Soooooo disappointed with the Clovis location! I'd give ZERO stars if I could. I placed an order for pick-up on Door Dash today and when I arrived, the store was closed. It was a Thursday at 12:20pm, so well within their business hours. The doors were literally locked, no one was inside, no other signs on their doors indicating they were closed. I then proceeded to call the store directly. The person who answered simply answered with "hello?" as if that phone number did not belong to a business. When I asked if I was calling Chicago Pizza in Clovis, it was then that she verified I had called the right number. I explained that I placed an order for pick-up through Door Dash (Door Dash confirmed my order was ready for pick-up) and was here to pick up my order. She explained to me that there had been some issue with PG&E...blah blah blah. I'm an understanding person and I understand that PG&E issues are out of the restaurant's control. But the point is that they didn't even bother temporarily deactivate their Door Dash account or put up a sign outside their store to prevent customers from ordering. The person I spoke to did not apologize to me or offer any sort of consolation. However, she did offer to make my pizzas to pick up from their other location that was clear across town. I was on my lunch break, hungry, and standing in front of a closed restaurant like a sad puppy. I already drove to this location, there's no way I was going to drive across town to pick up pizzas at that point. I just wish they were more professional and responsible about these sorts of situations. When I asked her how I was to obtain my refund, she said I'd have to handle it with Door Dash. Luckily, Door Dash was amazing and issued my refund right away. I'm not sure I'll be supporting this business anymore. The pizza is outstanding. We order from them on a weekly basis sometimes. But This review is just for Service and Delivery we recently received. I wouldn't have written this but the amount of stress I went through made me write this . I ordered 7-8 Family size Pizzas to be delivered at a party venue. It was a Saturday , so to beat the rush I placed my order 3 hours ahead time so we get our delivery on time . And guess what it's 20 mins late . And during those 20 mins we are constantly calling them and our calls were transferred to voicemail . After several attempts we finally got hold of someone and she tells me the driver is outside . We stood outside the venue with our guest waiting for food inside .That took another 10min . Poor coordination with driver and commitment to deliver on time . And another thing we had requested is to label the boxes to differentiate b/w pizzas but nope that wasn't done either . I always get mine extra spicy and it's never been to hot to handle. The staff was super friendly and had no problem explaining the menu items. The only negative experience was the ignorant Caucasian lady that came in and gave the poor girl at the counter a hard time about the menu. Yes it is an Indian pizza place but they do have traditional pizza as well. Definitely my new favorite pizza place. I ordered the specialty all green pizza with added spicy chicken, I received a vegetarian pizza with spicy chicken . I also ordered tequila lime chicken wings, I received plain roasted chicken with an unusual amount of salt on it, so salty the wings were uneatable. To top it off I forgot to order a drink so I actually called the restaurant spoke to a not so happy person to see if I could just add it to the order, the guy said I had to pay for it over the phone which wasn't a problem, I ordered two sprites, I received two cokes instead. I understand that it's Covid-19 and everything is tough for everyone, but that is no reason to take that frustration out on your customers. read more

We were so pleasantly surprised at how good this was! Friendly staff helped us choose our order, with patience and great explanation of flavors. I was most impressed about the lack of grease! It was nice to eat a slice of pizza with a crispy but not too crunchy crust and very little grease! We were enjoying our pizza and an order of Canadian bacon bread sticks, when someone came out to check on us and asked us if we'd like to try their chicken tika masala pizza! We thought they'd bring out a slice to try, but she brought out a whole new pizza! So generous, and I was impressed with the flavor. To be honest, we would never have ordered it on our own, but we will be getting the tika masala again, it was so good! Been here a few times for their 2 large 3 topping pizzas special for $23.99. Very high quality pizza for the price. This time we stopped in for the lunch buffet. Only 1 pepperoni pizza was out but we were asked what we wanted and she would make it for us. About the time we were done with our salads the fresh pizza came out. Excellent perception on his part because I was asking about different toppings when ordering over the phone but I only wanted 2 pizzas. My friend and I came here yesterday on a whim. We got a large half veggie pizza, and half chicken curry with medium spiciness. I had never had Indian-style pizza so I was very excited to try it! The vegetarian was delicious, and the chicken curry was out of this world. My first bite was super spicy but once I got used to it I was able to taste all of the rich flavors. I will definitely be coming back to try many of the other offerings. The Indian pizza is as flavorful and great as I had heard, but even their garlic chicken pizza was fantastic. Very reasonable buffet price for lunch meant I got to try out three (3!) of their Indian pizzas in one sitting. I had the Tandoori (spicy and slightly sweet), Masala (zesty and spicy) and Curry (which was so fragrant and packed a ton of flavor). I know I'm on repeat here, but everything was super delicious! They didn't have hand toss pizza, but we were pretty chill about it and said it was ok because it wasn't like we knew what it was supposed to look like anyways . However, they were super generous and made and brought us another one right before we left. Which brings me to their service. Absolutely amazing!! They were very attentive and checked on us to see if we needed anything like every 10min. The lady at the register even informed me about the deals they were offering, from my experience businesses usually want you to pay full price , but they were total opposite and welcomed their customers so kindly. This is the best pizza place I've ever been to. They provide great value, amazing flavors, and are extremely accommodating. My wife is vegan and she can safely eat here. They have a wide variety of vegetables to choose from, vegan cheese, and their new vegan white sauce is delicious. We can't get enough! In addition to being vegan friendly, they have many Indian inspired options if you're looking for that twist! We live in the nearby mountains and drive an hour and a half to get our favorite pizza. Last night was our first time trying this place and it did NOT disappoint. We ordered one Allstar pizza and one pepperoni for take out. We got there a little earlier than expected and the nice lady at the counter gave us a couple of soda cups to use while we waited. The pizzas came out a few minutes later, we checked them before we left and they looked and smelled amazing! Too bad we had a 15 min drive home before we could taste it. It was worth the wait. Pizza was ok nothing great. Ordered for the first time today as we absolutely love Indian food. Kids can eat it each week and figured why not it's super bowl so let's do pizza tiki masala. Pizza arrived on time and hot both a plus. Box was crushed so pizza had some stuck cheese so bad thing. Took first bite and sadly had little to no real Indian tiki masala flavor. Wife and kids all questioned if this was really tiki masala pizza. Luckily I made tandoori chicken wings which everyone ate but pizza was so so. Flavor for was 2 stars Crust was 3 stars On time and hit 4 stars Average 3. All in all won't do it again. Will try another pizza company and see if they can make tiki masala pizza. read more
