Thursday in for a salad and pizza! Not busy... that's good! Our Bartender server was great. Chatted with us for a bit too. We decided to split our salad and they put them on two little plates... awesome! Spinach, cranberry, walnuts, & feta with Balsamic Vinegrette. It was so good. The pizza was just as well remembered. Fresh dough, fresh ingredients. They were out of a few things tho. But didn't affect us at all! Good ole classic music on too. Love the Pinball games and foto booth too. They even have a kiddy game, Donkey Kong. Kids allowed till 10 I guess.

Yes, it's OPEN! Went in for pizza with the family. The cheese bread was pretty good, pizza was fine. Nice large TV in the corner playing football. Music wasn't too loud. 4 stars because nothing from this experience was anything to write home about. Waitress was very nice though.

I am smitten by pizza and beer. Let's just say I love happy hour and they have a good selection of pizza toppings. $10 for a large one topping pizza. $2pints on Tuesdays. Lots of specials. Cheap prices, it's nuts. Bar tender was very nice & friendly in a Not flirty way. The way I like it. Lots of Tacoma locals dining and drinking. From all range of ages. Pretty cool place, will go back. Free parking for 90 minutes outside!

Some of the best pizza in tacoma! Amazing, friendly staff and some great pizza, calzone, sandwhich and pasta options! Great for takeout and during non covid times an awesome place for pinball and family time or cocktail with friends

My partner and I checked out this place after getting tattoos at a shop nearby. We were both hungry and we got excited about the thought of pizza. We went inside around 2-3 pm and it wasn't busy. There are multiple games to play, and a machine that gives you change. We went straight to the bar, ordered a beer and a large pizza. We had told each other we were only going to get one slice each but there was a special: $9.99 for a large one topping pizza. Of course we had to get it. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was sooo good! The bartender was super friendly and out on reggae music that my partner was super stoked about. We played pinball after eating (we didn't finish the pizza and the pizza was good as leftovers even after 2 days!). To play pinball, it cost 50 cents. Loved the vibe and will definitely be back.

Parkway Tavern checks all the boxes -- great beer selection, delicious food, good music, and a really cool neighborhood atmosphere. It's tucked right into the middle of a residential neighborhood and feels like a true local spot. The French dip was excellent. The roast beef was perfectly grilled, flavorful and tender, and the sandwich was really well done. Bonus - the bathrooms were super clean! Great food, great beer, ambiance, location and music. They have all the Pappy van Winkles as well as most of the Buffalo Trace Antique collection. They only do 2 oz pours (no half pours) but the prices are still more affordable than any other place you'd find on the West Coast. Some downsides is that they don't have glencairn glasses and the place has your typical tavern smells, so you won't get the full isolated whiskey tasting experience. This place is after all a tavern, so most of the focus is on beers and a communal experience. If you're looking to try something rare without wanting to buy the whole bottle though, I think coming here for whiskey is still pretty good.

Inside the store, they have cozy seating areas and board games to choose from if you have company. I've also seen some people bringing small take outs and eating by the countertop seating with beer and that looked like a good idea. The staff is always friendly and can help you make some really good selections if you're interested in trying something new. On most days, I let my curiosity make choices on sour ales/ciders and buy single cans; or when they display a really cool looking can packaging I will for sure gravitate to it. Parking area is ample they also got some good Thai restaurant and Poke place in same lot, and across is hot chicken wing place and Dairy Queen so its golden. As for prices of beer cans, you definitely can find lower prices at local big grocery shops on common local beer labels, but difference is not by much and this is not a Safeway so there's that. This place being closer to me than Total Wine at the Tacoma Mall, I am a frequent flyer here. Its convenient, and fun to browse and take a few or 4 cans to try at home. They also do lots of events, and lots of charity work for good causes around helping community, which I appreciate!

The food is my favorite part. I can have a beer anywhere, but the food is actually pretty on point minus the nachos, sad to say. The sandwiches are amazing, the quesadillas are amazing, have yet to make it there before breakfast ends but I'm betting it's probably pretty good. Staff are friendly, efficient, and do well on checking to make sure you're not waiting too long for service without being too bothersome.
