy and burnt just right)Thank you I am a fan of Pizza Shoppe now. read more

Had a party here for my daughters a while back . While the food was great and the room was nice and clean I had a feeling that we weren't exactly welcome. I had complaints from several of my guest too that the waitress was not friendly at all. We were not an overly rambunctious crowd either, actually very respectful if anything so this treatment was really strange. It saddens me because we would eat here at least twice a month and will now have to trek to the Lee's Summit's location. FYI, spent around 500.00 bucks too. Makes no sense. read more
